Zaxby's has definitely always been a great place to get chicken. Their food is best eaten fresh, right after it is made. Take-out from the drive through is good, but it is best to eat at the restaurant. Their food is not food that I normally find myself craving a lot, but it is a great place to get your chicken fix if you need one! Their sweet tea is also pretty darn good! This location is fairly nice, but could definitely be cleaner. The service here has always seemed to be pretty good and fairly consistent. Zaxby's doesn't necessarily have a ground-breaking atmosphere or crazy-incredible food, but it is still pretty good and is definitely a good place to get some chicken! read more

Tried Zaxby's for my first time and I can say that it is "ok". Expectations were met. Food was prompt. Zaxby's sauce was delish!

I love this Location. They just built it not to long ago near town so it's very convienient. Their food is always hot & they have the best ranch, honey mustard, & Zax sauces. The chicken of course is tremendously awesome & it's not to expensive. It's the perfect place to go on occassion or for just for fun. Their perfectly seasoned fries are a sin but a temptation! Not to mention the wings! Their chicken is so perfect and well cooked and it doesn't have in slimey parts, yellowish parts, and no tiny hairs on the skin. The mild hot wings are saucey but crispy. The food here is always wonderful, hot and fresh. But I am writing this review because I had the most amazing service provided to me from Chase and the rest of the crew on Friday, 10/28/16. Their team went out of there way to accommodate us in catering for a last minute meeting. They worked it into their schedule so that we could pull something off on a shoe-string budget and we were able to meet our needs, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! This was critical in the moving forward of a large project and you guys went above and beyond. This is what community is all about. Zaxby's is absolutely the best restaurant to go to when you need something to make your stomach feel happy. The food is the best because it is fresh and whenever you ask for it, they make sure it is cooked the way they would want it. I think that Zaxby's is better than Bojangles too. I think people take them for granted just because they are convenient, but I think its worth it. The employees there are always cheerful and you never see them with out a smile on there face. Sometimes they like to "accidentally" put extra food in your tray just because they want you to come back. If you want to have some good food, then I suggest you go to Zaxby's because they have the best. read more

Chicken is cooked in fryer oil but if you are going to a fried chicken restaurant, what else would you expect?? It's not overly greasy and is always fresh. Staff is amazing and inside has local decor from around Greensboro. Drive thru it's just as fast, if not faster than Chic-fil-a AND they don't keep their food on a hot piece of metal, ready to serve, like Chic-fil-a. It was my first time eating at Zaxby's. It was disappointing. The girl taking the order didn't want to explain what the options were but pointed to the sign. I explained it was my first time there. The sign did not explain what the options were. She did not help. I finally decided to have the 5 piece chicken with Teriyaki sauce. My husband decided on the Buffalo Blue Zlad. When he picked up the order he asked for a straw & was handed a fork. Customer service needs to be improved. They were not busy so giving the customer service was not too much to ask. The Chicken Teriyaki sauce was so strong that I could not taste anything else. My husband's said his Buffalo Blue Zalad was strong and hot. He usually enjoys hot food. We both had upset stomachs after leaving and the following day as well. We are not returning to Zaxby's. read more

Being from Atlanta I have always enjoyed Zaxby's. However this location isn't nearly as good as most. The drive thru is always very slow. The other day I went and they were out of mayonnaise! She said they wouldn't have any until the truck came on Friday. I spent $18 and asked for a pack of Zaxby's sauce and they said there would be a charge of .25...Sorry but I can not stand to be nickeled and dimed to death. Just build the .25 into the price. This location's portions seem smaller than other locations. They offer daily specials I've taken advantage of these specials twice and both times I had to ask why they didn't give me the special price and they acted surprised and had to ring my purchase over. Disappointing because I live close to this location but often choose other restaurants. read more

The last two times I have visited were the best AND worst Zaxby's experiences I have ever had. Kudos to the employee who took our order on our previous visit; she was professional, prompt, and proactive in ensuring our food was correct and fresh. That visit was the reason I drove past the Zaxby's on W Market St to visit the New Garden Location tonight. Tonight's visit was different. Although the cashier working the drive thru window was friendly and accommodating, the rest of the visit was not as positive. I did NOT enjoy seeing some of the staff sitting on the counter and talking while the floor was being swept and mopped right under their feet. We waited maybe 5 minutes at the window to collect our food, which is confusing because the food was all cold by the time we got home roughly 10 minutes later. The fries on both orders were tough, cold, and without seasoning; truly a shining example of what I would describe as cardboard. The Wings N Things was poorly organized, the boneless wings were barely covered in sauce, and they were cold. The chicken fingers were soggy and cold. My biggest issue was that one of the chicken fingers was only half a chicken finger, as it was clearly torn in half. I don't think it is necessary for me to go into further detail about why this is gross and disturbing. I gave this restaurant a 2-star ONLY because my previous visit was so good, and I know what this restaurant is capable of. However, despite the friendly woman who took our order, tonight was a total waste of money. read more

Why do they have a 94 sanitation grade??? Also, why don't they have their food ready when you go through drive thru? We've been waiting 10 minutes already. Their fries are always soggy and they never provide extra sauces when you buy them as extras. This will be the last time we support this location and maybe this business. One of most important staples of American food is protein and more importantly chicken. And what better Idea than to build a huge fast food chain around that staple. Whenever I travel and I see a zaxbys location I make sure to hop in and get some chicken. Well recently I decided to pop in to the one near my house and I ordered a 10 piece boneless BBQ wing meal with fries and a Coke. I live about 3 minutes away give or take. When I arrived home I opened up the box and took a bite of one of the wings and was struck by the cold vortex that surrounded the wing. It was stale and hard as a rock. I then proceeded to try two more only to be met with the same amount cold, stale hatred. After my disgusting meal I pondered on whether the food was just very poorly made or if the workers had left the wings sitting out for too long. Either way I paid about $10.00 for a revolting and disgusting, semi-frozen box of wings. The interior of the restaurant however is slightly greasy but that comes with the fast food style. I do like however the many options for drinks with the groovy Coke machine and unique ice texture. I also like how the interior is accented with local decor of sports teams. Lastly the workers where not especially good or attentive but didn't do anything I saw was a problem. If you are looking for some quick chicken and aren't afraid of it being cold then feel free to eat here. read more

My fiance and I visited this place yesterday and were very disappointed. She wanted the party cake milkshake and I was hungry. We ordered our food, then went to find a table to sit at. Every table in there was dirty, the floor was sticky, and napkins and food all over the floor. We settled on a small booth that only had some ranch dressing on it and I cleaned it myself. The young lady who took our order called me to the counter to tell me that the shakes were to frozen to serve and would have to thaw out "would you like a cookie or something else" she asked. I explained to her that the only reason we came here was the shake. They said they would thaw one for us and it should be ready by the time we leave. The food was mediocre at best, the crew was loud and joking around, an employee who was clearly not on the clock was sitting slouched down in a chair near the counter just glaring at everyone who came in. The shake did come as we were finishing up and my fiance said it tasted awful. She is a lover of milk shakes and this is the first time I have seen her throw one away since I have known her. I do not expect a lot from fast food restaurants, but seriously there was enough employees and slow enough to at least clean up the place. read more
