Great new nepali/indian restaurant in temecula! Food was absolutely delicious. So much flavor and everything was cooked to perfection without being oily or greasy. Staff was great and friendly as was the owner who made sure to introduce himself and welcome us to his restaurant. Cant go wrong with momos and the traditional indian dishes: chicken tikka masala and biryani. Excited and interested to try the yak meat next time. The restaurant is also modern and a large space for parties of all sizes. Will definitely be back again soon read more

Whew... literally 3 people was in here on this Sunday evening eating here. 3 people!!! My husband and I walk in (we are Black). The guy ask us to wait to be seated, we say no problem. Again it's 3 people in this entire restaurant lol. We wait in the sitting area for 10 minutes. A female waitress/hostess walks by. I tell her we are still waiting to be seated. She looks at me like I'm talking a different language and says oh OK. A group of white people walk in, she seats them immediately. When I stop her before she could seat them and asked her why she was seating them before us and she started stuttering. I was like there is no way you should be seating them before us as we had been here waiting to eat along with the other 3 people seated eating in this empty restaurant. It is so unacceptable, disappointing and disrespectful. We walked out. We love Nepalese food and would've spent quite a bit of money but we were like hell no. Good riddance. read more

I honestly don't do yelp reviews but I just attended here today and had the best meal in my life. I never tried Indian food and this place made me love it more than I thought i would. I walked in and I see the tables set and it was very clean and elegant already in love with the setting and ambiance of the place itself When we got sat down it was by a very nice young lady we were served water in glasses and quickly got out order taken the service was so welcoming as if we were family everyone was so kind, they recommend a perfect dessert and the people itself would make me want to go back and I will be coming back!! The coconut curry with garlic naan was to die for it was buttery, sweet, flavorful, the naan melted in my mouth and was fluffy and warm. The lamb was cooked perfectly with a spice tolerance I chose from which was perfect makes it great for everyone who wants spicy or can't handle you get to choose. The mango chicken wings were to die for everything was just amazing I left with leftover the portions are amazing great to share and try dishes, I left craving more this place is my new favorite... The only bad thing is... THEY need more people to see how amazing this place is, we need people trying this right now! It deserves more recognition and stars! Everyone come here I beg. Def confused by all the 5 star reviews. I very rarely write them but I'm a huge fan of Indian so felt compelled to. Went for buffet as advertised, but no buffet available. Food was extremely unauthentic, have had better food at the airport. Dry, tasted like it was frozen and then microwaved. Stomach hurt after which never happens. Server was overly rambunctious and tried to sell us everything on the menu (which did not work BTW). My friend and I agreed to never go back. read more

I ordered the Chicken coconut curry, garlic nana, and samosas (I always have to order them). Everything was absolutely delicious! I can handle a lot of spice, so after reading the reviews, I decided to get the curry "spicy." I'm glad I did because it was the perfect amount of heat. Zen Curry and grill, what can I say, I have had some traditional Indian food in my life so far, but zen take the whole cake the flavor is on point, it was so good I forgot to take photos of my food, that's how good it was. You can tell how much pride and dedication goes into every dish. We had the garlic naan bread the tandoori wings, mango wing, chicken tiki Marsala, coconut chicken curry, lamb curry. It was amazing . Incredible food and service! It was my first visit to Zen Curry and Grill, and the indoor ambiance was beautiful-- with the outdoor area being equally stunning. Our server, Issam, went out of his way to take care of us. We had our dog with us, and they accommodated us with outdoor seating. The food was served fast and tasted delicious, fresh and it wasn't too spicy so perfect for me and my family. The service was outstanding, and we will definitely be returning regularly! From the moment I entered the restaurant, I astral projected to a far away land, carried on the winds of curry, led by clouds of garlic naan and cheese naan. The lamb curry placed me in a trance, and the feelings of bliss were only enhanced by the Butter Chicken and Tikka. This is a new restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine, the kitchen is staffed with Nepalese chefs who prepare traditional dishes with all the spices. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer...omg!
