So Yelp has a generic comment when you hit 5 stars... "Amazing! What went well.? EVERYTHING. The food here was amazing. The service was amazing. The cleanliness is amazing. We got the lamb on everything and it is great. We had the rack of lamb, lamb curry, lamb rice... omg so good. This is our spot. One caveat, it is a tad pricey but this is justified. It's not a cheap take out place but some good food with no expense spared. Like it love it will be back

Had a great experience with absolutely delicious food served with great service at this restaurant. Highly recommend their mixed grill platter for tender and flavorful grilled selection of meats. The ambiance is upbeat and fun - the place was packed during a weekday dinner time. Highly recommend if you're looking for some solid North Indian/Nepalese fusion food!

What an amazing experience from start to finish! The service was immediate, our appetizers came out incredibly fast, and every single dish exceeded our expectations. We ordered the cauliflower, vegetable samosas (so yummy!), chicken vindaloo, butter chicken, and the boneless tandoori--which was hands down our favorite. The butter chicken was perfectly balanced in flavor: rich, creamy, and incredibly delicious without being overly sweet. The naan deserves a special mention. We ordered both the garlic naan and butter naan, and the garlic naan was next level. At so many restaurants the garlic ends up burned, but Zen Curry absolutely nailed it. It was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and some of the best garlic naan we've had. We enjoyed a Taj Mahal beer and a mango margarita to round out the meal. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and the entire experience--from the food to the speed of service--made for a wonderful evening. Definitely great for dining with kiddos to as our son loved his food! Thank you, Zen Curry, for such a great time. We'll definitely be back!

WOW!!! Why have I never been here before!!?? First off our waiter Toya was great..It was my first time here and he helped to recommend some of the best chicken curry and other great tasting items..I've ever had! The lamb rice was delicious and the mango wings were very tasty! All in all if you haven't been here its a must try! Oh and how did i forget the Old Monk 10,0000 super beer he recommended!!!

Best Indian - Nepal cuisine in Temecula and surrounding areas! The food is rich, flavorful and fresh. The owner takes real pride in everything about this restaurant, including quality of food, decor, and the friendly service of all the staff. We usually order spinach paneer and chicken curry, which is excellent here. Recently we were introduced to their butter chicken, vegetable briyani, steamed dumplings, and mango lassi, which we had during our most recent dining experience here. And then there is their garlic naan. I highly recommend anything I listed here! Also the roasted cauliflower. I guess so far everything I have eaten here has been a sure thing. Just be careful when enjoying this rich food and don't over do it. Voted #22 out of 100 of top places to eat in 2026 for a reason! Support this local business!

Let me just say there is a reason why Zen Curry is ranked #22 on Yelp. Their food is delicious! We had the crispy cauliflower for our appetizer and it reminded me of a vegetarian version of kung pao. It was crispy and delicious. For our mains we had the tandoori chicken with roasted vegetables for an up charge of $8. We also had the coconut chicken curry and it came with jasmine rice. Both dishes were very flavorful. We ordered the garlic naan which was a great accompaniment to our meal The service provided by Issam was great and he suggested the roasted vegetables with the tandoori chicken which was a great suggestion. Katie who brought the dishes out to us was friendly and stated that she loves working there. The reason for the four stars is that the total bill was almost $100 for just the two of us and no drinks. This included a well deserved 20% tip. This is very pricey for two chicken dishes and a vegetable appetizer compared to other delicious Indian restaurants in the area. With that in mind we will be back but maybe on special occasions.

Excellent food, excellent ambience & great service. Had the best tasting Indian and Nepali cuisine in San Diego. This is by far the best restaurant because of cleanliness, taste, atmosphere, friendly staff and the thought they have put in everything. Authentic taste. We went for lunch after wine tasting in the area. Best possible option. They have full bar with bar option as well. We need this in downtown San Diego as well. Definitely taking my friends & family. Tried this spot as it caught our eye on the Yelp Top 100 list. The portions were great for the price, and each dish tasted great. Location and service are good.

Zen Curry and Grill has the best salmon tandoori with mixed vegetables I have ever tasted. The customer service is always friendly and the food is cooked fresh, so it takes a little longer but it's worth the wait. They just got a full bar and are ready to make you some great signature cocktails! Visit them soon.

We were hosted by Darci who recommended dishes that were all outstanding! She is truly a gem and genuinely kind and thoughtful. Everyone who works there contributed to the happy vibes! Now let's talk about the FOOD! I mean it when EVERY SINGLE BITE we had was incredible, like close your eyes and savor each flavor bite incredible. So many delightful flavors! To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

When we arrived, we were blown away by the beautifully decorated table--complete with fresh flowers and congratulatory signs. My wife and I are vegetarian and made a special request for a dish not listed on the menu. To our delight, the chef not only accepted the request but absolutely blew us away with the flavors and presentation. It was my wife's first time trying Nepalese food--and her first taste of Veg Momo. Let's just say: she's a fan for life now. I had the pleasure of dining at Zen Curry and Grill in Temecula with my son last Tuesday night, and it was an excellent experience! We started with the tandoori chicken appetizer, and while I still have fond memories of my favorite at the Hilton in Colombo, Sri Lanka, this dish definitely hit the spot and brought back those flavors, I added a little yoghurt to the dipping sauce which I think added that little bit of cool taste in the background with the tandoori flavors. The lamb momos were also very good--just make sure to enjoy them while they're hot and steaming for the best taste! We then tried the chicken tikka masala and chicken vindaloo, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The garlic naan was a perfect complement to the curries, soft and full of flavor. However, the highlight for me was the butter chicken--it had just the right balance of spices and a creamy texture that made it stand out. They do offer a large amount of veg options which I will have to come back and try. The ambiance is great--clean, a bit upscale, and a comfortable place to sit and relax. Our server, Christina, was outstanding! She was attentive, had a fantastic personality, and her knowledge of the menu really enhanced our dining experience.
