Absolutely fantastic. The drunken noodles were fresh and had the perfect texture. I added a chili oil on the side and it was perfection!! My husband had the ramen and it was so filling, fresh and flavorful. Our seven year old had pho and said it was the best food he's ever had. Really impressive and unassuming. The quality of the broth was great, and I felt very satisfied with the flavor. Despite calling in the order, I had to wait at least 5 minutes in the store. The check-out process could have been more efficient, and quicker. This is one of the main reasons I rated this restaurant 4 stars. Another concern was the portion size. I was a bit disappointed, and felt that the portion size wasn't very generous for takeout orders. I had eaten in at this restaurant years ago in the past and I remember receiving larger bowls with more protein in the past. All in all, Taste is a great spot for Pho. I'd recommend eating in if you're looking to get the most value. Takeout seems to have smaller portion sizes, and I'm noticing this same sentiment from other reviewers. I've been here with my boyfriend only twice now, but I can already say it is by far my favorite soup place in Florida. The service is very friendly and helpful, and they take great care to meet dietary restrictions well (I'm a vegetarian) The broth is incredibly rich in flavor, and their ramen noodles are excellent at absorbing that flavor. As a must-add, their tofu bao buns are so good. From what I've experienced, only Dragonfly and here have managed to produce that perfect consistency of bun, with a sauce I could kill for. Went here for lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Servers were attentive and helpful with questions about the menu offerings. The atmosphere is like a noodle bar in Tokyo but with a more diverse menu that includes Japanese, Korean and Thai offerings. I had the bulgogi rice bowl with tasty grilled beef, cucumbers, carrot and radish, tomato and rice. It was very tasty and filling. I also had a couple of summer rolls with shrimp and grilled pork. They were full of the aforementioned proteins and lots of rice noodles, bean sprouts and lettuce along with a delicious peanut sauce for dipping. Prices were very reasonable. I recommend searching out this spot tucked away in a maze of shops in a shopping center just off a major intersection in Gainesville. I found this place on yelp, I was looking for some soup d/t a upset stomach. When My nephew and I arrived, the person was very welcoming and pleasant. My nephew and I looked over the menu and ordered the #10 (HOANH THANH). I had to use the bathroom and it was really clean and it was very accommodating to women, definitely made me smile. Our food took about 5-7minutes and it definitely was made fresh and hot. We got home and I was amazed when I opened it, lots of everything in the bowl. Only thing was, I wish it had more pork, I had to share with my nephew because he devoured his lol. The initial picture came out blurry so I only have the after pic of all the goodness. This place has done a complete renovation, and I can definitely say that it looks amazing. However, with the new layout and new menu, I was hoping that the food would keep up as well. I came to this place twice and ordered the same thing and I would say that the pho here is mediocre. The customer service was great, and the staff were super friendly but the food was ok. The soup was warm both times that I got the Pho Tai. The meat is supposed to be raw, and the boiling soup is supposed to cook it. But both times I came, the soup was luke warm so the meat would not fully cook. A couple pieces of my meat were just completely raw and cold. Also, the portion sizes are relatively small for the price. This place used to be Taste Pho, and they gave great portions for the same pho and same price, but now it seems like they add less noodles. With the soup being cold, it is also definitely less tasty. I would definitely come back and try other things on the menu, but for my first couple experiences, the pho here is not anything special. read more

Unfortunately my experience as Taste Pho was subpar. The service was slow and the pho was underwhelming. I could tell the ingredients were old. The platter of cilantro, bean sprouts and basil leaves were very old. I could tell because the bean sprouts were browning on their edges, losing their volume from shriveling and only one wedge of lime that was cut days ago. While the ingredients overall were old, the pho noodles were clumped together in one large noodle ball. I had to separate them within the soup. Overall, old ingredients and poor care for the noodles. We had this for dinner and it was super busy but sooo worth it! If your looking for flavorful ramen or pho this is a must! We had the vegetarian ramen and vegetarian pho as well as a kids grilled chicken and noodle!
