    Chicken Tacos

This is a casual restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating along with a 21+ bar area in the heart of Zion National Park, right near shuttle stop #1 and the Visitor's Center. The staff are laid back and seemingly happy to serve you. Check in at the host stand to be seated. The menu offers all the main dishes you'd expect at a brew pub - this is not a gastro pub, just good food and brews. I ordered the Chicken Tacos, which came with fries. I had the pico de gallo served on the side and ate the tacos without it. They have a sauce on them that provides a little kick - not too spicy, but you still need water and tissue for your nose when it starts to run. Hubby had the Summer Berry Salad which arrived as fresh as if they'd just picked the berries. It was very flavorful and light tasting. All in all, solid option if you are looking for casual dining with good friends.

Considering this place is located just outside Zion National Park, the food is quite good and affordable at under $20 for most dishes. Don't miss out on the prickly pear lemonade either. Portion sizes are good for the price as well. Their salads over good customizations. The fries are a good crispy and have nice seasoning on them. The grilled cheese had good melt and crunch as well. Service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is that of a brewpub and it's clean too!

After hiking 6 miles in Zion, we were thirsty and hungry. So a beer (Zion Pale Ale & Conviction Stout) along with a chicken club, hit the spot. Their onion rings are delish. Sat on the patio watching all the hikers return from Zion. They looked like they were in better shape than me! Came back to have dinner a few hours later. Shared a beer salad, fish & chips, chicken tacos and s'mores bread pudding (enormous!) so yummy and our server Jesse was a delight.

A long awaited cold beer after a long day of hiking! Located just outside Zion right at the pedestrian entrance from the visitor parking lot, it is the perfect way to end your day. Outstanding service. We sat in the bar area and chatted with Stevie and a few others. They were amazing! Totally made our day. The food was good. I got a burger. Solid food and brews. Not much more I could ask for honestly.

What more can you ask for when the Brewpub is next to the walking entrance of Zion National Parking? Ordered a pitcher of beer (hot day), Elk Burger and chicken wings. Food was great and beer was tasty. Some folks have talked about how overpriced the food was. Yes, it is $2 higher than the price point of an item. But the beer pricing was reasonable. In any case, server was great and helped us immediately. Will come back again.

Have your ID if you want to sit outside or in the bar - it's Utah! The shrimp tacos had great flavor - highly recommend. Get the basil vinaigrette dressing - refreshing! I only wish the side salad was bigger, it was very small in a cup for soup. A very busy place, since it's right at the entrance of the park, but ordering at the bar made it easy and the food was pretty quick to come out. The flight of beers was just perfect way to sample and it was hard to pick a favorite. It was a perfect day sitting outside after a hike.

    Not a bad price point!

Great views!! The food is good and the staff are friendly. We eat here for dinner and again for lunch. I recommend the wings, but out of the 6 of us, there wasn't a bad option on the menu! As for drinks, I recommend Juicy IPA

Great patio to hang out with your dog, drink tasty beer, have a burger, and watch the hikers get geared up. Nice shade too.

There's a tavern side and a separate kid-friendly restaurant side. They have some good beers, but I ordered the whiskey Arnold Palmer that didn't taste great. They must've used some well bottle. However overall great vibes and it was nice chillin outside with a beautiful view.

My boyfriend and I came during off season so we were sat immediately. It was decorated very sweet for Christmas with tons of lights! We got the pub pretzels which were fantastic - so soft, warm, & chewy with not too much salt. The queso and house made brown mustard was good too! Perfect app. I got the emerald burger which is a vegan burger with the classic toppings and seasoned fries. The burger was good! Fries had a nice seasoning on them. My boyfriend got the zion brew burger and said it was a little bland/dry, but not bad. He got the chimichurri fries, and those were good. They had a nice tang to them but not sure if worth the extra $3. We also ordered onion rings which comes with a LOT. Eyes were bigger than our stomach! The BBQ ranch was okay. Maybe a blooming onion-type sauce would be better. Our waitress was extremely fast and nice. To improve this experience I would say thinner and/or crispier fries, different sauce for the onion rings and maybe a bit more love for the burgers. BUT overall, a good experience. It hit the burger craving!

Zion Canyon Brew Pub is the perfect place to land after a full day of hiking. The location could not be more convenient since it sits right next to the walk-in entrance to the park. The patio has misters that feel incredible on hot days and the views are absolutely unreal. The service is friendly and quick, and the beer is great with lots of easy-drinking options that hit perfectly after hours on the trails. The food was solid and exactly what you want post-hike. Overall, it's a must-stop spot for anyone visiting Zion and looking to relax, refuel, and take in the scenery.

Plastic cup with lipstick on the rim still.

After some hikes we walked in to share a burger. It took a while before someone helped us and brought water out. The cups were disgusting. You could scratch dried food off them and one still had lipstick on the rim. Ordered the Zion Brew Burger. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Very messy to eat so make sure you have lots of napkins. Fries were okay and not hot. Don't know if it was worth $22.

It's convenient and they serve decent food. Depending on how much you're willing to spend, that can be a good or bad thing.

The fly deterrent fan propellers were definitely needed and appreciated for the fly issue in the patio. Our waiter, Jaylin (sp?), was excellent. He brought us water right away. Took our drink and food order quickly and was very attentive throughout our meal. We ordered way too much food but it was fine for leftovers. The kids fettuccine with marinara sauce was good. Pepperoni and combo pizzas were ok. The crust was super crunchy. We parked in the back of the building. It could get packed during peak hours. Not sure if I would return. We are still looking for THE pizza spot in Zion.

It definitely did not disappoint! I had a bit of a hard time finding this place as it's in an industrial area and kind of hiding, but it was worth the journey. For my drink, I ordered the blackberry smash, which was a mule with a fruity twist. It was delicious and much stronger than other drinks I've had in this area. For my meal, I went with the highly-acclaimed fish and chips, which did indeed live up to their hype. The fish was perfectly fried and the fries had a good bite to them. I also really enjoyed the fry sauce that tagged along with the dish. Our server was also wonderful and made helpful suggestions throughout the meal. Ok, for the food, the fried pickles were the best thing we had, get those. Light and crispy batter with a decently thick pickle chip inside, really good. The food, fish and chips, spicy reuben, chicken sandwich, and bbq wings. Fish and chips, decent enough, nothing to write home about, delicate batter, great flavor. Spicy Reuben...what a trainwreck, the meat was stringy and annoying to eat. The sauerkraut was sweet? Just terrible. The bbq wings were as described, so not bad. The chicken sandwich was not great either, chicken was dry and kind of hard to eat. The garlic parm fries though? Amazing. Get those as your side. We also had the Guavala and the Hef, both were really good and a steal at $6 each. They also have a small store front with no prices, frustrating. Overall, won't be back again, maybe we just came on a bad day, but once was enough.

45+ Minutes in 100° Heat, Passed Over Repeatedly, Then Offered a High-Top for a Toddler…read more Our experience at George's today was so bizarre, frustrating, and poorly handled that I am still trying to understand how a restaurant could treat a family this way. We arrived as a family of three--two adults and our toddler--and were told the wait would be approximately 15-20 minutes. We were added to the waitlist and waited outside in nearly 100-degree heat. While we waited, several parties arrived AFTER us. We know this with certainty because we watched them walk in, add their names to the list, come back outside, and even chatted with some of them while we all waited. Then, one by one, those parties were called inside and seated before us. After the last of them was seated, I finally went inside and asked the front-of-house employee in the pink shirt whether we were even still on the list. She assured me we were and said we were "next." We then waited approximately another 10 minutes. By the time someone finally came for us, our supposed 15-20 minute wait had become 45-46 minutes. And somehow, that wasn't even the most baffling part. We were walked through the restaurant, past multiple empty, standard-height tables, and taken down toward the bar. We passed yet another regular four-seat table there. And then we were offered a high-top table. For two adults and a TODDLER. Our toddler had physically walked into the restaurant with us when we originally put our names on the list. There was never any ambiguity that we had a small child with us. No booster or appropriate toddler seating was offered at this high-top, either. We obviously declined. Expecting a toddler to safely sit at a high-top is not merely impractical--it creates a completely unnecessary fall and safety risk. We were then informed that if we wanted a normal table, we would need to wait another 10-15 minutes. At that point, I was genuinely stunned. We had already waited more than twice the time we were quoted. We had watched parties who arrived after us get seated ahead of us. None of those parties, to our knowledge, were forced to choose between an inappropriate high-top and an additional wait. And we could literally see empty standard tables. When we specifically asked about the empty four-person table near the bar, we were told we couldn't sit there because that server was having a very busy day and it would be another 15-20 minutes before she could take us. So let me understand this: your restaurant allowed a family with a toddler to wait outside in extreme heat for more than 45 minutes, repeatedly seated later-arriving parties ahead of them, finally brought them inside only to offer seating obviously unsuitable for a small child, and then--while empty standard tables were plainly visible--essentially told them to go wait some more? At what point does someone on staff recognize that something has gone badly wrong and attempt to fix it? There was no meaningful apology. No sense of urgency. No empathy. No attempt to problem-solve. No acknowledgment that the original 15-20 minute estimate had turned into 45+ minutes while other guests were seated ahead of us. What makes this experience even more uncomfortable is that we are a mixed-race couple. I cannot say why we were treated differently, and I am not going to make an accusation I cannot prove. But after watching multiple parties who arrived after us be seated before us, only to then be offered uniquely inappropriate seating for our family, I am left questioning why our family was treated differently. Was there some legitimate explanation that was never communicated to us? Was this simply extraordinary incompetence and poor management of the waitlist? Or was there another reason? I genuinely don't know. But the fact that your staff's handling of the situation left us even having to ask that question should concern management. We were patient. We were polite. We waited far longer than we were told we would. We stood outside with our toddler in nearly 100-degree weather and gave your staff every opportunity to make the situation right. Instead, we were met with indifference and a level of front-of-house incompetence that was astonishing. Restaurants get busy. Servers get overwhelmed. Wait estimates can be wrong. None of that explains why multiple parties arriving after us were seated first, why no one noticed or corrected it, why a family visibly accompanied by a toddler was offered a high-top, or why--after more than 45 minutes--no one seemed remotely interested in finding a reasonable solution. We ultimately didn't need special treatment. We expected competent treatment. We didn't receive it. Management should seriously review how the waitlist was handled today and speak with the front-of-house staff involved, because this was one of the most poorly managed and deeply uncomfortable restaurant experiences our family has had.

If you look at its operating hours then you are like, "what the heck?!" Who opens just Tuesday to Sunday, 5 to 9PM? That's a grand total of 24 hours a week! Well once you have their foods then you change your minds. The foods were super delicious. The elk sliders, the clam chowders, the filet mignon, and the prime steaks were all on point. Please double check that the steaks are not over cooked. The filet mignon was the only piece overcooked for us but the kitchen made up for it. It was also such a big piece of filet mignon that you normally cannot find everywhere. So we were definitely happy campers. It was kind of dry. he ordered some gravy to go on top and our waiter brought him out some and that made all the difference. Could also just be how we're used to eating meatloaf and my husband thinks every meat has to have a sauce. Lol He also got the French onion soup and thought it was absolutely amazing and scarfed down every bite of it. That was recommended to us by the waiter as one of his favorites. I got the filet mignon and chose to top it with truffle butter, I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly, nice and lean, and the truffle butter was done just right not over the top, paired perfectly with the steak. I would highly recommend that. We got the calamari which was nicely battered (lightly) It was cooked correctly, and they even added fried okra in with the pepper mix. That was something unique to me, but it actually paired perfectly and I really enjoyed it. The aïoli that came with it was delightful as well. So overall, we would definitely recommend this. It is nice on the inside, but I wouldn't say upscale suit and tie kind of place, I did feel a little out of place walking in there and hiking boots and sweat though.
