Don't waste your money on the facial treatments. I have purchased so many Obagi products (use them daily) that I was very excited to get a facial here. My stepmother was an esthetician..I started getting regular treatments in my teens, and I have consistently cared for my skin throughout my 20s and 30s. The Zo esthetician gave me an unrequested dermaplane treatment (I had no idea what she was doing). Out of all the microdermabrasion, hydrafacials, and peels I've gotten, I've never experienced a treatment like this dermaplane treatment. Basically, she shaved my face with a small blade. Not only did it take 1000 years (and was probably why the facial was so outrageously expensive--double the price), but as my hair grows back in, it is stiff and much darker. I am very, very fair (redhead) and now my invisible peach fuzz is coarse and reflects the light of the sun like stubble. So many people have commented on it. It's embarrassing. I'm angry that I paid for this treatment and am still dealing with the consequences two months later. And by consequences, I mean the short, stiff hair growth because there was absolutely no improvement to my skin. A huge waste of time and money. Very disappointing. read more

I recently went to ZO Pasadena after a long time and I had an unpleasant visit. I went to have a relaxing facial not to hear negative gossip in my service. Not to forget it is so dirty, the bathroom and the entire facility. I'm totally disappointed with the management from this place. I ask for the manager who eventually is never there except for the spa attendant who was ignoring me while she was on her phone. Unfortunately Willy is not there anymore and Connie took over my services. Now she is gone too :'( and I had to see Claudia who keeps gossiping about her coworkers and superiors. The towels she used on me were almost black. The headband had yellow stains and she is lazy to change the sheets after each treatment. Seriously!!!! I'm paying way enough to have everything sanitized. Claudia left marks on my skin after using a painful lancet on me. My face is red and I end up with broken capillaries. Now I have to pay more to fix my skin. My boyfriend got a hole at the tip of his nose just because she promise him to remove a wart with a hyfrecator. Then she blame us of using the wrong product. I have more than 15 yrs using this products and I never got holes on my skin. I'm never coming back to this location. Every time is a new story with this lady. Such a negative place around her. I'm surprised no one complains about her costumer service. She is very pushy and agressive when you question her knowledge. Nevertheless a friend of my who used to go to this location told me that she took the tips from Willy's services. Which employee would do such a shameful thing. I love Dr. Obagi's products! So when I heard that he came out with his new line Zo by Obagi I had to come in and check it out for myself. The clinic itself is very up beat and clean. I went in three weeks ago for the acne facial and I purchased their at home treatment products as well. So far my skin is clearing up. Claudia my esthetician ( Amazing how full of knowledge this woman is of her skin products! And funny too!) she calls me to check up on my skin 3 weeks post my first treatment. I told her I've become so dry after using the products, and she tells me that's what she intended to do because my face is naturally super oily. They were not pushy in making me buy products but she did suggest a multitude of products that would cost around 600 dollars to purchase.
