This is a food truck, so be sure to check website and social media for location updates! Social media led us here on a road trip to the DC. We called first to confirm location, and the customer service was great! So we pulled up. This time, the truck was located in the parking lot of a Home Depot. Plenty of space and parking. There were quite a few people ahead of us, and a constant flow of pickup orders, so we were prepared to wait. But, altogether it only took 30 mins from the time we waited until pickup. Lots of options on the menu, and more than fair prices. We tried the Zalmon & Zroccoli Zoagie (7/10) and also the Zrab & Zhrimp Zoagie (8/10). I dont know what kind of bread is used, but it's amazing! Buttery with a slight crunch to it. Mr. Ezell had great customer service and created a nice ambiance for his customers. Stopped here on my way from D.C. to Philly after a buddy of mine recommended them. The menu is LARGE which caught me by surprise. Almost everything starts with a Z so that took a little getting use to. I ordered the following Zhrimp Po Boy Crab Cakes 2 meat No Dough - Fish and Chicken The Shrimp Po boy had a delicious sauce. Honestly I had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life at this place. Elected for the crab and shrimp Zoagie. Good size and it came with French fries which were seasoned well. The location I enjoyed was in Delaware. Food was cooked to order. Served hot and delicious. I'm allergic to shrimp and it appears most meals are shrimp engulfed so I was nervous about eating anything else because of the chance of cross contamination. As for me I didn't experience any allergic reaction however I'd be cautious if you have severe allergic reactions to shrimp. . My allergies are not all seafood. I still like their food for the most part. And honestly I don't even like giving a lower review to this place since I want it to be successful. But I do feel like it's not as good of a deal now as it's expanded and become bigger. It was a great deal when it was 10 for a Zoagie tax included and 12 if you wanted fries. Now it's 16 minimum for the same thing but with fries included. I think the experience is trumping the product at this point and the novelty of being able to say you're getting a Zoagie with the focus on the bigger ticketed items. I would be okay if I felt there wasn't a dip in service/quality of food as well. I went the other night and there was hardly anyone there. Yet I STILL waited an hour. Not only this but my order was wrong. After waiting an hour you don't have the energy to correct issues like this so I did not even bother getting it fixed. The owner wasn't there, and I do feel things run better when he is there. Not only was it wrong but both my wife and I noticed a dip in the amount of protein stuffed in the sandwich as well. I think at the old price point mistakes like this is forgivable but I think at the current price point you expect more for a 5 star review. As others have said if you're okay with an inconsistent pricy experience I would say go to Zoagies often. At approximately 12:10 p.m. on May 26th I almost gave up on food trucks. I am so freaking happy I did not. This was an amazing zheesesteak. Deep-fried roll. Not hard crusty deep fried, good deep fried. Very good amount of nicely chopped good meat. A lot of meat needs a lot of cheese and this zheesesteak had a lot of cheese. The best part about the cheese is that it was melted on everything that was in this Zheesesteak. It came with fried onions and green peppers and they did not get lost in all of the wonderfulness. We visited the Zoagies truck on Marne Highway near Rancocas Woods, NJ. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We shared the zhicken and zhrimp monster with monster zries (chicken adn shrimp with fries). Rather pricey for a single sandwich but it was PLENTY to feed two people and quite reasonably priced that way. Both the sandwich and the fries were both quite delicious. I wish I could give 5 stars but the service still needs work. We drove 2 hours to get here. We got there at 3:30pm. Stood on line for 30 minutes. Placed our order at 4:08pm. We were told it would be an hour wait. They told us they would call us when our food is ready and that's why our phone number is on the receipt. We were okay with that till we went back to the window at 5:10pm and they didnt even start our order yet. I spoke to The owner and he admits that they were understaffed and the woman taking orders was in training. At 5:30pm, we were still waiting, it wasn't until 5:45pm that Ezell Barnes, the owner, went to the back to help the staff to cook the food. We Finally got our food after 6pm and FYI: they didn't call us via phone.Luckily, we were sitting by the window when they shouted out our names. It was a group of us. We ordered the Zochness Monster, fried oreos, the Triple Monster of the sea and french fries. The sandwich was huge and filled with fish, lobster, crab and shrimp, a seafood lover's dream. The bread was fried well. By the time we got our food, it was warm, not hot. The fries were seasoned well but nothing special. The fried oreos were good but not extraordinary. Unfortunately I would not return here until they are better organized and at a better location. While we were waiting the flies and mosquitoes were tearing us up. If you are nearby and dont mind the 2 hour wait, then go enjoy. But if you are more than an hour away, I would not recommend. 4 hours for a sandwich was not worth it.A few suggestions as someone who wants to continue to support Black owned businesses, please get more well-trained staff to work especially on the weekends when you know you will see a lot of people. Have better customer service. The person taking the orders shouldn't also be packing up and taking the money. From what I could see, you had ppl sitting on the cooler under the tent and 2 guys consistently working. I know Ezell wants to interact with the customers but if we are waiting for more than 2 hours, stop taking pictures and videos and help your staff cook the food to make the process go quicker. I had been following Zoagies on Instagram for a while and one day, I said what the heck and took the drive. I got the zrab and zhrimp collab. Man, it was good. It had an abundance of zrab and zhrimp in it. the portion is enough for two people. I ended up sharing mine with my mom because of how big it was and she loved it. You take seafood and magically put it together in a fried roll with a delicious special sauce. If you are ever in the area, check out this food truck. read more
