I would avoid getting a drink here. We have been here twice now and have sent drinks back. And have seen the bartender roll her eyes at us for doing so. As for the pizza, I don't love the menu options so I like to build my own. Went with a margherita the first time and liked it. Second time went with the Heim Time Supreme and was not a fan. The put jalapeños on it which it does not include. You can tell the quality of the dog of the pizza is good. I love the actual bread but i think the toppings could use some work. The environment is pretty good, neat place but the music is too loud I can't hear who I am talking too and some of the waiters aren't the nicest. Biggest disappointment for me is the strong and nasty drinks + rude bartender. So maybe stay clear or the bar in general unless you are getting beer/wine. read more

I've probably visited Zolis about 1/2 a dozen times and on each visit the food has been absolutely delicious and the service even better. On this visit there were gosh I think 20 of us for a friend's birthday. Jessica never flinched from us asking to rearrange the tables all the way until the checks were delivered without an automatic gratuity. Jessica did a fantastic job!! On this visit I started with a small house salad making my entree the smoked brisket lasagna since they only have it on Friday and Saturday evenings. The lasagna was served with focaccia bread which could have been warmer but considering the size of our party it was really no big deal. Note that the pasta dishes are limited and aren't made in house but from a place in Dallas. Seems to me like they'd get them from Cane Rosso on Magnolia since they're related but what do I know.:) I also grabbed some zucchini fries off a friend's plate. They are so good. I'd go just for them. The nuggz are mouth watering as well. That's their fried cheese. So the lasagna was good but I prefer traditional lasagna over that brisket flavor. I've had the Detroit style pizza which isn't my thing. Too thick for me. But their regular pizza is very good. They also have a great happy hour which also includes appetizers. They have a great outdoor area for the kids while you enjoy the covered patio. They have a private parking lot and street parking. Also curbside to go. Restrooms are clean. Zoli's is a sister to Cane Rosso. A much different atmosphere but somewhat familiar flavors in the pizza. Overall I enjoyed my experience here however if I had to choose, Cane Rosso has better tasting pizza. I personally liked the fun outdoor space at Zoli's though better. Either way it worth trying. We came as soon as they opened on a Sunday (11AM) and were seated immediately outside. I would suggest to come early if it's a beautiful day as they filled quickly. The outdoor space is great for kids to play and it looked like those that were there had lots of fun! Food: the zucchini fries were good, however I had expected them to be cut in quarters but they were more like shoestrings. This results in a bit more breading than squash. Flavor was great though and definitely recommend the homemade ranch to go alongside. We chose the Dope Sopp and Meat Fight round pizzas. The pizza was good but not great. It get like it was missing something to take it over the top. Maybe I need to try a different flavor or the square pizza. Like I said before and I'm not sure it's necessarily fair to compare, I would choose Cane Rosso pizza flavor wise. The staff was great, very helpful in explaining their pizzas and was attentive. Stopped in on a beautiful Sunday. Outside was packed with tons of kids and their families. Love the atmosphere of this place. I do not have small children, so we decided to eat inside and let the families run the outside. We had an AWESOME waiter, Stephen!! He explained everything to use on the menu, was very kind, quick, efficient and super friendly. A good sign for sure! We had the wedge salad, the White round pizza and the garlic knots. Late lunch on Memorial Day to check out the establishment as I'm seeking more kid-friendly places for kids. Great patio area for little kids to keep entertained while there are arcade games inside for the older ones. Sat at the bar and ordered a frozen margarita and the chicken supremo sandwich with fries. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. The service was missing the mark as there're flies swarming all around and one ended up dying and in my water. I was half way done with my meal when the bartender put a to-go box on the bar. There was not any offer for condiments for my fries. So I just kept eating...but otherwise overall, ok food and I expect my kids to be well-entertained dining here. read more

I placed a to-go order at 3:55pm at Zoli's for pick up at 4:30pm. I arrived at 4:25pm only to be told the3rd party company that takes to go orders flagged my credit card as fraudulent. The manager I spoke to said he tried to call me (at 4:15. 15 minutes after I placed the order). Instead if making my order and just charging my card (or another card) after I arrived, they cancelled my order. So I had to make a new order. My order was a Take and Bake pizza and an order of Pasta Carbonara. After 25 minutes of waiting, I had to get the bartender to check on my order because the manager had completely forgot about me. He came out with my order (a raw pizza and one pasta dish) and said it was the pasta carbonara that took so long! Not unless you're making pasta from scratch to order should it have taken so long. I have eaten there twice dine in and both times they were incredibly slow. Now with this f-up, I won't be back! read more

Another great pizza location! They have different pizzas to choose from and you can either choose to have it round pie or square pie. We like getting the square pie version when we order pizza from Zoli's, it's thicker square slices. Our favorites are the Meat Fight, Dope Sopp', Lady Marmalade, Lil Troy, CBR, and Honey Bastard. Their waffle fries are good too. We always do curbside pick up when we order pizza from here, just our preference. read more

Really cool new pizza place and I'm glad it took over a previously empty grass field. Parking lot is a fairly good size though I hear when it gets crowded, people overflow their parking into the streets which apparently has peeved a few of their neighbors. Came in during a weekday lunch and there was no wait and it wasn't busy however when I drive by in the evenings they look pretty packed. They has a nice outdoor play area for the kiddos and once you walk in, wait to be seated or they also have a full bar. The inside is a super modern with cool murals and pizza themed fun stuff. An overall great aesthetic to please the eye. There's a decent variety of items on the menu from sandwiches to pasta to different styles of pizzas(round or square pizza). We started out with the Cheese Blasters which is really cheesy focaccia. It was most definitely cheesy delicious. And then we ended up choosing a square Dope Sopp', which our server said was one of the more popular ones. Comes in nine slices and it was more than enough for 3 for lunch that included our appetizer. The pizza has a little kick to it but all the flavors meshed well together. soppressata was on point! Waited 30 minutes until our waitress took our order. Her attitude and demeanor seemed like she didn't want to be at work. After our app and pizza was ordered, we waited for another 30 minutes to get our appetizer. When it arrived, it was a cold and a soggy mess of butter-soaked and overly-garlic garlic knots. These knots should only be consumed for individuals who wish to remain single or for anyone who's surname is Helsing. The wife couldn't even swallow her first bite. The pizza came and it was burnt. I know that you should expect some burnt portions, and we see this at their sister restaurant Cane Rosso, but this was BURNT! Also, my wife got the Uncle Joe, which should be called The Shrek due to the amount of onions slopped on top and underneath the cheese. One of the things we enjoyed was seeing how long it would take for our waitress to clear our empty cups from the table. It was also fun to sit and wait another 20 minutes until someone came to ask us if we wanted a box or our check. Also, our waitress was not personable at all! Came in today to get an order to go, I sat at the bar, a nice waiter asked me if I wanted a drink, and I said yes some water, it's my first time here, can I get a menu? He said yes and got me water then it got crowded and I lost his attention, it took me a good 15 minutes to order and I was the only one sitting at the bar and he was the only bar tender! I ordered the Dope Shop square pizza (Tomato sauce, hot soppressata, creamy ricotta and soooersseta marmalade) great flavors, has a bit of a kick to it, but definatly fresh marinara sauce and buttery flake Crest full of love, and I totally reccomend it! I also ordered the Fat Staxx round shape (double ezzo pepperoni, mushrooms, hot cherry pepper ricotta, habanero honey) it was normal nothing stands out about this pizza!. I HATE DEEP DISH, DOES THIS LOOK LIKE CHICAGO TO YOU. That's how I feel about it at least, and maybe you feel the same if you've heard that this is a "deep dish pizza" place. But here's the caveat, this isn't like other deep dish type pizza you've have, it's not a hollow bowl of bread full of mariners sauce, it's a nice fluffy layer of bread that transports you to a heavenly realm. If you're visiting Zoli's I recommend getting the square pizza, if you want NY style/thinner pizza visit their sister restaurant Cane Rosso! (Or Kanye Rosa as some goofy people call it) read more

Torn a little between a four and five star, but the food so far has been so damn good I went with a five. Been a couple times, sat at bar both times. First visit midweek. Not very crowded. Ordered a pizza and had a couple of the Mezcal Margaritas. The Heim Time Supreme I ordered had a couple things on it I wasn't sure about, but I ordered it anyway. The drinks were served in a cocktail glass on the rocks (just the way I like it) and while not the style I usually go for, were really good in other ways. The second visit I went right back to the Mezcal margy's, they're growing on me quickly. Short wait my pizza is out and any misgivings I had about it disappeared. Really good pizza, I got the round thin crust pizza. It was good, and it was flavorful. I really enjoyed it. Second visit I had decided to try the burger since I'd heard about it from the Dallas location. Pretty simple, mainly meat and pickles with some cheese and a couple sauces. Usually hate waffle fries, but the ones I got had some really good seasoning that actually stayed on the fries. No ketchup needed. The burger was really good. I guess because of the lack of veggies or junk added on, it just had that simple, backyard burger, char taste. I will probably get this more than anything else on return visits. Staff was attentive and helpful both visits. Food came out pretty fast even though the second visit was a weekend night and it was pretty busy when I got there. Drinks are a little pricey (to me) at $10 each, the pizza was $19 and the burger $15. Went on a Sunday at noon. It was not crowded yet. Took 25 minutes to get my bar drink- glass of wine. When the rest of my party arrived they ordered and it took at least that long as well for theirs. Food took about an hour - that was a child's pizza as I ordered it when I sat down. Then I ordered my pizza about 10 minutes later, and it came with people's food who ordered 40 minutes later. We let the staff know we needed the table next to us as we were sat at a table that was smaller than our group, which was fine, as they weren't all here and the other table was leaving soon you could see. Issue came when we ended up having to move the table ourselves AND BUS THE TABLE after we literally asked 3 times. Food isn't bad, but based on the service I'll choose to go somewhere else next time unfortunately. read more

I ordered a pizza from Zoli's Hulen St location last night and, while all of the components of great pizza were present, the pizza itself was simply not cooked enough. The center was limp and the toppings just slid off. I've heard great things about Zoli's pizza and was looking forward to a great NY pizza experience (I'm originally from that area and know what great pizza can be), especially with the lack or any great NY pizza in the area. I think they can get there - attention to detail is needed. Thanks. I will continue to look for that great, true NY pizza experience. (Side note: Italy in Arlington is the closest I've come - give them a try.) I'm Writing this review so that hopefully something changes because I do like this place . But yesterday the food was so far below mediocre. I probably won't ever go back . We had a table of 13 and ordered a lot of food for the most part the pizzas were decent nothing amazing but the fried zucchini Sticks were so bad soggy and soaked in grease we didn't even eat them , the ceasar salad I ordered as my app also was 100% soggy warm and the lettuce was weathered . It was pretty bad . The dressing tasted like warm ranch . Besides the fact that the air conditioner must have been out cause it was 80 degrees inside . Service was great though! This is a really nice place to get brick oven pizza. The prize is a little steep but the pizza is really good and their flavor combinations are on point.
