Z Pizza has it going on... We order there over the weekend and will certainly be returning. They're big on cleanliness, social distancing, AND FLAVOR! We got the bacon spinach mushroom and it was big enough to feed our family of 4 for dinner, then lunch. We will be returning. (I took my face mask off for the picture)

The customer service makes this place deserve one star. They give the option to place an order ahead and then when you show up you have to wait another 20-25 minutes for you pizza, despite placing the order over 4 hours ago. I guess they just prioritize walk ins and other orders before online. Staff was overall unfriendly and mostly standing up front talking and on their cell phones, while two cooks made everything. This photo was taken in January.(referring to the comment by the owner)

ZJalapeno (Small). Great flavor with a nice touch of heat from the jalapeños but the avocado crema levels it out.

Called in an order for take out this evening. I was told it would be ready in about 25 minutes which was great and I was pleased that it was ready upon my arrival. Very fresh. Generous amount of fresh toppings. Salad was a large portion and likely suitable for 2 people. I really appreciate their menu items. It's a good selection that caters to lovers of a simple pizza or those who want something more elevated. Price, portions, service and taste all on point!

    $40 for this???

Gave them a second chance and was disappointed. Buffalo wings and a not so large pizza for $40, helllll nah. Costco pizza is just as good, bigger, and 9 bucks, not saying it's a super authentic Italian pizza but this ain't either. Most family owned chains do well, the Z pizza in Long Beach, much better. I also didn't know Door Dash would be delivering pizza, maybe that's why it was $40, either way second chances and I'm out.

We initially had a negative experience, but We decided to try this location again. The manager was gracious enough to apologize and invite us back in to make it right. We ordered a large gluten free pepperoni pizza for pickup. After trying the regular pizza and the gluten free pizza, I have to say, the gluten free wins by a long shot. They have some really good pizza here! My second experience was great. I believe the previous feedback I left helped to make this location better.

Coupon we received that had expired almost 6 years ago.

So this isn't for the pizza, which I've had before and is good, but not a place we normally order from. However, after we received a coupon for $5 off yesterday, which was handed out at the Ladera Easter event at Cox Park, we figured we'd order from them. But the coupon didn't work. Upon closer inspection, it is probably because they provided a coupon that expired in 2015. Such a shame. We ended up getting a pizza from Sal's.

the vegan sausage and regular sausage

really disappointed with zpizza. ordered three different pizzas and one was vegan. it said vegan all over the box when i picked it up. got home, we started eating, only to notice there were two different looking sausages on the pizza. we didnt think anything of it at first; wasnt sure if it was two different brands of vegan sausage until we tasted it. it was pork. actual sausage. who makes a vegan pizza with vegan cheese and vegan sausage to add on regular sausage as well?! you can see in the picture but it was actually arranged WITH the vegan sausage. whoever made the pizza put both on there. how disgusting! as someone who also doesnt eat pork for religious reasons this is so beyond gross

Worst BBQ pizza I've ever had the displeasure of eating. Fake chicken, flavorless sauce, and what tasted like fake cheese.

Cold, old pizza in the single serve warmer at noon on a Friday. Yuck!!! They must not get a lunch rush here. Won't be coming back.

Best Alfredo I've ever had. Full bottles of wine, pasta made in a cheese wheel-can't ask for more. I've found a new go-to spot!

Zesty Olive is quick service restaurant built around one very good idea, fresh fettuccine, extruded…read moreright in front of you, then tossed into a massive wheel of Italian Parmesan until it becomes a rich, glossy Alfredo style pasta. And it starts at ten bucks. That's a ridiculous bargain. In a white tablecloth Italian restaurant, the same cheese wheel theater could easily run north of thirty dollars, probably delivered by someone wearing an apron cleaner than your kitchen towels. You can add chicken and other toppings, but I went with the three flavor pasta trio, served on a wooden plank. It's visually impressive, filling, and compared with most quick-service food these days, a genuinely respectable value. There is, however, one important thing to understand before walking through the door, everything begins with Alfredo. Pesto, tomato, and the other flavors are added afterward, but the creamy cheese sauce is the foundation. If Alfredo isn't your thing, this probably isn't your place. My wife is firmly in that camp, so she ordered a salad. That's where the operation started to wobble. The lettuce was wilted, and the green goddess dressing had an odd, unpleasant flavor. We also ordered pita bread, which appeared to have been removed from a plastic bag, cut into pieces, and dropped onto a plate without heat, seasoning, or much thought. It was cold, slightly stale, and depressing. The frustrating part is that both problems are easy to fix. Toast the pita. Brush it with olive oil. Add a little salt and herbs. Treat the salad like someone might actually be excited to eat it. The pasta trio, though? Solid. Rich, satisfying, and an excellent deal. Judging by the packed dining room on a Friday night, plenty of other people have reached the same conclusion. Zesty Olive has the Alfredo pasta experience down. Add one genuinely good olive oil based pasta for people who don't want the cream and cheese, and bring the salads and sides up to the same standard as the main attraction. Do that, and they may have a real winner.
