    Cheese free gluten free pizza

I came in to pick up dinner so I chose the gluten-free cheese chicken pizza. $30 Cheese free gluten free pizza looks good! Olivia is very sweet and made me feel like my order wasn't totally weird or special needs lol

The pizza was good. It would have probably tasted better if it wasn't cold but that was my fault. It took a while to find parking at the beach so it got cold. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Pets aren't allowed inside restaurants, and "locals" are not above the rules.

I used to love coming to this place until what happened last time we were there. This event I'm describing below took place before the mask mandate at restaurants was lifted. Already at the entrance, there were signs requiring the use of masks. Even the employee told us to wear masks (which we did). However, as we were waiting, I noticed that the employee would allow other customers to come in without wearing masks. And by customers, I don't mean one random individual who orders and sits outside. I mean... a huge family of 8-10 people coming in all at the same time. By then, we were eating inside the restaurant (obviously, without masks) while this group of people made their order. Not cool, but ooookay. Couple of minutes later, a lady comes in without a mask and with her dog. (Yes, inside the restaurant). She then sits to eat her slices at the table with her dog on her lap. Last time I checked, pets were not allowed in restaurants. Not only it was bothersome that the dog was yapping every 5 seconds, but it was a clear violation of the health and safety code. I approached the employee to ask him why they were allowing some people to come inside without wearing masks. When all of the sudden, the lady with the dog jumped into the conversation and began yelling at me. She was upset that I was questioning the fact that some people were allowed to come in without wearing a mask (again, I was talking to the employee, not her). She even yelled at me the following: "Get out of MY town! Go back to the town you came from!" Her yelling escalated quickly, so I pulled out my phone to record her just in case. And in case you were wondering, I never said a word to her. She continued yelling us to leave (though she ain't the owner) to the point where she ended up pushing me and trying to pull my phone off my hand. Yup! She's ready for the Maury show! Though her behavior is clearly independent to the business, the fact that nobody cared to enforce basic health rules is a huge concern. Nobody from Z pizza asked her to stop yelling, to calm down or to leave when she was disruptive to others nor to wear a mask or to leave the dog outside. From allowing a non-service dog to come in and sit at the table to letting many customers come in without their masks while the mask mandate is in full force (Like it or not, agree or disagree, believe or not believe, those are the rules) is unacceptable, careless, and discriminatory. A huge disappointment!

Has been going downhill pre-pandemic. Used to be the "go to" place for pizza. No longer.

Such a yummy pizza place! Went with a group of girl friends and we got some cute pictures (thank…read moreyou to our hostess) and delicious food out of this place. We ordered a ton--garlic knots, wedge salad, two round pizzas (champion and umami mushroom) and a square pizza (smoky vodka). I enjoyed it all. The garlic knots were fine, but nothing special, would skip if you were already iffy on ordering. The wedge salad was also highly rated, but it was okay in my opinion too. Good to try once, but not a must have for me, a little too dressed up for my liking. I did try the spagnola salad at the Laguna Beach location and enjoyed it more, maybe because it tastes lighter. The pizzas though, were spectacular! Truly Pizza definitely deserves the high rating. The crust and pizza dough are cooked to perfection. My recommendation is to carefully read and choose toppings you know you'd enjoy for sure. While I enjoyed the round pizzas, I did not like the umami mushroom as much (maybe because I don't love and didn't realize there would be sesame seeds on pizza). The champion was a classic and the smoky vodka was delicious! The square pizza was fluffy, but not too doughy where it felt like I was just straight up eating bread. The side of ranch is here is also a must if you usually like dipping your pizza. Overall--great ambiance, excellent service, and excellent food. Would come back!

They open their reservations 30 days ahead and I definitely recommend getting a reservation since they usually book up, including weekdays! We came here on a Wednesday and it was packed. Not sure if everyone knows but there was a hidden parking lot behind the restaurant. It seemed like everyone did street parking. We ordered their famous champion tomato and cheese and the la foresta. Both pizzas were excellent. The champion cheese was really awesome. You can really taste the fresh tomatos and cheese. The crust was super crackly. They definitely nailed the crispiness. The la foresta had a nice dollop of ricotta on each slice that helped with the balance of the richness. Get the soft serve at the end of the meal! The issue was that the pizzas were super crispy and chewy that your jaw starts hurting to the point that you get kind of sore. However, I think it's totally a preference thing. There was also a wait of 25 min for your pizza since it was really busy. Aside from that, the service was excellent. Our server took really good care of us. Also, even though this was outdoor seating only, this spot was beautiful. They have lemon vines around and lots of great lighting inside. We'll definitely want to be back but probably when the hype of this place dies down a bit.

Gina's Pizza in Laguna is exactly the kind of spot you hope to stumble on after a day at the beach…read more- casual, friendly, and serving seriously satisfying pies. The crust is that perfect middle ground: thick enough to have some chew, but still crisp around the edges, so it holds up under all the toppings without getting soggy. The sauce tasted fresh and tangy, and they don't skimp on the cheese or the meat, which makes every slice feel hearty and filling. The pizza we ordered came out piping hot with plenty of sausage and other toppings spread evenly across the whole pie, not just in the middle. Each slice had a good balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings, so you're not fighting over the "good pieces." It's the kind of pizza that's easy to share, but also dangerous because you just keep going back for one more slice. On top of that, the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. It's easy to grab a table, share some pizza, and just relax with friends or family. If you're in Laguna and craving a classic, no-nonsense pizza that hits the spot, Gina's is a solid choice.

I got a vegan margarita and he had a veggie pizza. The girls shared a small cheese pizza and I probably should have ordered them a smaller size pizza because we had plenty of leftovers. I loved my margarita pizza and he said his pizza was good too. My girls enjoyed their pizza as well. I loved that the pizza was hot and the cheese was melted perfectly on my pizza, hubby's cheese on his pizza half wasn't fully melted but it was still good. The girls ordered a lemonade and hubby and I had a beer. The only downside was that it was SO hot inside and while there is outdoor seating, it's not child safe (all barstools). They really need to keep the doors open to allow the ocean breeze. One other note, the booth by the bathroom--- you could smell the bathroom from the booth. Yuck! Other than that, service was friendly and the vegan pizza was SOO good!

It was a very humid out, so we opted to get a table inside. Unfortunately, sitting inside was not much of a relief. I assume they had no A/C. Jen opted for the Linguine Marechiaro and I chose the Baked Housemade Ziti. Jen liked her dish, but after seeing a documentary on octopus decided to give the ones in her dish to me, which I enjoyed. I found my pasta a bit tough and was a different spin on other baked ziti dishes I've had. However, the meatballs underneath the pasta were excellent. The service was a bit inconsistent. Not sure if they were understaffed but when ordering, our questions were met with short and mostly unresponsive answers and when closing the check, we had to request a to go box, then a second request for a carry out bag. I would have liked to give this place a higher rating, but feel 3/5 accurately grades our dining experience.
