    Cheese free gluten free pizza

I came in to pick up dinner so I chose the gluten-free cheese chicken pizza. $30 Cheese free gluten free pizza looks good! Olivia is very sweet and made me feel like my order wasn't totally weird or special needs lol

The pizza was good. It would have probably tasted better if it wasn't cold but that was my fault. It took a while to find parking at the beach so it got cold. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Pets aren't allowed inside restaurants, and "locals" are not above the rules.

I used to love coming to this place until what happened last time we were there. This event I'm describing below took place before the mask mandate at restaurants was lifted. Already at the entrance, there were signs requiring the use of masks. Even the employee told us to wear masks (which we did). However, as we were waiting, I noticed that the employee would allow other customers to come in without wearing masks. And by customers, I don't mean one random individual who orders and sits outside. I mean... a huge family of 8-10 people coming in all at the same time. By then, we were eating inside the restaurant (obviously, without masks) while this group of people made their order. Not cool, but ooookay. Couple of minutes later, a lady comes in without a mask and with her dog. (Yes, inside the restaurant). She then sits to eat her slices at the table with her dog on her lap. Last time I checked, pets were not allowed in restaurants. Not only it was bothersome that the dog was yapping every 5 seconds, but it was a clear violation of the health and safety code. I approached the employee to ask him why they were allowing some people to come inside without wearing masks. When all of the sudden, the lady with the dog jumped into the conversation and began yelling at me. She was upset that I was questioning the fact that some people were allowed to come in without wearing a mask (again, I was talking to the employee, not her). She even yelled at me the following: "Get out of MY town! Go back to the town you came from!" Her yelling escalated quickly, so I pulled out my phone to record her just in case. And in case you were wondering, I never said a word to her. She continued yelling us to leave (though she ain't the owner) to the point where she ended up pushing me and trying to pull my phone off my hand. Yup! She's ready for the Maury show! Though her behavior is clearly independent to the business, the fact that nobody cared to enforce basic health rules is a huge concern. Nobody from Z pizza asked her to stop yelling, to calm down or to leave when she was disruptive to others nor to wear a mask or to leave the dog outside. From allowing a non-service dog to come in and sit at the table to letting many customers come in without their masks while the mask mandate is in full force (Like it or not, agree or disagree, believe or not believe, those are the rules) is unacceptable, careless, and discriminatory. A huge disappointment!

I absolutely love Oto Sushi in Laguna Beach! As someone who's been living with celiac disease for…read morethe past five years, it's been incredibly difficult finding restaurants that offer flavorful, truly gluten-free options. Oto exceeded all of my expectations. Their menu is almost entirely gluten-free, with the only exception being the bun on their specialty burger, which made ordering stress-free and enjoyable. It's rare to find a place that prioritizes both safety and incredible flavor, and Oto does both exceptionally well. I'll definitely be back!

The only reason I'm giving one star is…read morebecause our waiter was attentive enough to notice I hadn't touched my lychee martini at all and kindly removed it from the bill. The martini tasted completely artificial and was undrinkable. We ordered the spicy tuna hand roll, which was just okay. The two pieces of uni tasted overly fishy. The Scorch Roll was overwhelmingly spicy--I honestly don't know what they're making their spicy mayo with, but it completely overpowered the roll. The Chef's Roll was decent, but nothing memorable. The cucumber salad had a very strong citrus flavor, so only order it if that's something you enjoy. We also ordered the shishito peppers, and they came with only four peppers on skewers, which was surprising for the price. To make matters worse, the ginger and soy sauce weren't brought out until after all of our sushi had already arrived. They also don't carry Diet Coke. The funny part is that they have a sign out front claiming they're "Orange County's #1 Voted Sushi." Based on our experience, that claim was hard to believe. Overall, we spent about $170, and it honestly felt like money down the drain. The food and overall experience did not justify the price, and I wouldn't return.

The brunch was excellent and I highly recommend the chilaquiles (add the pulled pork!) and the cinnamon bun. The service and ambiance were top notch. And I truly believe that they are not really made out to be a full-service restaurant as much as I like their dedication and drive. I had a reservation at 7 pm. I checked in at 6:45 pm. At 7:25 pm, they brought us in and did not have a table ready for us. They made a table then after a table left 15 minutes later, they rearranged us. I do not understand why you offer reservations if you will not actually honor the system. Around 8 pm, we asked if we could order as they had only brought water. Listen I understand. You're closing soon. You only had 1 server for the entire restaurant the weekend of Valentines. You have to go lean on the busiest last weekend ..? I don't actually understand. When all came to, they were not offering dessert because "they were saving it for Valentine's Day". No notification about when their kitchen closed and no asks if anybody wanted to order for to-go. On top of that, everyone did not have free parking and had to pay upon exit even with validation. You will do great as a ghost kitchen since the food was good and everyone enjoyed it. If you come back as a full service, I would seriously reconsider how you do business.

Feeling particularly hungry and scrolling through my DoorDash app in search of something that would…read moretantalize my taste buds beyond the usual options of gluten-free pizza or burgers, I stumbled upon a restaurant with a bold and captivating name: "F$CK GLUTEN." The audacity of the name piqued my curiosity immediately, and I felt compelled to explore their menu in greater detail. As I delved into their offerings, I was pleasantly surprised to discover a diverse array of gluten-free salads, bowls, and desserts that were sure to make my mouth water. Among the options, I found myself particularly drawn to the gluten-free fried chicken bowl, a dish that promised a delightful experience. This bowl featured crispy ginger garlic fried chicken, which was not only gluten-free but also seemed to boast a unique blend of flavors. It came with your choice of base, allowing for a personalized touch, along with three sides that were thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall meal. The dish was finished off with a sprinkle of green onions, a dusting of sesame seeds, and a refreshing lemon wedge, all served alongside a gluten-free sauce of your choice. The base options were impressive, offering a selection that included jasmine rice, brown rice, cauliflower rice, or sweet potato noodles. Each base provided a different texture and flavor profile, allowing for a customized dining experience. The three sides you could choose from were equally enticing, featuring a range of delicious options such as sesame kale slaw, roasted sweet potatoes, corn salad, roasted broccoli, roasted mushrooms, chili-dusted pineapple, cucumber salad, pickled onions, avocado, jammy egg, and kimchi. Additionally, the restaurant offered the flexibility to add extra proteins, ranging from more fried chicken to sesame tofu, for a nominal fee of about $5 to $8, depending on your selection. You could also opt for additional sides and sauces for a minimal charge, making it easy to tailor your meal to your liking. If sesame seeds or green onions weren't your thing, the option to have them omitted was a thoughtful touch that showcased the restaurant's attention to customer preferences. To round off your meal, the restaurant provided a choice of a gluten-free dark chocolate brownie or a rice crispy treat, both of which came pre-packaged from an external vendor, ensuring a sweet conclusion to your dining experience. After careful consideration, I ultimately decided on the cucumber salad, jasmine rice, roasted broccoli, and pickled onions to complement my fried chicken bowl. The combination of flavors and textures was something I was looking forward to enjoying. The restaurant prepared my order with impressive speed, and as soon as the DoorDash delivery arrived, I could hardly contain my excitement. I eagerly dug into my bowl, and I must say, the chicken was nothing short of delicious. It was packed with flavor and had a delightful crunch, although I did find it to have a bit of a spicy kick that added an extra layer of depth to the dish. The sides were equally impressive; even the usually bland broccoli that tends to be an afterthought in many meals was transformed into a flavor-packed delight that I genuinely enjoyed. So impressed was I with the offerings from this restaurant that just a few days later, I decided to try their gluten-free steak bowl, opting for the same sides that had complemented my previous meal so well. While the steak was undoubtedly tender and bursting with flavor, I found myself a little disappointed by the serving size, especially when considering the price point. It left me wanting more, and I ultimately decided that my future orders would likely lean towards the fried chicken, which had truly won me over with its robust taste and satisfying portion. I have found a new favorite restaurant that caters specifically to those of us who need to follow a medically necessary gluten-free diet, offering tasty dishes at affordable prices. It's a refreshing change after years of settling for bland and unappealing food. I strongly suggest you try them out and say F$ck Gluten!
