Through a warranty ZZ appliance had come out numerous times to my house. Always had great customer service, something has changed. Had to order part months ago. Now as of today I cannot reach them to see if the part has come in I have left four messages in the last two weeks and no one has called me back , I'm beginning to think they closed up shop. I had a scheduled appointment for today (6/21) from 9-4 to fix a washing machine at an apartment building. I received an email confirmation of the appointment. I called the office this morning at 8:45, spoke with a very nice guy (sorry, I don't remember his name) and asked him to please confirm they have our property on the schedule. He said the computer was working a little slow and asked if he could place me on a brief hold. I was on hold for 18 minutes and decided he must have forgotten about me. I called back and received a recording that said "please press 1 to leave a message." I pressed 1 and the recording said "the voicemail is full". I called on three different occasions throughout the day and never received a "live person" and the couldn't leave a voicemail. They say customer service is their top priority. I do not recommend calling ZZ Appliance for any work - they never showed up to fix the washing machine and never communicated anything to me. read more

Something weird is happening with this company that I had a positive experience with many months ago. They have not answered their phone in days and you cannot leave a message. I probably accidentally got someone on the phone on Monday and he promised me a quick response. Have not heard from him - Zane- at all. I think they have severe internal problems. Thank you ZZ Appliance Repair! I called ZZ Appliance Repair because my dishwasher was not draining. ZZ's technician, William, arrived promptly, answered all my questions, and thoroughly explained what he was doing to triage the problem. After much investigation and trial and error, William was able to determine the root cause of the problem...faulty hoses installed by the dishwasher installer. William replaced the hoses, replaced the drain pump, and tested thoroughly to ensure the problem was fixed. I cannot say enough good things about ZZ Appliance repair! The office communicated with me about my appt, and William was EXCEPTIONAL! He called prior to arriving, was courteous and respectful in my home, worked diligently to solve the problem, and referenced other colleagues when needed. William went the extra mile! Horrible communication experience. They have not returned phone calls or texts. They were the contractor assigned by a home warranty company. The initial assessment of appliance issues went very well. That was the first week in December. I've been told by the home warranty company that ZZ is no longer one of there sub-contractors. Yet I get a text from ZZ in April saying that they have all of the parts and when would be a good time to install them. In the meantime the home warranty company has sent a different sub-contractor. Apparently ZZ and the home warranty company are not communicating well either. read more

I wish I could tell you how the technicians are but I could not get one to come out in the 4-5 months I have had a warranty repair scheduled with them. Kitchen aid scheduled a repair for my dishwasher with zzs appliances and the part was backordered (not zzs fault) the part was shipped to zzs with tracking number I believe it was April 10th and now almost July I can't get a hold of them nor can KitchenAid. The one time I have gotten a hold of them they say we never received it but they won't call back to get it done and KitchenAid has refused until today to switch providers to repair. I have called this place easily 12 times and never once have I had someone pickup and most of the time when I try to leave a message the messages are full and can't leave a message. read more

ZZ's came back last week to service the dishwasher again. They fixed the steam heat dryer after a few hours of fiddling with the control panel. It was another $60 plus time for service. But still cheaper than purchasing a new appliance. read more

We have had very POOR communication from this company! They no call no showed for an appointment and will not return our calls. Came out on april 6th and told us our dishwasher was unrepairable and the parts for a repair are not available and that they are not made - whirlpool disagrees and says it is Repairable. ZZ's was supposed to show up on april 29th and never showed up. We left several messages - they finally got back to us about 2 weeks later and said they would get the part and be back in touch - we have not heard from them since and they will not return phone calls. A little communication goes a long way. If you value your time we would recommend another company. read more

Would not recommend ZZ's Appliance Repair. I made my appointment on a Tuesday and they were unable to get here until Friday, OK. Come Friday the repair guy calls and said he will be here at 1:40. 1:40 Nothing. I talk to him at 2:00, he said he need the unit number, ok so I gave him my unit number. Then he said he would be here at 3:00, ok. Come 4:00 o'clock the guy still is not here so I called. He was going on how he had been trying to call me for 20 mins and he sent me a picture of the door he was at via text. I Got Nothing. He proceeded to get mad at me, he basically called me a liar and told me to find another service provider. Not sure what happened but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Great service! We had a problem with our refrigerator and needed someone out quick. We called them and the tech was there that day and quickly found the problem and fixed it right then. Both the tech (Zach!!!) and the office were professional and courteous. If we have any appliance issues (I hope I don't), I will definitely call them again. I highly recommend them. read more

I ended up being surprised at the price. I bid out my appliance repair over the phone. Other shops said $250, while these guys said they charge $80 to come out and can often fix the problem for that alone. The tech was on time and professional, but he knew from the minute he stepped in that $80 wasn't going to cover it. A job that took him 45 minutes cost me $280 - which is more than the other shops quoted. These guys were never dishonest, but, compared to the other shops I called, they were less forthcoming and a bit more expensive. I ended up feeling like they did their $80 spiel to get in the door; if they'd transparently quoted me their actual price, I would have gone with someone else. read more

ZZ Appliance was my assigned vendor from Xcel energy for my refrigerator repair agreement. I made an appointment with Courtney and their technician, William, arrived on time. He immediately diagnosed the problem. As it always seems to be with appliance repairs, a part needed to be ordered to complete the repair. Due to the pandemic supply chain delay, it took a little time for ZZ to receive the necessary part...... Nobody's fault. Courtney kept me in the loop until the part finally arrived. She seems like a very kind and thoughtful person. Sophia too. When William returned, he called ahead and arrived on time. He was quite personable and after masking up and putting on booties, he went right to work. The new part was missing a small piece (shocking) so William did a quick but thorough wiring repair and ordered the missing part, just to be on the safe side. I have complete confidence that his 'temporary' fix would probably last permanently, but appreciate him making that extra effort to ensure that I will have no future problems. I'm also confident that if problems do arise, not only with my fridge but any other appliances, I can count on ZZ Appliances to resolve my problem. read more
