There are two bars - cider bar and beer bar. They are separated by the patio area and both have different vibes, which is really cool. The music was nice when I was there. There are also screens with sports playing, which is a big bonus. The calendar on their website also shows all the events and even the food vendors, which is convenient. I had the pilsner and it was delicious. Haven't tried the ciders yet but definitely looks good, and it's something you don't see often. There is a small parking lot but also street parking in the area if anything.

We were informed by security at the front that our 2-year-old could come in but only if he was held the entire time, and if he was caught walking around we would be asked to leave. They're very dog friendly, but beware if your dog isn't a fan of cats or if you're allergic as they do have cats that freely roam the premises. The beer was fine. If you're a fan of lighter beers I would recommend Homage Brewing, Arrow Lodge, or Angel City (soon to close), all of which are in the area and are very kid and dog friendly. Additionally there is extremely limited parking available in the area, so be prepared to pay $20 for valet.

Apparently they mainly cater to private parties, but I think they are changing their format around and trying different ideas. Parking is all on the street, but for now it was easy to find a spot. Interestingly enough, there is the cider bar place, siesta day club, but attached inside was Dear Mama LA that served food. I didn't realize this until I walked in and ordered and asked about it. It's an all organic pop up place inside of siesta day spa. I got a cafe de olla and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee is very good! The sandwich, a tad more salty than I prefer, but that is my personal choice. They have a detached grill that they cook on, so I think that is why my order may have taken a bit longer than usual, but that was not a problem. :) The siesta day club part was huge inside. From the outside, it looks small, but when you walk in, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Jose was someone that I briefly talked to behind their cider bar. Extremely friendly person!!! Found out that they make their own hard cider! Everyone there is extreme friendly!!! Service was fantastic! When they get there hours more established, I'll be going there again!

AMBIANCE: Parking: Street parking, it's competing with a park that can be pretty eventful so it can be easy or it can be difficult. Seating: Indoor seating or private cabana set ups for groups. Room for a total of 100 people. Feels: This was interesting. It's not in the heart o the skyscrapers of LA but moreover in the outer end. It's hidden in a factory/storage setup in LA and right across from LA Historic Park. The place makes you feel like you're no longer in Los Angeles. You're welcomed with EDM/Tropical music and a beach/island setup. You have cabanas set up, their surfboards for decor, and colored tile floors. Great place to lounge out and host gatherings. FOOD: Charcoal Froze (Recommend) A good mix of elderberry, orange, and agave. Sweet and pretty subtle. I got a good buzz from this. Cactus Rose Froze (Recommend) This is your selection if you're looking for something tart and sour. I enjoyed the tarty sweetness from the cactus pear and it was well-slushed. The slushy gives it a nice hint of orange. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Garrett was a good dude. TL; DR OVERALL: 4.5 Stars! I've never really gone to a day bar but this was a cool experience. Reasonable prices (about $6), good selections, and a good vibe. I'm sure my experience would be different if I struggled with parking or it was excessively crowded but this was a cool gem. TIPS: * Great cider selections but they don't serve food, only snacks so if you're planning to fill your stomach, check out the local eateries!

This small and…read moreintimate tasting room specializes in high-quality, small-batch mead and cider, with rotating seasonal flavors that keep things fun. From dry to semi-sweet to fruity or spiced, there's something for everyone. Standouts include their crisp hibiscus cider, traditional mead, and unique barrel-aged options. The space is small, but welcoming, with knowledgeable staff who love to share what they do. It's a great place to try authentic cider and mead. If you don't know where to begin, ask for recommendations based of your palate. They've got a dog-friendly patio, which is a huge plus, and there's plenty of parking, making it super easy to stop by. The patio is shaded and covered by passionfruit vines. There's even an apple tree too! Raging also hosts a variety of events, like trivia nights and food truck pairings, that make each visit a little different. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!), it's well worth the visit. Support a local, family-oriented business doing something unique, and doing it well! Check their hours, since they are only open Friday through Sunday.

Luckily, there was a festival to join them in celebrating the rebirth that Spring brings with music, food, libations, and more...a great time to be had by all. I love that the owners are commited to only locally sourced apples, pears, honey, and other fruit as well as committed to showing love to "ugly" and overproduced fruit which would normally go to waste to instead help financially support farmers. This meadery and cidery is easy to get to...take the Las Posas Exit on the 78 and off of Furniture Row. There's tons of parking. Once inside, I noticed it's an intimate venue with a down-to-earth vibe. There's seating between the tasting room and outdoor patio. Importantly, the staff is very welcoming. I had a MERRY good time! They have a nice back area with a nice outdoor patio. A great place to chill and enjoy your drinks. Service here was pretty good when you order and she did come by to take our trash from our food order. Milk and honey had that creamy sweetness (not overly sweet) High and dry reminds me of a white wine with the crisp apple notes Kombucha here is not sour. How time flies.....Its has been wonderful to see this location grow with the diversity of their offerings and the quality of their products. I am a traditionist with it comes to ciders so I like it dry and apply forward- but I branched out this time, at the suggestion of the employee, and was surprised to find out that I can enjoy mead and Kombucha just as much. At Apiary, they offered some non sweet mead and Kombucha drinks. The flavors of the offering were spot on and not fake tasting due to the natural ingredients. The Apiary is definitely worth a visit to kick back and relax with a good drink....
