    Whipped ricotta corn dip

We stopped in for happy hour at 101 Beer Kitchen and everything we ordered was SO good! We tried the whipped ricotta corn dip, loaded tots, and pretzels with beer cheese, and honestly, we couldn't pick a favorite! Everything was perfect for sharing. Such a great happy hour spot in Fishers!

I visited here with about 6 friends for the Devour menu. It was my first time in so I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. To start, our waitress was so friendly, and timely as well. I wish I could remember her name because she rocked! I got an espresso martini to keep my energy up after a long day. I went with the devour menu because it was a great deal and was sooo not disappointed! Every dishes I had packed a punch of flavors! That scotch egg had a beautiful kick to it, the Mahi Mahi with grits was a perfect comfort dish and was delicious, and then the creamy smooth dessert! Very impressed. I came right before the hockey game and it was nice to see a lot of other hockey fans there as well. I'll be back for sure!

Landed in Indy and needed to eat before an appointment. Searched Google for places in Fishers and found 101 Craft Kitchen. So glad we came here. The food was awesome. My husband and I split a salad, he had crab cakes for his meal, I tried the croquettes and risotto balls. Everything was so tasty. We finished the meal with the peach butter cake. OMG! So good!!! I highly recommend eating here. Our server was Kimy and the GM is Jeff. They are the best!!

We had our first visit here during Devour Indy's Summer Fest. Long story short: WE LOVED IT! 1. Kids meals are a deal! They are $8 and come with a main, two sides, a drink, and a dessert. My kids got cheeseburgers and Mac and cheese and highly recommended it. 2. My husband ordered the Nashville chicken with pimento cheese and hot honey. If you could see the face he made when he bit into the burger, pure joy! He also had a side or Parmesan fries and Nashville chips with a ranch dip. 3. I ordered from the devour meal, which meant a 3 course meal for one price: A salad, jumbo shrimp pasta, and key lime parfait. Every dish was delicious! The staff was great! They checked on us frequently, refilled our drinks constantly and were ready to help with any request. I'm excited to come back for a girls night to try their happy hour specials at the bar next!

Our first visit here and a success! Our server, Amaya, was so kind and attentive. Our food came out fast and was delicious. The noise isn't bad at all, you can talk at normal volume and not feel like you are yelling. I got the lemon pepper chicken sandwich and my only issue was that it felt under seasoned. However, it was still great and filling.

Had a family dinner here and loved it! Great food, good drinks, and an overall lovely experience. Definitely a spot we'll return to!

We had the Butternut Squash Soup to start then the Pecan Chicken for the main course. The pecan chicken is a very hearty portion! I liked the flavor and it's paired with mashed potato's and green beans. My only critique is I didn't like the green beans on the bottom as they got all soggy from the chicken, potato's and sauce on top. I would order this dish again, but have them place the green beans on the side. The bar tender was very nice and attentive and the manager even stopped by to check to make sure everything was good which I appreciate.

Went to 101 Craft Kitchen for a birthday get-together with a group of 7 and had a great experience. Our server (I unfortunately can't remember her name) was super energetic, had great humor, and provided excellent service throughout the entire night. I ordered the pork schnitzel and was surprised by how big the portion was--in the best way. It was incredibly delicious and perfectly lemony. One of my favorite parts was the potato salad that comes with it; it was more potato-forward than creamy, which I loved. Overall, it was a perfect meal, and I even had leftovers for lunch the next day. Would definitely come back.

I really enjoyed this place! The best thing we got I think was the fried green tomatoes. My friend and I got a few apps and I got the wedge and she got a harvest bowl of sorts. Drinks and service were great and they have a wide menu so there is def something for everyone.

Ordered green chili, they recently changed recipe, server forgot to mention they added jalapeños to it, my mouth was on fire after every bite. Wouldn't have ordered it if I had known. Mead I didn't like, but that's just a personal thing. Ordered some sangria and there was a hair in it. I also didn't eat like any of my green chili and server didn't think to ask if I liked it or not when she was taking it away until I had to speak up later and say something. Again, a person thing, I just don't like speaking up sometimes. Reviews were great so I was surprised. Maybe I just had a poor server experience. The looks of the place are good, though.

We got a reservation here to try yet another Devour Indy dinner. We were seated right away and our server came over shortly to greet us and take our drink orders. I had an espresso martini that was so good. I also had the herb salad and the chicken shawarma kebabs with house made hummus and tzatziki dips. I would definitely order this again. My dessert was the chocolate crème brûlée. It was tasty and filling.

Went to lunch with my parents and 101 Craft Kitchen. I was a little late to arrive to the restaurant however, I was quickly seated with my family. The staff had a menu out to me in no time flat and my order was placed a few minutes later.

Do they make their pork tenderloins fresh or from frozen patties?

    We patty them in house!

Is it possible to order a growler to go?

Sorry. No. It's 100 percent illegal per state liquor laws. You can only buy growlers if the beer is made onsite.

I watched as people took their first bites. Forkfuls paused mid-air, conversations instantly ground to a halt, and eyes widened across every table. Jake Burgess and the crew from the Burgess Restaurant Group weren't just catering an event; they were executing a masterclass in craft for a crowd without taking a single shortcut. "You have got to try this," someone blurted out to my left, leaning across the table before even finishing their bite. "I'm tellin' you, Jake and his team don't miss," another replied. "Between FoxGardin, The Den, Bonge's, Carnegie's... it doesn't matter which spot it is, they nail it every single time." Taking it all in, it hit me why they stand so far apart. In a world full of safe, forgettable catering, Jake and the Burgess Restaurant Group served up the kind of deep, craveable food that ruins standard dining for the rest of us. It's the kind of cooking that makes you immediately start planning your next trip to one of their spots before you've even finished the meal in front of you. A massive, heartfelt shoutout to Jake Burgess and the entire Burgess Restaurant Group: FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale, FoxGardin Family Kitchen, The Den, Smoky's Concession Stand, Bonge's Tavern, and Carnegie's. We weren't going to get an appetizer but the bone marrow fries looked so good in pictures that we had to try them. They did not disappoint. Very large serving and extremely flavorful. Easily an appetizer for 4 or more people (there was only 2 of us so we brought some home). My dining partner is not normally a fries person and she loved these. For entree, my dining partner had today's special which was a shredded chicken sandwich that had a jalapeño cheese sauce and the house chips. She said it was very good and again half the sandwich came home. I had their breaded tenderloin which was very good, with nice breading to meat ratio and was a bit larger than the bun. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It came ala carte with no sides. Service was excellent, exceptionally friendly and really took care of us. One of the best waiters I've come across. Inside is a bar/pub like feel. We opted to eat in the air condition enclosed "patio" type area which had a bit more light, but was also noisy today due to the tin lined walls/ceiling and another group that was quite loud. Made it a bit hard to converse. Normally don't think this would be an issue. While not tons of items on the menu, the selection was quite varied and you could really splurge on a filet or other such dish and really go all in for a more lavish dinner or have a burger or tenderloin, all at any time of day. Parking was right in front of the restaurant but could see it being a bit tight on a busy day.

As an esteemed enjoyer of delicious vittles, I feel like it's my job to pay attention to the food…read moreworld in general, and central Indiana's food scene in particular. A while back, I learned that Tom Main, the owner of Freeland's, was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur. Well! That's all I needed to read, and I put Freeland's on my list of must-visit restaurants. Freeland's isn't a fancy joint, but it's also not not-fancy. Vibes were telling me that it felt like the kind of place where you want to put on a clean shirt, and so I got it into my head that Freeland's should be saved for a day when I felt like changing out of my yoga pants. So I visited on an anniversary. Pro tip: When you make a reservation online (and you should definitely make a reservation), tell them whether you're visiting for a birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc. They will make your dining experience incredibly special. We were greeted at our table with a celebratory sparkling wine toast (in shot glasses), and a complimentary scoop of fruit sorbet to end our meal. This was totally unexpected and was a nice touch, and spoke volumes about the service at Freeland's. Honestly, I don't know what to rave about first: the service or the food. But since I mentioned the service, I'll go ahead and just say that Freeland's has some of the best service I've experienced in Indiana. I felt like I was in the middle of a carefully orchestrated play, with people coming in and out to give me new silverware, refresh my water glass before I knew I needed more water, and whisk my empty plates away as soon as I was done with them. At one point, I was transfixed by watching the staff maneuver and dance around each other in the dining room with purpose and grace. It was a sight to behold. I love efficiency! I love moving with purpose! They do that here, all for you. One hundred percent, you should order the carrot appetizer. It's just called "Carrots" on the menu, which is an understatement. These are perfectly cooked warm carrots glazed in a Szechuan sauce, sitting on top of a creamy edamame hummus, drizzled with oil and sprinkled with everything-bagel spice. One order is plenty for two or three people to share, but I could see myself coming back and just hoarding an entire carrots plate all to myself, with a glass of wine, at the bar. For the main dishes, the Sakura Farm Pork Belly was ordered (kimchi, black forbidden rice, duck egg), which was so juicy and tender. I got the Loch D' Art Salmon, which is cooked medium, unless you tell them otherwise (but medium is perfect, so don't tell them otherwise), and comes with Carolina gold grits, broccolini, tomatoes, romesco sauce and harissa. Holy mackerel (I mean, salmon)! This was a perfect fish dish, and melted in my mouth. Every bite was amazing. It was just the right amount on the plate, too -- not too much, but also completely satisfying. They have some creative desserts on the menu. I didn't really want dessert, but we were given a dessert on the house, so how could I say no? The cherry sorbet was pure, icy cherries in a glass. So refreshing, and the perfect way to end the exquisite meal. Freeland's dining room is small, and when we visited, every table was full. Like I said, definitely make a reservation. But despite all of the people, and all of the people talking, it was never too loud. They have sound-diffusing panels in the ceiling to offset some of the noise, so I never felt like I had to shout across the table. They think about every detail here! This is one example of the care Freeland's puts into their dining experience, and it's not the only one. You are well-taken-care-of here.

The inside was actually bigger than I was expecting. There was a beautiful bar located on one side of the house. Overall, decor was elegant but not pretentious. You could come in casual attire and not feel out of place. Our waiter was very personable and had a great sense of humor. He took time to explain the menu and was extremely helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to get. Everything sounded fantastic especially the starters. I didn't get a cocktail but I did get a lovely cup of hot peach tea that was very delightful. My friend's cocktail was beautiful. We did get a sample of one of the sparkling wines which was very nice. Mt friends ordered several items and I tried most of them. The carrots were my favorite. I ordered the tots and caviar as my main meal. This is definitely the upscale, adult version of tots. The potatoes were very crispy and I was shocked by the amount of caviar for the price. All the food was beautifully presented. And everything came out hot. Meaning temperature hot. You could tell everything was cooked fresh. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. But the great service is what would keep me coming back.

Once that was over I ordered the blackened salmon salad with what I thought was a side of fries but could honestly have been a full entree. Legit I was shook when it came to the table. Had we known, we wouldn't have both ordered one. That said, everything was delicious. The salad had cherry tomatoes, red onion, red pepper, cucumber, avocado, and feta with this creamy lemon feta dressing. I could have done without the red pepper, it was just a weird texture thrown in with everything else, but I would order this again in a heartbeat. And the fries were indeed fire. I took them back to my hotel room and munched on them later. Overall, they were really accommodating and the food was delicious!

Once seated, we let our server know we'd be in meetings and would order shortly. When we had a small break, I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon, and, following my colleague's lead, a *side* of truffle fries. When our food arrived (both salads and fries) we were shocked by how large the side of fries was! It was basically appetizer-sized and enough to share. I was so surprised our server didn't mention the generous portion size or suggest sharing. That was a bit disappointing, but overall, the food was tasty!
