I loved this new gastro pub on Polaris with a rustic vibe. The menu had options of pizza, salads, soups and sandwiches. I got a wedge salad and clam chowder soul for under $10. In addition, I got a mimosa for $9. Service was a 10. I would highly recommend. read more

I had the cornbread stuffed rainbow trout with cranberry. It was different since it's on the sweet side. I liked the crispy skin, fish and stuffing. Not sure about the sweet flavor and cranberry that washed out the fish aroma. I was impressed by the creativity and it wasn't bad. read more

We really liked this new restaurant to the Polaris area. Food was excellent. Beer was good. $5 for a draft beer seems high?? In a place named 101 Beer Kitchen? Would go back anytime, but unless I was 'hankering' for a beer I may just settle for water. Nice location. Easy parking. Try it out, don't think you will be disappointed. I am giving a two star bc the service was quick and our waiter was very nice. However the food was atrocious. We had several different dishes at our table . All of the dishes had a unique cinnamon flavor with cayenne pepper. Clearly I am not a fan of this combo. The mac and cheese that everyone raves about, I felt had no flavor. My husband's steak was so tough, he felt even a bangled tiger would have a hard time chewing it. We also ordered just some wings for an appetizer, again, not a fan of the seasonings used. Maybe you need to have a few beers here before eating dinner. It's possible their beers prepare your palate for the seasoning used on their food. However, the food left such a bad taste in my mouth, I will probably never go back to try their beer. read more

Great food, we shared the tater tots, had some really nice beers from the tap ,I ate the salmon which was really good and very large portion, the staff was friendly and the place was very clean,a little loud but that was fine . Stopped by for dinner along with my parents. My dad and I ordered the Pork Chops while my mother ordered the soup and salad. First of all, I was so surprised as to how long (more than 30 minutes) it took for our order to arrive. The presentation was great, however the meat was just warm and very tough. Considering the place was so busy and loud, we decided not to mention anything to our server and make the best of it. This place has always impressed me in the many times that I've ate here, however this time around I was quite disappointed. We decided to give this place a try while returning from a visit to Northeastern Ohio. There are a couple other locations, this being the newest. The concept is simple...freshness. The food is fresh and the beer rotates often. They also have many cocktail options. They will soon be offering brunch, which is also exciting. The beer options were good. Some things that are hard to find in my everyday life. Plus an emphasis on the locals. Love it! We started with the beef tartar, and it was good. Would have preferred a raw egg with this rather than the hard boiled one that came with it. But it was tasty. The wife just had a side salad-type thing with the tartar, while opted for the snow crab salad. My own version of surf and turf. No imitation crab here. Some of the pieces of crab were as long as my finger. It was nice and light - just what I was seeking. The server was pretty good. Not extremely up on his beers, but he was sufficient. I would probably give this place a higher rating if it wasn't for me being so hungry and really needing a beer. When I get that hungry, everything tends to taste good. I will try again and possibly adjust my rating. read more

The service Dameon provided was amazing. He was very attentive and helpful. I had the pretzel crusted chicken and really enjoyed it.

Our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. About a 25 minute wait for a table on a Friday night. Snagged last seat at the bar while we waited. Wide variety of drink options to chose from. Checking in on yelp earned us a free loaded tater tot appetizer, which was quite tasty. Once we got our table we ordered dinner. A salmon dish for me and chicken for him. The food was great. Service was only thing that kept this from being an overall 5 star experience. Not bad just not overly friendly/attentive. The manager did stop by our table to say hello and see how things were so bonus points for that. During our conversation we were surprised to learn their menu totally changes each quarter. I guess that can be both good and bad in that it gives you a chance to keep trying new things but bad if you really liked something and wanted it again. We will be back. read more

I love this place. My husband is a craft beer geek . So many craft beer places have the "usual fattening pub food". Uninteresting with no real presentation style. While 101 has a bit of that, pub food, they also have some awesomely interesting salads and a true flair for great sauces and gorgeous presentation. Much more of a "foodie" place. Nice wine selection for those of us not always up for drinking beer, even if it is CRAFT!!! The servers are great and friendly. I live 1 mile. Finally, a good, locally owned restaurant in the Polaris area. The space is large that although we went on a busy Friday night, we were seated right away. Our server Hannah was very sweet and seems really proud of the restaurant. I had the vegan burger which was delicious. Kids meals were better than most restaurants kids meals and seemed fresh. Huge beer selection and a lot of it was local (Brothers Drake is a favorite!) which we love to support. I had the vegan burger which was very good and very filling. My husband had a spicy burger which he really enjoyed. We will definitely be back. read more

Best burger in Westerville in my opinion. The loaded tots were delicious and the place has a great craft beer selection. Food on point, beer on point, only issue is how popular it is, which is to be expected. I heard their weekend brunch is outta this world good, but have not had it yet. This is our new favorite place. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. We had a great conversation with the staff on all the beers and how 101 Beer Kitchen got started. We have been back a half dozen times. Sam has been our waiter several times and is fabulous. He answers all our questions on the beer and makes great suggestions on both the beer and food. Mike, General Manager, is also great and takes pride in making your experience the best. We have had great food and great service. We are so glad we found this place! read more

Really disappointing. I had the 1/2 pizza and salad lunch. The margharita pizza was soggy on top and burnt (way beyond wood fired) on the bottom which gave it an off taste. The wedge salad had rotten cherry tomatoes and almost no bacon. Everyone knows the bacon makes a wedge. I did like the romaine vs. iceberg lettuce variation. My husband got the fried walleye sandwich. He was surprised that previous reviewers thought the walleye sandwich was so amazing because he thought it was average at best. The worst part was the lobster "bisque" it came with. This was not bisque by any stretch. Absolutely no lobster meat and just broth not creamy. When the manager stopped by to check on us and my husband asked about this so-called "bisque", she said "oh, we just serve lobster stock, it's not supposed to have any lobster in it." Really?... Plus she didn't seem to care at all that we weren't happy with our food. Why'd you ask then?? I might have given this restaurant three stars for being average but I took off one star for the manager's attitude and one more for the impersonal waiter that served us. Mediocre food combined with poor service = not a good combo which means I won't be returning. read more
