So let's start off with the PROS; Customer service was great, host were friendly, waitress was amazing. Now the CONS; We ordered a French onion soup and the Asian calamari. French onion soup had NO TASTE. I had to put an abundance of salt and pepper and that didn't even help. Asian calamari was good but also needed seasoning. Once we got our entrees which was a linguini and a meatloaf BOTH of the dishes lack flavor. Presentation is great but if I can't taste the food how am I gonna enjoy it. I think the overall concept is great but they should really work in the seasonings. UPDATE: General Manager reached out to me and offered an accommodation which I really appreciate. Used to go there alot, but Friday 5/6 I called in a take out Gluten Free order at 5pm, after a long day I just wanted to pick it up and go home to relax. I got there at 5:40 and both hosts weren't busy at all, just standing there chatting, no customers waiting; they turned to help me and when I gave my name, she tells me "Oh geeze I never put the order in, sorry. I'll put it in now" I stood there, really frustrated by her lack of sympathy in her statement. Knowing it would take at least 20mins, I told her to forget it and left. Where should I begin ....beside me walking in and it took the host a bit to acknowledge me standing there. This place still get a 5 star as i sat down at the bar I think her name isMarta. She was very friendly and helpful with giving me some suggestions as I took a looked over the menu I decided to go with the ribeye steak ( aged for 28 days) with a side of sweet potato fries and chilled asian noodles. As I was waiting for Marta to take my order Steve notice me and came over and took my order because Marta was busy they where very friendly and attentive and I didn't feel rush at all comparing to some places once I paid they rushed me out. Now on to the food .... as my dish came out first thing I did was cut my meat to see if it was cook the way I asked for it which is medium rare and it tasted so JUICY and flavorful and tender. And the sweet potato fries was very crunchy the way i like my fries and the chilled asian noodles salad was also delicious full of flavor I highly recommend it to everyone it hit the spot I was very happy with my meal and service.. Our second trip here and the kids are begging to return. They love being able to choose from each section of the kids menu. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is heavenly for vegetarians. And my husband got swordfish for the second time - his new fave. Service was fast and our waitress in particular - Joanna - was OUTSTANDING. Excellent meal tonight. We split the Kale Brussels salad...wish I had my own. It was delicious combo of shredded kale, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, cabbage, radicchio, carrots, golden beets, arugula, pumpkin seeds, diced gala apples tossed in a whole grain mustard vinaigrette with goat cheese. I had the Cajun swordfish dinner with my choice of two sides, roasted Brussels sprouts and jasmine rice. My sister had the "by the chef" Cuban swordfish which was Cajun style served over a chilled rice salad that had corn and beans in it with arugula served on top that was tossed in citrus oil with a grilled lime. The fish was outstanding and cooked to perfection! Found out that all fish is delivered fresh from North Coast Seafood in Boston. Marta, at the bar, was personable and very knowledgeable about the food and its preparation. The atmosphere is great and they have taken strict precaution with social distancing and barriers between dining parties. Highly recommend this restaurant! read more

New location on Rte 1 @ the Hilltop site, grilled chicken was soooo tender! Service was great. Giving 4 stars because 1. I asked for grilled (not fried) chicken and was given fried 2. prices seem high (i.e. side order broccoli $5, salads with chicken $14-18, chicken caprese (with small salad and no basil) $18, meatloaf $17). Would pay that (and do) for a good size salad with fresh crabmeat or salmon at classic NE fish restaurants, but not for chicken. For example, one of the best restaurant chains in the area that I frequent features salads with grilled chicken for $12.50-14.50. May give it another try after reading reviews. read more

This is my second review for 110 Grill in Saugus, my wife and I had dinner again there last night (2/1/19) and of course when I made the reservation I asked to have Caroline as our server. We have been here three times so far and let me tell you this, if you get one thing out of this review it should be this: C-A-R-O-L-I-N-E is the BEST server we have ever met! Do yourself a favor and request her. This young lady is so wonderful, she knows the menu and will give you her honest opinions/recommendations if you ask her, she is EXCELLENT at her job and you will be glad you took my advice and requested her! All the staff here are great and they truly work as a team and you can tell they enjoy their jobs. The food is awesome as well, my favorite dish so far is the Short Rib with risotto! Caroline has helped us make our dinner selections each time we have dined there and each time she has done an excellent job at letting us know which dish she felt we would like the most based on what we like and don't like. All of the hostesses have been great at getting us seated as quickly as possible and the restaurant has always been packed each time we have been there. Been camping for over a month now from Georgia to Massachusetts. When we tour local markets we stop for lunch, but have been walking out with less than $30.00 in our pockets and a disappointing lunch. We haven't found one restaurant that impressed us until today. We were in the area seeing the Saugus Iron Works National Historic Site. Grabbed my Yelp for restaurant recommendations and picked 110 Grill basically because I liked the name. Walked in was seated immediately even though the lunch crowd nearly filled the restaurant. Carrie, our server, was prompt with drinks and our order. Coffee hot, too, and she kept refills coming. BUT... I want to praise not only the service but the food. My husband had the bacon, lettuce, tomato wrap with spicy fries. He ate half his sandwich, and finished his spicy fries. I took a chance on a corned beef reuben and it was the best I've ever eaten. The traditional corned beef sandwich was extremely lean; the meat was piled high and served on grilled, dark rye bread. Glad I had ordered just a sandwich with no sides as half a sandwich was more than sufficient for lunch and the other half was going to be enjoyed for dinner. Knowing I could buy ice next door to the restaurant, I tried to decide how we could carry our sandwiches back to the camper on our motorcycle when Carrie came to the rescue. She brought out two go-boxes, 1 for the sandwiches and 1 box to pack ice around the sandwich box. She sealed it and sure enough we made it back to our camper 3 hours later with ice and sandwiches still intact. Her help and creativity was beyond the call of her position and she did this while waiting on other customers. Seems there are other 110 Grills in the area where we are camping next week, so we'll try them for dinner. Service was excellent, restaurant was clean, but more importantly the food makes you want to return. read more

Fantastic lunch experience!! Went with a few coworkers for a bite to eat, and Alicia made our experience so special. We got a glass of a white Zinfandel that Alicia recommended, which was perfect. Went for an early Mother's Day last night to 110 in Woburn. Out server, Colleen was perfect. Orders all correct, including my sons allergy! We had delicious cocktails, and bread and butter was even offered! Colleen told us about the allergen protocol and it made me feel safe that the food is all cross checked before being served. We visited the 110 Grill for the first time on Saturday and are looking forward to our next visit! The environment is warm and friendly, the service was prompt and we were ushered to a Chef's table where we could see all of the kitchen action upon our arrival. Shannon, our server took great care of us, patiently explaining her favorites and making recommendations. We ordered the cuban swordfish which is the most tender and moist I have every eaten, the steak tips with a delicious whiskey sauce and the ribeye which was very flavorful and tender. All 5 star dishes to be sure. Great wine selection as well. The Manager Rene came over to great us and to be sure we were enjoying our meal. I have been here three times. The food first - very broad selection, there is pretty much something for everyone. The fresh bread is great. I got the chicken pesto pasta and it was Okay. My brother got the steak it was again, okay. Everyone that got something saidthat it was okay. It was a little expensive. The bar was pretty cool. The place was packed but, it was a Friday. My biggest complaint was the reservations. Both times we used the reservation we got there and waited over 15 minutes.
