I questioned it and was told "these are the rates can't do anything about them, you have to pay if you want your vehicle". Amazing, that the City of Kyle contracts with company that conducts business so unscrupulously. Their actions fall under predatory business practices, unfair or deceptive business practices and profiteering. If this happens to you, please know you have recourses. It will cost money and time, but worth the investment if stops this behavior. File complaints, with Law Enforcement Agency (local Police, County, Sheriff), JP Court, FTC, TDLR, Attorney General, BBB and of course all the social media Review platforms.

So I called the only locally owned tire shop I could find in the Lakeway area (Don Rucker) to repair my tire and it was the perfect experience. Just like Discount Tire, they told me to come in and, unlike Discount, they took care of it promptly with no high pressure sales for tires/wiper blades/TPMS rebuilds and I was on my way. It's not free like Discount, but it's definitely worth it! I'll certainly be back when I need anything else.
