HUGE, gorgeous, filling salads! The 22 House salad with salmon is super high quality. Lots of lettuce (and I'm not talking cafeteria style iceberg or romaine -- I'm talking gorgeous spring mix)! + Candied walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese crumbles, and amazing dressing. Service is friendly and nice. Ambience is casual and inviting. This is the perfect stop after a day of boarding!

Inside is well used but clean.

The food itself was excellent. The tri-tip sandwich was juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. The homemade chips were crispy and fresh and well seasoned. The sweet potato gnocchi was made in-house and was sweet and delicious. The food was served hot and looked great. We came here on a Wednesday evening in early March. Not overly busy, one server and she was hustling. The overall interior was a little old and tired but not unclean or unkempt. We would definitely return.

22 bistro located in the palisades village...a full-service restaurant and bar...wait for host to seat the party...menu provided and drink orders first...modern american menu...traditional burgers, meaty sandwiches, unique salads and interesting bowls....kid's menu items available...for one kid, taking a slider $12 with chips included and adding a 2nd for $4 more...for the other, taking a slider $12, adding cheese $2 extra, $4 for extra slider and substituting chips for fries an additional $3 surcharge...chicken tenders $12 and also substituting chips for sweet potato fries the same $3 surcharge...kid's menu prices can add up to adult prices...burgers were were better than rocker restaurant...patties were cooked well-done, but wasn't charred...2 adults taking the dragonfly bowl which were thai udon noodle soup in a curry broth...delicious...beet and arugula salad $19 and adding chicken for $6 extra...worth it for the amount of chicken received...bitro burger $21 and adding bacon for $2...good...22 bistro had better food than rocker...rating is based on the restaurants at the village...

Came here for food after a fun day of skiing. We got seated pretty quick and the waitress was nice. 3/5 Goulash - a little bland and super mediocre 3/5 Thai noodle soup - very bland 4/5 Sweet potato fries - nicely cooked 4/5 Chicken sate - served on a med of cabbage. The peanut butter sauce was good on the chicken 4/5 beet carpaccio - loved this. Very good 2/5 Kids Mac and cheese - edible but not good The starters tasted a lot better than the mains. Next time id just order starters and have beer.

Brussel spouts. I'm not sure why they are so prolific on menus. Aren't they out of style? I enjoy them so I guess not. These were pretty tasty, until I discovered something unappetizing hidden amongst the greenery. It was brought to our server's attention. She was embarrassed and apologetic and fired up a fresh order. How she handled it was exactly how she should have. We appreciated her grace. Anyway, enough of that. This place was what we expected for a restaurant off the slopes, filled with skiers. A fun atmosphere. My red river gin cocktail was different and enjoyable. We only came for a couple of drinks and appetizers. The Brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries filled us up. When leaving, I spotted some pho looking soup on our neighbor's table that looked amazing. If we head this way again, I will give that a try.

we opted for this cozy little restaurant in the palisades village instead of the food court (which was crowded, and didn't have too many options). they have quick service and clean bathrooms, which is a plus! their menu had thrice as many options as the food court does (which featured $20 burgers and $30 ramen ). truffle bacon brussels sprouts: this dish was quite delicious. definitely priced on the steeper end, but i'm a huge fan of anything truffle. brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection, with an added crisp! the chicken sandwiches were much bigger portions than we were expecting. the chicken was good, but the bread was quite stiff. chicken wings were pretty standard across the board. solid restaurant to refuel with! check it out!

The food here is just ok let me break down what was sampled and how everything faired Truffle fried brussel sprouts with bacon - some pieces of brussel sprouts were over ripe meaning very soft in middle if not slightly slimy, flavor food but not very fresh produce Chicken club sando - dry, slightly savory, dense bread Chilli- hearty, flavorful If your here with the crowds you will be waiting awhile, the staff is attentive, and helpful sadly the food was lacking any wow factor, I get it feed folks then have em move out so you can help more folks, during ski season definitely overpacked here. Again the staff is very helpful sadly the food not so good

Great spot to grab early dinner, even with my dog! She enjoyed the open patio as we watched the finish for the ultra running race that was going on. Worried at first about the wait, but were quickly seated and served. the menu has a wide variety, Highly recommend the salad! Good enough portion to share, the crab cakes weren't a huge hit for me, but my dog loved them:) definitely will be back sometime again this summer!

Great for a lunch between a day of skiing. We are inside but the outside tables seem perfect in warm weather. The menu is actually great. Not your typical crappy ski lodge fare. The share plate portions are very generous and could totally be entrees on their own. Loved the ability to walk to a super close restaurant and then be feet from the funicular and tram.

In fact, we dine at SPOON every evening throughout our entire visits. That's how much we love it! What makes SPOON exceptional is its signature fresh, organic cuisine, where every dish is specialty designed with incredible attention to detail and elevated, memorable flavors. Each plate feels creative, thoughtful, and uniquely crafted rather than simply prepared. The cuisine is a reflection of the two owners--both chefs--who bring more than 25 years of culinary expertise each, with a passion centered on flavor, creativity, quality, and organic ingredients. Their experience and dedication are evident in every bite. The setting is wonderful year-round. SPOON consistently delivers an experience that feels personal and welcoming. During the summer, the beautiful outdoor patio is a perfect place to dine--and yes, it's wonderfully dog friendly! In winter, the atmosphere transforms into a cozy, inviting indoor dining experience. Another bonus: you can bring your own favorite bottle of wine to enjoy with your meal. Photos are examples of what we ordered. Our starter: Soup of the Moment - changes regularly- Mexican Squash & Beef Soup with verdolagas and roasted poblano peppers, and lime marinated chickpeas. Our dinner order: Organic Chicken Breast, herb marinated, skin-on breast, oyster mushrooms, roasted potatoes & Caribbean jerk pesto. Chipotle Rubbed Organic Legs, brined, rubbed & roasted leg quarters with chickpea salad, avocado salsa verde & shaved radish. Side Pan-Roasted Fish - King Salmon Linguini with Roasted Garlic Tomatoes & Parmesan For dessert: Sweetness of the moment - Raspberry Crumble Cake with whipped cream and raspberry compote. To take home for our midnight snacks we ordered both of their specialty signature deserts: Chocolate Truffle Medallions, (3) dark chocolate ganache medallions, with coconut, almond meal & a touch of sea salt. Million Dolla' Slice, layered buttery shortbread bar, salty caramel, dark chocolate ganache & toasted almonds. For us, SPOON isn't just a restaurant--it's a delicious culinary experience.

We got upstairs seating, I loved being able to watch the kitchen from above I wish I got our server's name because she was very attentive and welcoming. The food was honestly fantastic. The mac n cheese was perfectly cooked and not overly cheesy. It came with sliced grapes on the top, which complimented the cheese taste. The chicken really wowed me. It was incredibly moist, flavorful, and filling. The cake was phenomenal, even the whipped cream on top was sooooo good. I wanted to come back the next day to eat. I wish I didn't live so far from Spoon!!!

I like the menu a lot, short a seasonallly driven by chef's creativity. We decided to order a 2023 Chateauneuf-du-Pape bottle which paired perfectly with duck, lamb, pork, oxtail, deer, and beets. We shared some appetizers. Their bread is so good that we asked for another loaf. The Ahi Tuna Crudo was fresh and balanced. The cold cut platter was delicious. We were full but wanted to share 2 desserts because the sweet ending menu was so attractive. Great food and wine with a spectacular view of Lake Tahoe and live music. Service was excellent and detailed attention with 2 minute checkbacjs, silverware replacement after each course, water refilling, and before desserts arrived, the table was clear out. Our server, who was from Brazil, was so bubbly, friendly and made the experience more fun. She seemed to be taking care of almost the entire place and still made everyone feel seen. We ordered the lobster roll and the duck bánh mì, and both were good. My only note is that the lobster roll seemed to be mostly shrimp, so at $33 it felt a little overpriced. You are really paying for the view! One of our orders did take a while to come out, but our server was super apologetic and comped the dish, which we really appreciated. Overall, good food, warm service, and an unbeatable view.
