Number One Burger - one with modifications
    Stacey D.

I was really craving a burger, so my friend suggested we stop at 25 Degrees at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel before heading across the street to the Chinese Theatre for a screening of Sum Function. The location could not have been more convenient, the burgers were delicious, and the drinks did not disappoint. The burger on the left is exactly as it comes, but I'm a picky eater, so the one on the right doesn't have arugula or thousand island. It's a tiny little spot with a cute cozy vibe, and the bartender, who was also our waiter, was incredibly friendly and made the experience a good one. This is a great place to grab a bite before a show or movie night in Hollywood!

Extremely good food, I have a severe seafood allergy and the waiter actually went out of his way to verify that I'd be safe to have whatever I wanted. For the time period of the Rosevelt the Restaruant is very time period. Doesn't smell like an older place, very clean.

I actually enjoyed this more than it seems most people do. The bartender guys were super fun and nice and I thought the food we got was definitely decent given that it was 11:30pm and nothing else was open. We got the club sandwich, the grilled cheese, the tots and fries. The tots were really great and the fries were really crispy and well seasoned. Both sandwiches were big and filling. I'd definitely stop in again if I was in the area during a late night.

This was supposed to be our go to place when we have tourists from different countries. It accomplishes the goal of visiting the center of Hollywood blvd, along with American burger and beer , in the classic hotel Roosevelt. The building is historic and the lobby is cozy, the restaurant has a diner feel but they have updated the menu and we wished they had more burger choices. Service was decent. They were not that busy surprisingly, maybe because of their food quality. Burgers were overly fatty, heavy and soggy in my opinion. They can definitely do better and attract more customers in this prime Hollywood location. Your best bet is to park in the structure in the alley right next to it.

It was lunchtime and my friends were visiting from out of town. And they wanted to eat in Hollywood. 25 Degrees diner was an immediate "Let's Go There"! Connected to The Roosevelt Roosevelt Hotel in the middle of Hollywood, this diner has an Old Hollywood feel. We were greeted and had the option to sit at the counter with a great view of the kitchen where the chefs and cooks are busy making breakfast, lunch and dinner or sit in the nice comfy booths. We chose the booths. The menu has a wide array for food items. Wanted to wash my hands. The bathroom is in the lobby of The Roosevelt Hotel. It was like walking through time as I strolled through the swanky, high ceiling, very chill classy venue. Back in 25 Degree diner, our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and had a cool hipster vibe. The food was amazing. We ordered sweet potato fries, chicken sandwich, street dog, french fries and CHEESECAKE! This place is awesome.

Came to the hotel for a work trip about a month back. I wish I had time to try more eats but this was good enough to satisfy my cravings after an early flight while I was waiting for my room to be ready. The team is nice and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful! I fell in love with the red velvet walls at the table I was sitting. It's definitely worth a try here, and I know the burgers taste great even though I haven't tried it. I can just smell it from the other tables close by. Next time I'll try a burger for sure.

Caesar salad and tater tots were both really good. Dressing for salad was creamy and tasty. Tots were seasoned perfectly and crispy like they should be. No bathroom in restaurant and have to use attached hotel restroom after you get code from waiter. They are cashless and add an 18% service charge fee to every order.

Was staying at the hotel and looking for a casual dinner so this was convenient and yummy! Got the grain bowl and girlfriend got the wings. So neither one of us got burgers at the burger joint LOL! Grain bowl was good with beets and avocado and I had enough to eat as a snack the next night. Service was quick and kind.

I jumped in there cause i saw their milkshake sign an it was 92 degrees outside . First of all the milkshakes were spiked but they all looked so tempting so I ordered one delicious and beautiful to boot . It set inside an undoubtedly famous hotel the Roosevelt great ambiance lovely walls . A full bar with booths surrounding it . Bartenders were attentive and precise we ordered a cocktail . Later on I tryed one of their burgers served deliciously super rare with oodles of Gruyère cheese mushrooms arugula on a brioche . The crowd was an older crowd which was pleasant .Didnt really seem someplace the 20+s would like but who knows . I would definitely recommend I rarely eat a burger and to me this was one of not the best one for a long time at my perfect temperature with sweet potato fries they were nothing special though It was a little pricey and they do add a 18% service charge . There was only 2 of us and I thought California you need 6 to ad but Just look out

Wow, we stayed at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We decided that we were hungry and we wanted to have some lunch so we went ahead and went to 25°. Customer service was excellent service was super fast love the vibe in there. I will say it is a bit expensive for burgers and fries, but the food was good, we enjoyed everything. It was a good experience.

25 Degrees is definitely worth saving for a special occasion - not necessarily big milestones like birthdays, but more like a nice date night. Celebrating a raise at work. Catching up with a friend from out of town. The Roosevelt Hotel location, upscale diner aesthetic, and quality, unique menu items make for a memorable experience. The gourmet, well-crafted burgers and drinks are pricy, but worth it. The Chef's Choice No. 1 burger and the Sunset cocktail are my favourites. The build-a-burger option ensures you'll get exactly what you want, from fancy to simple. They are stingy with fries - ask for a full order if you want more than a pittance with your meal. Even if In N Out has your heart, 25 Degrees has some of the best burgers in LA - it's a must-try at least once.

People say 18% "hidden fee". It is not hidden. It is stated on the menu lol people just don't read. Just READ lol Nonetheless, great burger, large portion, amazing steak etc. it is chill vibe and open late!

I'm back. 11 years later. Menu is somewhat different but the same. I was out with our work crew for the Beetlejuice Experience across Hollywood blvd. So, excuse the Halloween like makeup! Convenient that this place is open 24 hours. If you ever want fries and a spike milkshake - you've found your place. The burger #2 had prosciutto burrata roasted tomato and pesto. The flavors were there but I thought the burger itself was overcooked for me personally. Nothing that I should have asked for the burger to be cooked medium. Tried the curly fries tater tots and onion rings. Loved all 3 sides of carbs lol - tater tots are always a fave, seasoning of the curly fries amazing and onion rings are lightly coated that you can eat an entire basket! Restaurant dining room is not that large and we were lucky to grab a booth on a Thursday night. Parking should be available at the Roosevelt since this restaurant is attached to the hotel. Parking also at Ovation except there is no validation available from the restaurant.

Parking: Street parking was super easy on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to pull up right in front and park on the street. There is a Super A across the street and ample parking around for free. Ambiance & Food: This reminds me of an old school burger stand. Those were the best burgers and this one did not stop that trend. As I walked up, we were warmly greeted and given a quick rundown of what which burger. They did have specials (I will get to that in a second) which we were intrigued, but for the sake of perspective, I ordered the Goldburger and both regular fries and curly fries with a bottle coke. The Goldburger is naturally a double, but my gymrat protein brain added that extra patty. They use a 70% to 30% mixture for their burger which makes the burger oh so decadent. The picture I took doesn't do it justice. The moment you bite into the burger the combination of burger juice, aioli, burnt skirt, all come together in such a harmonious fashion. It was remarkable. Though fries are not one of my strong points, both fries were crispy and I haven't had any other experience with Curly fries other than Jack in the Box, but these were so much better. I went ahead and dipped the fries in some homemade Aioli and dang, what a combo! Back to those specials, the current special is CHILI, I was intrigued so they gave me a small container of it to try. Man, if I wasn't watching my caloric intake, that would have been the move. It was rich and chunky and not to soggy which some always comes. Give it a try as they said it will be around for sometime. Other than burgers, they do have hot dogs as well. So worth trying both next time. To be perfectly honest, this brought back so much nostalgia for me, I used to go to school in the area and this brought a lot of those memories back. We took prolly good 30mins in the line but once the first bite of their DH Burger hit, it felt totally worth the wait. The medium rare dry aged patty was so juicy that you could even see as you sliced through it. Cooked medium rare certainly nailed it. First, the place is located right across from Howlin' Rays in Chinatown. So parking is all around, which is nice. There was a line, to be expected with a top 10 burger, but the line moved pretty fast. I ordered the Amboy DH burger, which is their dry aged patty with American cheese, caramelized onions, pickles and burger sauce on a sesame seed bun. To be ranked as high as it is, my expectations are through the roof and, because of that, it did not meet the expectations. The never is very good, very thick ass well, and the bun had great flavor. What threw it off, for me, was the pickles. The pickles just did not mesh with the other flavors. The pickle is just very potent and dampens all the other great things going on in each bite. Bites that did not have the pickle were so much better. So I would say to get it without the pickle and I feel it will be exponentially better. The being said, while it is a good burger, I feel there are others in LA that beat it in terms of flavo, but I'll put it in my top ten in LA for sure.

If you are wanting a better tasting burger with pretty much thr same ingredients, I would suggest The Shack in Playa Del Rey. The fries here got soggy because of how they put them in the bag. It's unfortunate that there is no where to sit and that's why the fries get soggy. Let's now talk about the process. They accidentally messed my order by missing fries. Not the end of the world but in order for them to correct their mistake, I had to take all the food they put in the bag and give it back to them. That means while I waited over 25 minutes for my order, I had to wait longer for them to see what's in the bag to see the mistake. Who is to say that if I was crooked, I would simply remove the fries from the bag. What this ultimately means is that now my family is eating colder food. I didn't even bother for the fries anymore since I didn't want to either have my food get colder or wait another 20 minutes for them to remake all the food. I simply wouldn't go back. I do hope they stay around because we are losing small business but the owners should really reconsider the policy for missing food.
