While 25 degrees was mostly chosen for breakfast because it was convenient and located in our hotel, we ended up enjoying our breakfast there. The vibe during the day is "bistro" but it seems like it may feel a bit dark and loud at night. It's nice to be able to see out onto Hollywood Blvd while you dine as well. This place is AMAZING. 5 stars all around! After being given the incorrect room from our hotel and then being denied entry to Cabo Wabo (they said they were closed although they were still open for another hour according to their website and Yelp), we were desperate for a place to eat at 1:00am. We saw this place was open 24/7, so we figured it was worth a shot. This place was the BEST thing that happened to us all day. First off, shout out to Ashtar for listening about our crappy day and providing the best customer service I have ever received from anyone, anywhere. And I mean better than any Michelin Star place. She seriously was able to help us forget how terrible our day had been. Anytime we needed refills or anything, she was already on top of it. This girl is top notch. The food was also great! The chefs behind the counter were working their asses off and completing orders in no time. We ended up ordering the cheese plate and we built our own burgers. This cheese plate was SO worth the $16. Usually a cheese plate will have like one tiny piece of each cheese, but this place hooks you up with a very generous portion! The burgers were the best I've ever had. The bun is the best part!!! A little too thick for my personal preference but the juiciness is undeniable. The Bacon!!! So good and great quality! This fancy looking diner is located in the Roosevelt Hotel. Open 24 hours and they have valet parking. I got a chance to try the 3 cheese grilled cheese, the tomato soup and the Number One burger. Grilled 3 Cheese: Made with jack, cheddar and gruyere cheese....taste pretty good, very cheesey, good if you like grilled cheese sandwiches, nice soft thick bread good for soup dunking. Tuscan Tomato Soup: The soup I got wasn't warm enough so I sent it back to warm up more, it came back hotter, but as far as taste... it didn't taste bad but it tasted a lot like warm spaghetti sauce from a jar. I dunked some of my grilled cheese sandwich in it to eat it. I didn't finish the soup though cause the spaghetti sauce flavor started getting to be too much for me. First time here across the street from Madame Tussaud's in Hollywood. Plenty of paid parking. This is a mild to moderate loud environment that allows you to have a conversation without yelling. Very casual bar seating, table seating and some booth seating. Food is good and you are definitely not cheated for the money spent. Service is good and staff are friendly. Tip: half order of fries is pretty large and can feed 2 people. Plenty of beers to choose from. 3 large screen TV's. Great casual place. My friend got the number 4, which was a yellowfin tuna burger. I was definitely skeptical at first, but i ended up liking it more than mine. It's a loosely packed patty with lettuce and spicy mayo. It's softer and mushier than a regular patty, and kind of reminded me of a less fishy tuna sandwich in burger form. But in a good way. Walking through Hollywood craving a burger and I've heard good things so stopped by. It's located in the beautiful Roosevelt hotel. It's a small burger joint with a large bar. The barstools weren't my friend though bc they would spin around unless u kept ur feet on the ground (I like to sit on my legs like a child lol). Their drink menu had neat specialty cocktails ($13-$16) along with spiked milkshakes ($14). I decided to stick with water on this night. They have an amazing craft your own burger along with burgers with stuff already picked out for u. Patty options are great: sirloin, turkey, ahi tuna or impossible burger. The turkey was so good and not dry at all which is the problem I get with them at other places. They had so many cheeses, sides and sauces to put in your burger. The garlic aioli was the perfect amount of garlic I needed. Sweet potato fries were a hit and they had some extra seasoning which was a nice touch. Some of them were over salted though. Half size was plenty-full order is HUGE. They have truffle fries if that's your thing. Chopped salad was good but didn't have any lettuce. Maybe this is normal for this type of salad and I've just never noticed. The added chicken was a great portion. Overall, quick friendly service with great tasting food. Whenever I need a good burger on Hollywood Blvd at any hour of the day, this is the place I go - it's fabulous that it's open 24 hours a day. Can't beat that. I came here one Sunday evening after waiting to be served for literally 15 minutes at a Thai restaurant down the street. I was seated at the bar and served immediately. Wish I remember the name of the bartender who helped me because he was pretty cool, but they were all very nice! I've been here several times and haven't had a bad experience. The burger is always juicy when I order it - even when I ask for well done. The lettuce, tomato and onion comes on the side so you can put whatever you want on the burger. I usually do a build-your-own and get it with cheese and thousand island dressing (nod to In-n-Out) and a glass of wine. It's not the cheapest place to get a burger and wine, but as it's inside the famed Roosevelt Hotel, it's got a great ambiance and I love the decor so the experience is worth every dollar to me. read more

I had a disappointing experience at 25 Degrees. Came in for lunch on Feb 18; had a burger and a beer ($30!). Everything tasted fine but my waiter made it a really frustrating meal. I walked up to the bar, sat at the counter and Miguel (long curly hair and eyeglasses) handed me a menu without speaking a word - he didn't even make eye contact. A few minutes later he asked if I had any questions. I ordered my burger and beer. Again, he didn't say a word to me - maybe he was having a bad day. He punched in my order and I waited for my beer. I watched him clean up, prep stuff behind the counter, and fill some ketchup bottles. Five minutes later I was entirely convinced he had forgotten about my beer and I was spending the whole time wondering what I'd done to offend this guy. The beer showed up and then the burger, and both were fine. When I was done eating Miguel asked if I wanted anything else; I said no, just the check. The bill came without another word spoken; I gave him my cc; he ran the charge and delivered it back to me in silence. I left. I have been to the Huntington Beach location (which is not open 24 hours), and I was eager to try this location. Plus, my yf Robin S. rated this place 5 Stars. Custom sirloin burgers are the specialty here. I ordered the burger ($9), with bacon, blue cheese, caramelized onions, and fried egg (toppings are $1 each). My friends had the same burger, and added mushrooms. On the side we shared the ring and fries combo ($5). The burgers were excellent. We ordered ours medium, and they were juicy and nicely seasoned. The toppings were a good choice, and the egg put them over the top. The only room for improvement is the egg should have been runny: 5 Stars. The fries and rings were also excellent. They were not greasy, with a good price for the portion. It was sufficient for the 3 of us: 5 Stars. The ambiance is old skool diner, w/ a nice bar. There are other things on the menu, but why come to a burger joint and order grilled cheese? The only other item I recommend is the shakes w/ liquor: 5 Stars. On the other hand, the service was not up to par and the reason for non-5 Star overall rating. We came here for a snack but the only snacks they have are fries and onion rings, which I will say were pretty damn good. For $7 you get a HUGE portion of fries and onion rings and e got 3 this size so it was way too much. Service was slow, and I get it, you won't get a big tip on just some fries but still. Also they charge you for any sauce thats not ketchup but they have a "deal" on 3 so that kinda sucks because what are onion rings without any ranch? When looking for a place to eat by Hollywood & Highland, there is no shortage of cafes, restaurants, stands, etc but I was happy to have found 25 Degrees inside the Roosevelt Hotel. By decor, it feels like a lush diner, with booths and a long bar. They have burger specials and daily happy hour. After attending a PaleyFest panel at the Dolby across the street, we made our way to 25 Degrees. We were sat by the hostess in a booth and given the menus. We were just in time for happy hour which we ordered discounted onion rings, wine, and beer. Yay for HH! Just so you know, they have a lot of Hollywood impersonators come by since they all hang out in front of the Chinese theater. I also decided on an egg sandwich while Sean had the grilled cheese. Our food came out quickly and was delicious! They also had this ridiculous March burger special for $25 and it sounded amazing! You can create your own scramble by picking 2 items (bacon. avocado, onions, etc.,) and 1 cheese (large selection of gourmet cheeses). you can add items by paying for each addition. The plate comes with an order of hash browns which reminded me of a mashed potato patty (shaped like a hamburger patty) you then fry it crispy on each side. Whatever the case, it was really good! A surprise find especially for being so closely located to the touristy Hollywood and Highland area. Walking into the dim place and seeing the high bar seats and big booths I wasn't expecting a burger and fries but rather a some pan seared foie grois and a glass of cab as the interior is very trendy and intimate with a few small tv screens. But despite the aforementioned, the staff was very nice, friendly and patient as my friend cautiously sat at the counter. There was no scoffing as we first ordered waters and played around with our baseball caps as we debated on what to order. We finally decided on the looked like the best deal, the #1 me with a side of half and half and him a side of sweet potato fries. As others have mentioned the sides came before the burger, which for my friend and I was not a big deal as it let us munch while watching the World Series. The sides were much larger then expected as I got a very generous portion of fantastic onion rings and fries with some thyme salt which gave it a nice twist (only downside was $1 for a side of ranch, eh). A few minutes after our sides come out the main attraction came and it did not disappoint. The burger was a good size and came with your veggies on the side (lettuce, pickles, tomato) so you could dress as you choose. There was a lot going on with the burger itself so I didn't really touch the veggies. The burger itself was pretty darn good, definitely up there with some of the best I've had. The bun is nice and fluffy but not so dense as to ruin the taste of the whole. The patty was cooked to order (medium), the bacon was thick and crispy and the caramelized onions were nice and sweet. The cheese was good but a little too much as it kept on squirting out. Overall this place is a keeper with great burgers and sides. For those of you that want to be unique you can even customize your burgers a la The Counter. They also have a few other selections besides burgers such as sandwiches and soups. If there was one word to describe the layout it would be: Narrow. Our party was large and it took a few booths to sit us all, the waiters providing great service did their best. I had an entertaining table with Matt P, Anthony N, Jessica A, Chewy B and Jenny Y. Anthony N made a smart decision by ordering up a "jug-o-lug" of water for the table and took charge of stimulating conversations. Wholy Moly the Guinness Chocolate shake was so delicious! The chocolate striping the glass seemed like straight up Hershey's chocolate syrup... you know from the plastic squeezey bottle? =) Genius flavor combination, the slight bitterness of the Guinness is mellowed out by vanilla and milk, and sweetened by the chocolate. I saw this flavor when went to Scoops, next time I go I will have to order up a shake and do a taste comparison. ;) The sweet potato fries were so-so, I felt they had too much rosemary seasoning on it. Came in time for happy hour on a Friday, which ends at 6pm. I got the #1 burger, which tasted very good. As all the other yelpers mention, it was super bread-y, so I ended up removing most of my bread from the burger. The buns weren't even special in any way, which is why I didn't mind removing it. The fries were just okay and the onion rings were surprisingly thin and didn't have much breading to it-which was great-but the taste was mediocre in any case. With happy hour prices, though, it's worth it to get both, although you can choose to get half half. For two people getting their own burgers and drinks, I think half half is a wise decision. We definitely had leftovers after ordering whole servings for them. The Guinness milkshake was delicious! I liked how you could taste the alcohol so they weren't skimpy on that. We also made the wise decision to split it in half and the bar does that for you. If I could give this place a negative review, it would be an epic fail. My family were guests of the hotel, walked into the 24 hour establishment at 11:30, and proceeded to see if any seats were available. I walked towards an empty booth and without a beat, I was yelled at by the very surly woman bartender who called at me "Mam, Mam, what are you doing?!" I politely told her I was looking for a seat and she then yelled even louder that there was nothing available and to leave, even though there were empty tables. I have been also coming here for 10 years and It is very sad that this establishment allows this kind of treatment of their customers and hotel guests and doesn't care that they're guest are paying $400 a night to be treated like this from their staff. It's unforgiving and I hope everyone avoids this establishment at all cost. It may be a 100 year historic hotel, but they don't uphold those historic manners as their customer service is down right disgusting and unacceptable. read more

My daughter and I ventured over here after watching a morning rehearsal at the Hollywood Bowl. We don't frequent Hollywood Boulevard often so took a risk at trying 25 Degrees. Our Lyft driver dropped us off right out front of The Roosevelt Hotel. The staff behind the bar were helpful and luckily we arrived in front of the lunch crowd. This place is hopping. We ordered a Guinness shake and a chocolate banana shake. Both were delicious and plentiful. We shared a Number 3 burger which has mezzo secco jack cheese, hatch green chile, avocado, and chipotle. Onion rings sounded good, so we shared that too. The burger was cooked as we stated, came out cut down the middle and there was an extra plate alongside. Absolutely perfect on all accounts. Service: 5 stars Let us sit where we wanted, cleaned the booth for us, answered questions, respectful, told us to take our time after presenting the bill. I believe Roger was helping us out.
