Decided to eat at 3 Flavors after reading the reviews. I'm glad that I did. It's a small place in a strip mall along Airport Blvd and University, but do not let that fool you. They are cooking up some amazing food. I ordered the Coconut Soup and Shrimp Pad Thai. The coconut soup was delicious. The Shrimp Pad Thai was amazing. I can't wait to go back so I can sample more of their delicious recipes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Well, three flavors had a really bad night. I'm not sure I understand what happened but the Tom Kha soup was compromised with a pouring of vinegar. It was not edible. So there was some chaos, the ladies in the front did not get their food after over an hour of wait. It does not make sense because they were only three or four tables with customers at it. There was a lady in the bathroom for 45 minutes. I think she was ill. They forgot to bring somebody's meal at our table and after waiting over an hour with no comment or explanation things got a little testy. I had spicy tuna roll and there was tuna approximately the size of a toothpick down the center of the roll. The people at the table were very hangry,

I can't believe I've not left a review before now. We love this place! The diverse menu always gives us plenty of options to choose from (though honestly I order my favorite dish here every time). Even our friends who don't usually like Asian food like coming here. My favorite thing on the menu is the (pork) katsudon. It's just like I used to get when I lived in Japan! It's tender, crunchy, sweet, tangy, and umami. I love it so much and I don't want anything else when we come here. My husband usually enjoys the variety of Thai menu options. He likes the noodle dishes and curries. Our child usually gets shrimp pad thai because they love noodles and shrimp. We almost always get the gyoza for an appetizer because we all enjoy them. I especially enjoy the mango sticky rice for dessert when mangos are in season! The service is always good and friendly and we always have a good meal here. They've recently remodeled and the restaurant is much brighter with a new coat of paint, the addition of lots of track lights, and lovely new lights for the booths. Looks great!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant, hands down. They do have other things on the menu such as hibachi, Thai, and Japanese entrees, but I'm a sushi girl. The owner (Caesar) makes the sushi himself, and will happily oblige to special requests. Don't see what you want on the menu? Tell him what you like and he will create a roll just for you. He's a people pleaser, and goes the distance to make sure his customers are happy. He is from Thailand and makes everything as authentic as possible. The place is clean and cozy, and is great for date nights as well as group events or family outings. He does have a kids menu, and my kids RAVE about his chicken tenders. (They're boring, and not into trying new things.) Prices are very reasonable, and there is a lunch special during the weekdays. They have a Facebook page where they post photos daily of menu items as they're being served. It's a great way to see what they are if you prefer visuals. They also participate in the food delivery services (Waitr, etc) but I unfortunately live way out of their delivery range, otherwise I'd be getting my sushi fix way more often. It's worth the 40 minute drive for me though. I've not once had something on the menu that I wasn't happy with.

Green Vegetable Curry with a side of white rice

Don't let the outside fool you: My sister and I were looking a new spot because we LOVE Asian cuisine and visit many different places. This place DID NOT disappoint! From someone who has eaten at many different Thai and Japanese restaurants, 3 Flavors hit every spot for my sister and I. We will DEFINITELY be coming back. We left full, happy, and with enough leftover for another meal, so well worth the price! The staff were also very kind and their younger waiter was so so sweet. YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!

3 Flavors is hands down my favorite sushi place in all of Mobile County. The only downside I have found is that since they are so close to a church, they do not have a liquor license. I'm not a huge drinker but I do like a glass of wine with my sushi. They've got an extensive menu and if you don't see something specific, just ask the cook! He can make just about anything you request. It's always quiet, relaxed, and has excellent service. It's never too packed and you never have to wait too long for your food. The prices are very reasonable. We love this place!

If you want authentic Thai, this is the place. The kitchen is 100% operated by a genuine Thai cook, and the food reflects it. The weekday lunch especial can't be beat, it comes with a decent size bowl of soup (your choice) and two springrolls, you can alternatively select fried wonton instead. Word of caution, do not order Thai hot, because unless you are used to it, you may regret it. The attached pic was my lunch special, and "special" it was!!! YUM! Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

Underwhelming. I specifically asked for my Pad Prik Khing to be "Thai spicy," which all Thai establishments know means "please don't underestimate my tolerance of heat and serve it as you would to a family member." Some places ask, "1-5?" while others just assume "Thai spicy = 5. This was as bland as could be.I don't bother with Thai if it's not spicy. Luckily we got it to go and I was able to salvage it with a heaping tablespoon of chili garlic sauce. My husband's shrimp Pad Thai was also flavorless, tasting mostly of the bean sprouts. He did like the Tom Kha soup, but that's available everywhere. The kani salad was just okay. I am used to it being served in a spicy mayo sauce- this was served dry with ponzu on the side. I didn't care for it, but at least it tasted fresh. Long story short, there are better options for Thai in Mobile and we won't be returning. read more

OH MY !!!! If there was 6 STARS, I would give it to this place !!!! I have to agree with the other Yelpers that this place should have a line out the door. We have been here a few times and honestly, can not believe that it is not packed every day of the week. Where do I start ?? Staff is beyond friendly and accommodating. The menu has options for everyone, even vegetarian and children. They serve Thai, Cantonese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Laos, Indian, and a few other fusions. Everything we have ordered here has been reasonably priced, good portions and delicious. I have had food from many authentic Asian establishments with entree's upwards of $25.00 ea and this little unassuming place would give them a run for their money. This place is so ridiculously delicious with awesome service that I know, before long, they will be packed. AND IT SHOULD BE !! read more

After reading all the positive reviews I am so disappointed in this place. My boyfriend (vegetarian) and I went here a few weeks ago and we're not impressed. I can't remember what we had but I do remember my boyfriend ordering something with fried tofu (should be crispy if it's fried) and the tofu was soft and squishy. I didn't like the spring rolls at all. I wish I had more positive things to say about this place but we really didn't care for what we had and I didn't feel like what we paid was equal to the value of what we got. read more

And they continue with excellent service and the best Asian fusion food in the city. We were there late last night and our server Sarah (what is on the ticket) once again proved to be excellent professional and genuinely interested in being sure we had everything we needed. There Cashew Crunchy chicken is world class. Highly recommend this place.....just a small restaurant on Airport but worth finding. You will reset the bar as to what this kind of restaurant should be like. My favorite cook (a little older fellow) was not there and instead a younger chef was doing the food. It was excellent and maintained the standard for this place. Barvo to this little place.... try it out and see for yourself. read more

Loving this fusion restaurant! Friendly employees, great service & of course, delicious fare! The shumai has the option of being steamed or flash fried. Try them both ways! There's many options on the lunch & dinner menu. Sushi options are plentiful and there appears to be something for everyone on the menu. read more

I got the Bama Roll and the spicy tuna roll, both were great. We were the only people in the the whole place! We had great service and good food. However being the only people there, we got watched while we ate, that was the only downside. I don't understand how this place doesnt keep busy! read more

We tried the sushi, our friend had the pho, and we had two curries. Everything was excellent and the service was very good as well. We ended with Thai doughnuts and mango and sticky rice. Too much food but lunch for tomorrow is set! read more

By far my most frequented Thai restaurants in Mobile. Never busy, clean, great service, and the Tom yum soup is fantastic. I have had every curry dish on the menu and about 5 of the different sushi rolls. Not one complaint, this place is just good. If you don't give this place a try you are definitely missing out. read more

The place doesn't look like much (inside or out), but the food is some of the best Thai food in Mobile. I always get the beef and meatball pho, and my girlfriend gets the Tom Kha soup with sushi or fried rice. It's all terrific. It takes awhile to get your food because I'm pretty sure one person makes all of the food, and that person puts a lot of love into it. read more

Great lunch after church today. The restaurant is very clean and service is excellent. He spring rolls were delicious, as was my massaman curry. My mother said the pad thai was excellent as well. I love this place! I used to work next door and would call in a fast meal all the time. I lived in Thailand for awhile and the Thom Kha soup is QUALITY!!! I'd feel comfortable eating anything on the menu. Also, the customer service is top notch and I always feel valued. read more

My order consisted of the chicken ginger mediocre with white rice that was mushy, and chicken satay, which was rubbery chicken, tough to chew. flat on flavour. The house salad was very small and contained the ends lettuce when it turns light and white. Funny the only thing fresh and delightful was the cucumber and carrot side which was all of a tablespoon full. I have traveled all over the south to Key West, this is nothing I would make an effort to return to at all. The only thing nice was the wait staff and the clean appearance of the dining area. Stuffed in a strip mall I decided to try due to reviews here while the prices were reasonable, I was not at all impressed. Once you have had good Thai, you will know when you are eating crap. This is not good Thai at all. read more

This hidden gem is exceptionally good! The food is so flavorful and the presentation of each plate/platter is so beautiful. The restaurant is spotless and has received an "A" rating from Health Inspection (see document on wall). The owners are a sweet couple who work 7 days a week to keep their customers happy. The servers make you feel like VIPs and are very pleasant. This restaurant is a must try! read more

The decorations were Asian and Latin-inspired, with vibrant colors. I love the lighting and the seating arrangements. Knowing that we were there to try everything we ordered the following items Chicharron with queso The eggrolls Dumplings The fire nanchos Birria Ramen Regular pork ramen Honey chicken tacos Regular fries Pear martini and pineapple old fashion. unquestionably everything we ordered was fantastic. Our waitress was very on top of her game. She made sure our drinks never stopped being filled, and she followed up multiple times to ensure that we truly were enjoying our meal. The next time my family visits, I plan to take them straight from the airport to this restaurant because the atmosphere, food, and vibe are all great.

It didn't take long for my order to be ready. This was a plus because I didn't have worry about being away from my work computer too long. When I got home the first thing I noticed were the fries were very hot. I mean so hot I didn't have touch them to find out. The box was on fire almost. They also provided ketchup packets. The fries were hot and delicious and not too salty. They had a real crunch that I like on my crinkle cut fries. Now the sandwich was a perfect complement to the fries. It was so delicious. I don't have the name of the greens we're on the salad but I'm pretty sure they're used in a lot of Asian dishes that I've had before. The carrots added a little crunch to the sandwich as well. Now the meat part of the sandwich was glorious. The pork and other meats were blended so well with the spices that it created a very glorious taste. It was so good. 5 stars.

Everything looked promising at first -- nice menu, good presentation -- but one bite in and I started wondering if they ran out of sauce halfway through training. The chicken was a bit overcooked, the vegetables were spot-on, but without any sauce to pull it together, the dish felt like an unfinished thought. The salad was there for moral support, and the gyoza was the one shining star -- crispy, flavorful, and seemingly made by someone who still believed in flavor. It's not bad food, just kind of... indifferent. Like that coworker who clocks in early but spends the day rearranging paperclips. Rice could be great with just a little more passion -- or, you know, sauce.

At Quickly they have a huge selection of every flavor instant-ramen/ramyun you could think of. The only ONE negative thing is I couldn't find any instant tteokbokki packs (it's my favorite snack food, legitimately). They also have a huge selection in their ice cream shop, korean corn dogs (do I need to mention I'm drooling again?), and abilities to make drinks. I got a red bull infused mixed drink and it was fab. They also cute kawaii toys for purchase in the store side. That brings me to the claw kingdom. WILD. I felt like I transported to Japan fr. I worked so hard and eventually won a little hello kitty charm toy and a friggin hedgehog stuffy. I don't want to talk about how much money I spent on tokens, it's irrelevant. Hahaha. Anyway, yall go check out Quickly, Hero Claw Kingdom, and Chamay. It's super cool. I'm rating a 4/5 because out of the 100+ instant packs of food, not ONE tteokbokki was found.

The calamari wasn't bad but it wasn't really good either like it wasn't worth $10 the takoyaki(octopus dough balls) we're fine when they were blazing hot but then when they cooled down, they were fishy, and this octopus was really chewy and it was completely raw on the inside. I was like licking dough off of my gums the pho didn't taste good. The chicken Ramen didn't taste very good either and it comes with a marinated soy sauce, jam, egg, but it was so sweet. The sushi we got the shrimp tempura roll. It was practically just cucumber and some kind of cream. I think it was cream cheese. I don't know, but that's all I could taste. One thing I do recommend is their Bulgogi bowls. The kimchi that came with it was really good but they give you more kimchi than they do actual Bogo beef but what you do get out of the Bulgogi beef is so good it was delicious and it's the only thing I would even get again. My brother got the chicken tenders. They were huge and he seemed to really like them, but they were really really oily like they were dripping oil. The ice cream was really yummy. I really liked it. They had a fun variety. They also had a bunch of different snacks all over the wall. I would definitely buy the snacks if I were to go again, but not the food except for the bulgogi. Anyways, Food aside the inside was actually really pretty. I liked it. It gives early 2000s. and it's connected to a mochi donut shop. I didn't get to try the donuts this time but I bought the ice cream from there. My only gripe is that the bathroom was pretty dirty but to be fair we went at like four or 5 PM so you know it's just a bad time to go if you want a fresh bathroom anyways nothing against the owners were the employees. This was just my experience and what I ate. Maybe they have different things on the menu that are good but yeah I hope this helps someone planning to go there next and and try to give a more realistic expectation so they can decide if they want to go there or not we had to drive a long way there. We had somewhat of a high expectation, but those were not met.

They have hibachi at the large tables if you want to go that route or you can dine at a regular table or booth. The bar is beautiful and well stocked. Sushi is done well. The "Ramen" is literally just the same noodles as real ramen. Served in the same bad cabbage soup as udon with raw carrots. The entire dish tastes of raw carrots and cabbage. They use fake pictures. read more
