Decent enough and right on 16th St Mall and close to Grand Hyatt. Peach margarita on the rocks was tasty, others had cadillac and liked those. Free chips and spicy salsa. Shared nachos with pulled chicken, good snack for 3ppl. The restaurant is pretty big. They have a huge bar and lots of high tops around that. It is in a building that's over 100 years old in the ceiling is pretty ornate. It originally operated as a theater. Prices are pretty standard for the area and Mexican food. Enjoy! read more

I've been going to this place like I worked here, no kidding! I've discovered that they make yummy margaritas! Look up their different flavors! I recommend trying them all and settle on one to say you have a favorite! Don't be like me. A piggy who likes everything! Secretly though I'm a mango maniac. So I think I order the mango margarita PURÉE more so than others So if you know me you know I love steaks. I've found my go to here. It's when I feel hungry, when I introduce someone to this place for the first time, it's for when I just feel like eating, it's for days when I feel like what the heck , why not eat more? It's the Grilled Steak! This is my bff. The flavor just really suits me. It's loaded with flavor from the beans and that skirt steak- you can enjoy it on its own without feeling guilty that you've left it's partner the beans alone. The service here is fast, attentive and and always on point. Food is always served hot and colorful! The patio. I'm actually a big skeptic about this patio seating business. Especially facing 16th St. Although I'm becoming less and less everyday. Since moving into the neighborhood in a high rise I'm becoming more comfortable visiting 16th St. And actually enjoying it. Although quite honestly I still am "afraid". probably the best enchilada I have ever had, I substituted the black beans for refried beans, they were awesome, flavorful and great rice. It was understaffed but our waiter took great care of us. Chips and salsa were good. We had a party of 9 as we were individuals they couldn't split the ticket so a couple of us who had cards weren't too happy! read more

Antonio was our server. He did such a great job of taking care of the guests making our margaritas and his service is phenomenal. The food was amazing! The fresh margaritas with fresh squeezed orange juice taste more like a juice than a margarita. It was so fresh and clean. We went on a busy Monday evening! We decided to sit at the bar where the host was able to seat us quickly. Very friendly man! The bartenders were super busy making giant margaritas. We had the QR code in the bar and scanned for the menu. We weren't sure the first go around when the bartender came by what we wanted to eat and it was so busy that it took her a bit longer to come back and get our order. We got the steak quesadilla and chips and queso. Both were pretty good. We didn't get served any chips and salsa even though we saw the people around us with it so not sure if it's complimentary or you have to order it but it's not on the menu. Fun place but a little too busy for me and possibly very touristy just based on location. read more

The food was terrible. I ordered the most expensive entre--pork shanks in mole sauce. The pork was so overcooked (deep fried) that it tasted like jerky. The waiter was polite but never asked about our food. At $150 for two of us, I expected something much better. read more

The first time was around 11:30 on a Thursday night. We had a few cocktails along with a cheese and charcuterie plate. The second time was around 12:30 on a Saturday night when we came in for a night cap. The first time we came in, it wasn't too busy, and we were encouraged to sit wherever we wanted. The bar was full so we chose a small table. Our server gave us menus, though specials were written on a chalkboard above the bar. We each tired a couple of cocktails and had a shot called the Master Shot. We also chose the make-your-own charcuterie board. Our favorite drink was the Woo Girl, which allowed us to choose our spirit of choice. I chose gin and my friend chose tequila. When we returned a couple of nights later, we knew already we were going to order the Woo Girl cocktail. It was packed on a Saturday night, but there was a small table in back where they seated us. This bar is more for spending time with the friends you come with, rather than mingling, as staff seats you at a table. It doesn't seem like they offer standing room or just squeezing in, though maybe we just didn't experience that. That said, all in all, I really enjoyed Bedlam and recommend it to anyone going to Denver.

When she arrived at the POS station - behind the bar about six feet from where we were sitting - she proceeded to complain about the "a-holes" (edited for language) using the Passbook and what a bunch of a-holes those customers were (not knowing we were in earshot). And when the bartender - who knew who we were and that we could hear everything - said in a hushed tone "No, they were nice" she proceeded to tell him that she didn't care and that they're just a-holes. I've never been treated so shoddy in my life in a restaurant for no other reason than using a promotional discount that they voluntarily participated in. It's bad enough to attack your customers for using a discount. But doing it behind the bar where customers can hear you is beyond unacceptable. And doing it when the customers you're talking about are within earshot is the most offensive thing I've ever expereinced at a restaurant. You may go to Steuben's and have a nice meal, but just be aware that behind the bar, they're talking about what an a-hole you are.

"I was excited to try 3 margaritas for the first time, and while I appreciate the warm and lively atmosphere, our experience was unfortunately marred by some avoidable mistakes. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed, forgetting our orders multiple times and appearing incoherent or under the influence of nothing at times. The food arrived before our drinks, which was a bit annoying . Additionally, the Happy Hour margaritas were too sweet and lack and taste of tequila for our taste. To top it off, the bill arrived while we were still eating, and we had to ask for napkins and silverware and water . The restaurant wasn't busy so no need for the poor customer service Despite these issues, I still believe they have a potential.
