I came here a few years ago and was not impressed with the customer service. It has been a while and I always hear so many great things on social media so I planned a breakfast date here for my mom and I this morning. When walking in I was never greeted. I was visibly unsure of how the flow worked. I went to the front register and questioned if I order first or do we sit..... Both ladies up front were clearly annoyed that I didn't know. I ordered Avo Toast and when asking about the egg choices again BOTH ladies were annoyed that I was not familiar with the menu. I did feel like you must be part of their "regular" club to have the nicer customer service. The Avo toast was great. So yummy! The bread was so fresh and perfect combo of soft and crusty. I do wish they would have had a real fried egg for the top but no complaints on the food. We both had 2 mimosas and they were great. read more

I was waiting five plus minutes for an iced coffee yesterday after I paid and TIPPED and one of the servers had the audacity to come out and call me out for them taking too long to make something that should have taken a minute or less at the window because I gave them a honk, especially since I was the only one in the car line and only wanting a quick ice coffee. Super rude and I don't appreciate someone else being served and driving off, pickup order or not, before I get a simple iced coffee that should have been made and given at the window. Next time just apologize and leave it at that and say you'll do better next time and don't try to challenge the customer saying it did not take too long when it did. Uncomfortable and don't really wanna come back, I have been coming here for years. Don't make people paying your bills feel bad for your poor service. read more

Cold rainy night and I was craving Hot Cocoa, so I decided to go to an old favorite 32 Shea. I was hoping the remodeling had been completed but alas it wasn't. When we arrived they informed us that they were closing early on Saturday night. There was a fair amount of customers seated and that came into the place while we were there. The hot cocoa with almond milk was delicious as were the Apple Brie Bruschetta and Lavash. It seems that they don't have a date when the remodeling will be completed yet. Even with the cold rainy weather and closing early, the staff was very friendly and repeatedly said that we not to rush and enjoy our meal. Several other customers stopped in and picked up take out, it seems that I am one of the many loyal patrons. I anxiously await the remodel completion and dare I dream that they could ever open a second location in Scottsdale? Scottsdale could really use such a restaurant!! read more

Came for the special root beer waffle...don't come for that, it wasn't very root beer at all. ‍ The rest of the food was good but nothing spectacular. The turkey and cranberry sandwich was the best of what we got but just a basic sandwich. I got the short rib burrito...it was basically missing short rib and was mostly potato. Visiting from out of town and found this local coffee shop. I got an early bird sandwich with Turkey. My friends got burritos and a crossaint sandwich. The salsa served with burritos had zero spice but my friends said their burritos were flavorful. I was expecting a traditional English muffin but it looked more like white bread. This place is adorable! It looks like a cute little neighborhood diner but they have a ton of healthy options, which I always appreciate. I tried the green smoothie, which was u I wud AND delicious, including protein, avocado, and about a million other surprising ingredients designed to help start your day. I also got the avocado toast, which was beautiful and filling, in addition to being perfectly prepared. Everything was so fresh! The service was super friendly. We came very early on a Sunday morning on the way to the airport, so I was pleased and surprised that a place like this was even open. It's been hard to watch this place get less of a community feel and I really hope that turns back around This has been a go-to spot for YEARS.... Gorgeous patio that's dog friendly, great lattes, a (previously) super friendly customer service. At times I still get that last bit, but it's been 50/50 these last several months. Like the other night when I came for a date night it was stellar! But then today and one day last week, both times myself and someone else were waiting in line to order and there were 3 separate people behind the counter chatting and maybe one was working on a coffee order and one was playing with silverware with the third just hanging out...not a single one even acknowledged the customers standing there. Another woman working across the place noticed (yes I caught her Quick Look of frustration at her coworkers - only because I'm trained to notice these things) and came over finally. As I hung out to do work and eat, 2 of the 3 that had ignored me were friendly again - but now I have no idea if that was genuine, or if they got chastised by the coworker and their behavior was pointed out, causing them to want to make amends. All in all the food is still delicious. I would even argue that it's worth the amount of price increase that has happened at this place in the past couple of years. So 50-50 service to me doesn't warrant knocking a bunch of stars off. Though admittedly, I did almost give this three stars. But this no longer feels like a 5 Star place read more

I've been coming here for the last couple of months and it's great. The Nutella mocha is incredible and it's almost impossible to resist stopping in when I pass by. We found the entrance and were greeted by a hipster barista. We ordered two lattes, one was a Nutella mocha which was wonderful. I ordered a soy milk latte and it was smooth and flavorful. I also ordered an everything bagel which was just right for a quick snack. We sat outside on the patio that contains a number of tables and a cool tree as well as a fountain. It is a quiet oasis where you can relax and enjoy your coffee. There were a number of birds keeping us company. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
