The spot is nice to come kick it because they play music and have some games. Idk if that's their norm but daquiri flavors were limited to only 4 the night I went. They let me sample them and I ended up getting a mix but it was so sweet and I didn't taste any alcohol which is always good IMO but I didn't feel any either and that was disappointing. Man, this place is greatness. Just easy, relaxed and welcoming. They offer Mexican, Cajun and burgers. Strange but awesome. I tried the spicy beef boudin link and the seafood boudin balls and gosh almighty it is legit. The guys running the shop are so helpful and friendly. I'm coming back for the burger. Didn't have enough room in the tank left this trip but watched a couple go out and those burgers looks legit. The guys eating them said they were really tasty.Oh, almost forgot to mention their daiquiris. Great flavors from the tried and true Pina Coladas to fun stuff like 190 Octane and Liquid Marajuana. Let me start by saying it's a great concept, when I found it, the address caught my eye and I was excited! It's next to Elaine's so it has to be amazing ! If you are a Cantina, you hv to hv fresh made chips n salsa. Its pretty easy to make n cheaper actually then buying bagged chips n jar salsa. Presentation , plates edges should be wiped before sending to tables and plated better for a restaurant. It was just typical basic food that you can get at someones home, not mine but someone's. Its like a game night at a friend's cousins house food Nachos(shrimp/chicken)/13.00~ The chips are bag round chips n I had a lot of broken pieces like the end of the bag ones. The cheese sauce for the nachos was just basic can cheese sauce, very thick not elevated at all. And the glob of sour cream was just sour cream which could be elevated as well...... The chicken was Thigh meat which nothing was wrg with it but i didn't hv much of it to say hit or miss but I had plenty of cheese sauce. I also got shrimp, and they were whole medium size they were seasoned n came with 4 pieces, the pico was soft and watery but ok Quesadillas(Chicken)/7.00~ Was ok, nothing spectacular. I come here 3 times a week! The cook is very friendly and knows everyone who comes in. His best plates in my opinion would be the nachos, shrimp quesadilla and wings. Every thing taste great! I walked in and was greeted with smiles and a warm welcome in. Good music was being played as well as multiple TV's playing the games that were on. I ordered Tacos and dang they were good, fresh, and you could tell some TLC was put into them. The menu is a variety of tasty treats and to top it off, they sell alcohol! The Daiquiri's are all delicious and they also have beer! Everything is well priced which was a huge plus! Family owned and operated which I thought was really awesome as well! We were visiting Dallas with our kids for a cheerleading competition. Being from out of town I often turn to Yelp to find good places to eat while traveling. My daughter and I love Mexican and I was excited to try this place based on the reviews. Unfortunately being from out of state, we are not familiar with the City's neighborhoods and this did not seem like a safe area at all. The building and parking lot is surrounded by an iron fence and there are bars on the windows. I was not impressed with the decor. The floor is unfinished concrete and the ceiling has exposed air ducts. I guess they were going for the "industrial" look. It did not appear to be as clean as the reviewers indicate. On the tables were rolls of hand towels you might find in a rest room instead of napkins. There is no wait service. You have to order at the bar, which is fine but people kept just walking right in front of us and the guy at the counter would take their order instead of ours when it was clear we were waiting. I am sure it was quite obvious we were out of towners. There is no board with menu items. They have about three menus in plastic sleeves and one taped to the counter. We ordered queso and chips, 2 shrimp taco platter , 2 chicken taco platter and 9 wings. My husband ordered a beer and I ordered a liquid marijuana daiquiri. Then we sat and waited...and waited..and waited some more. We arrived at 6:20. Several people came in after us and were served ahead of us. At 7:10 my husband went to the counter and asked if we could at least have our drinks. The daiquiri was very tasty. Unfortunately we did not get our food until about 7:45 and had to take it to go because we needed to get to our other daughter by 8 pm. The staff was friendly and apologized for the wait. To make up for it, they gave us three tacos on each platter instead of 2, 18 wings instead of 9, threw in an order of fries and topped off my daiquiri in the to-go cup. Once back at the hotel, I finally got to try the food. I have to say, the tacos were delicious as were the beans and rice. My husband also enjoyed his wings. The chips and queso were also very good. The fries probably would have been better if they were eaten fresh and hot because they kind of steamed in the styrofoam container. If my review was based on the food alone I would give it 5 stars but I deducted 2 for the wait and location. read more

Its been there for over a year and didnt even know it was there until I asked where to go to wash my cloths near by. They said they own the launtry matt too. I want into the alcohol, not at that time of the day, but the burger basket was worthy. It is actually worth going out of the way for. So you you need to do your laundry, come on an empty stomach and try the burger basket. They have other menu Items like catfish baskets. The bruger was my first thing I tried from there and I tore that plate up faster than I could do with Mc Donalds or Jack n The Box. My final praise is that the laundry matt was clean.
