Had a really good time at this coffee shop- it's very clean chic and cute. My friend and I both ordered that in injeolmi latte which is a speciality or signature latte. There's a couple other lattes that I was very interested in trying like the rose latte. We also ordered some pastries like a chocolate vanilla muffin and a sugar waffle and both were excellent. Hands down my favorite coffee spot in Ktown. It's on 6th and Harvard, right in the middle of the action and it's the best place to come study in the middle of the day. I was also impressed that they use beans from Stereoscope Coffee, one of my favorite coffee shops in the Orange County. However, when I tried the Iced Misu Latte the next morning, it was not the same as the one I had the night before. I even purchased four cups of Iced Misu Latte for myself and others because I really enjoyed the taste. The one I had on Wednesday morning was much heavier in grain flavor and thicker in texture, and I couldn't taste the coffee very well. It was like a smoothie with grain flavoring. I'm tempted to gatekeep this place! Great coffee, pastries, and ambiance, and I've enjoyed each time I've visited. There's a decent amount of street parking inside, and you can also park in the lot behind the shop (though it may incur a separate charge). I love how this place stays open late for late workers/studiers like myself. There's a decent amount of seating - a few couches, bar seats, and an outdoor patio - and some outlets, which would make this a great place to stay and get some work done by yourself or with a friend. I imagine in the warmer months, the patio seating would be just divine! Noise levels were never too disturbing, either. Drinks wise, I've tried the Misu Latte (my fave), the Injeolmi latte (my partner's fave), and the orange latte (I don't remember the name but this was also good). All lattes were sweet, but not TOO overwhelmingly sweet, and well-flavored/spiced so it doesn't taste like a basic plain latte. My only recommendation for the baristas would be, on the orange latte, to stir the syrup well with the milk before adding ice so that the orange flavor doesn't get stuck at the bottom! I've also tried the sticky bun and misu cookie, which were both delicious. Both were sweet, and again, not too sweet. Third wave coffee shop in the heart of Koreatown. The interior is stylish and modern, with ample bar seating. They also have a covered patio, which was lovely to sit on. 3THYME serves Stereoscope coffee. Their bakery case was well stocked with house made croffles, as well as pastries from Bread Lounge and bagels from Bagel Broker. I got their Injeolmi Latte, which was decadent to the point of being a dessert. Ultra sweet and creamy without being cloying, the flavors of the rice powder worked wonderfully with the perfectly pulled espresso. This drink is outstanding, and definitely worth $7. The Sugar Croffle was also very good, albeit a little oily. The staff were polite. This shop loses one star for its dirty communal bathroom and subpar wifi. Second time around, just ok. Biggest thing is wifi was spotty. Some outlets were also loose, and my charger fell out the wall. Pros: even though they were busy, they are well staffed and equipped to handle it. Lavender cream latte I got was pretty good, albeit expensive as expected. I wish they didn't put the lavender buds on top, because it makes for a weird drinking experience imo. Seating is plenty. Cons: I did not find the misu latte enjoyable, which is regrettable because it's an $8 commitment. 5G wifi went in and out as I was there. Generally good experience, but not the best place to study. I loved their injeolmi latte. I got it decaf and still tasted good. It had some cinnamon and I think that might be a bit overpowering the injeolmi taste for some people. But overall, loved the drink. Cute place to study! Came here with my partner earlier this weekend. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating with shade. Wifi was spotty but probably because there were already quite a few people using it when we got here. After people left, we connected with the wifi just fine and had no issues with it. I usually street park at this location but there is also a valet option if you can't find a spot. There's a bathroom really close by, but you need to get the key from the cashier to get in. It's hard to find coffee spots that are open after dinner these days--so many places that used to be open late have curbed their hours since COVID. On a day when I'd gotten a bit of a late start, I was pleased to learn that 3THYME, a new addition to K-Town's coffee scene, was open until 10 p.m. Pictures of the interior (and its good Yelp reviews) were inviting, so I decided to take the plunge. It's just off busy 6th Street in a small mall. The mall itself could have better signage--apparently there's valet parking which I didn't explore, as I'm a diehard street parking person and I lucked into a spot--but 3THYME itself is beautiful, a little oasis inside an otherwise somewhat forlorn, nondescript-seeming mall. The cafe interior is industrial chic, with a number of small tables and, better yet, a long counter area where you can switch off between sitting and standing (which I love to do if it's an option). Outside is a sheltered, somewhat enclosed (but open air) patio that is just above street level--great for those taking COVID precautions or just wanting to take advantage of our good weather while avoiding being hassled by passersby. (Probably bring a sweater if it's cool--I didn't see heaters.) The baristas are friendly--huge plus for not chasing people out at closing time, which I've seen many other places do--and I ordered a mocha and a chocolate chip cookie. The mocha was solid (maybe a hair sweeter than I prefer, so I may ask them to slightly reduce that next time), and I'm not sure where they get their cookies from, but the cookie was soft and delicious. Only negative: I'd love to see them serve their drinks in ceramic (or similar) cups rather than disposable/to-go cups. I asked the barista about that, and he told me they're definitely considering that, but given how new they are, it was taking time to acquire the cups. So hopefully in the next few months, this will change. (COVID created a ton of extra waste due to safety precautions that turned out to be unnecessary; now that we know it's not transmitted easily through surfaces, we need to get back to more environmentally friendly practices.) While I can't speak to the outlet situation throughout--I didn't do full reconnaissance--there are at least some outlets under the counter and I know there were at least some outside as well. Also, I noted a review that said the WiFi was problematic here, but I was doing work for over 3 hours and had no issues accessing any sites, my email, etc. (Occasionally, somebody can have an issue somewhere on a particular day or perhaps because of their computer configuration--it's happened to me--and it sounds like that was the case in that review.) So as far as I can tell, this is a great place to work or study--just don't take my counter seat! read more

Ohhh after having these specialty lattes I'm just in awe of what can be done with the magical fruit with added ingredients. I started with the Misu latte that came with a Korean grain blend, now I've had this drink in its traditional form and I just love it and now I find it in a latte form?! Forget about it! It's a definite delicious winner with my tastebuds after the first sip! The next drink I had was their Injeolmi latte that had cinnamon and that Korean soybean blend I enjoy so much. Both drinks were on point but you only can get them iced but it's all good baby baby! The awesome barista also recommended the lavender cream that came out looking gorgeous and it also delivered with flavor and it's also topped off with lavender buds to make it extra picturesque. Stumbled upon this super cute coffee shop in Ktown! Parking is always hit or miss in this area, but we managed to find metered parking near by. The staff was super friendly and there are a bunch of tables inside and outside on their patio to study or catch up with a friend. My friend ordered the Rose Cream Latte and I ordered the Injeolmi Latte with oat milk! Both lattes were very aesthetic, creamy and filled with flavor. The injeolmi latte was soybean flavor forward, which was super unique for this coffee shop, but not sure if I'd get it again in a coffee drink. The rose cream latte was fragrant and had a perfect balance between espresso and flavor. Nasty coffee, yet another style over substance spot in LA Came on a Sunday morning with some friends, it is located in a little plaza that can be hard to find if you dont look at the map properly MIZU COFFEE: 0/10 like grainy cardboard water, unpalateable. The barley flavor is very strong and off putting INJEOLMI COFFEE: 4/10 sandy latte. No injeolmi/soybean flavor, which is disappointing. But the drink is super chalky and grainy in texture from the injeolmi powder, which feels like sand in the mouth ESPRESSO TONIC: 5/10 coffee lemonade! The tonic and lemon have a strong zing. Stopped by because I was in the area and ordered their misu latte and matcha tonic. The matcha tonic wasn't the bitter uji flavor I'm used to -- it's more a sweet, carbonated lemonade-like drink that I didn't have to pretend to enjoy. Highly recommend! The misu latte is an easy 10/10, but if you're not good with caffeine, I believe you can ask for less espresso Ambiance: I had my laptop with me, so I sat down a while to read and work. Solid coffee spot in Los Angeles, the quality of the coffee as well as the friendly attitude of the staffs exceeded all my expectations! Their signature Misu latte is a MUST TRY. It has a grainy/toasty flavor with a hint of espresso that makes an appearance towards the end. The latte was also well balanced. The espresso flavor and milk ratio was perfect. They also made a cute latte art on top that I was not able to get a picture of, but overall the drink was delicious and incredibly smooth. A new coffee spot in ktown! Slightly hidden in a building, there are two entrances and a small parking lot. My friend and I got here at about 10.30am on a Monday and it was pretty empty, plenty of seating available. I got the espresso tonic and my friend got the misu latte ($6 each). I didn't realise that the espresso tonic came in the smaller 12oz cup while the misu latter came in the regular 16oz size, so I was slightly disappointed with the price point because of the size. The drink itself was delicious, I loved the pop of lemon from the dehydrated lemon that was floating on top. The tonic water they used was also pretty good and didn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth. My friend's misu latte was also pretty good, but it is quite sweet, so I would recommend starting off with half sweet and trying it before adjusting the sweetness level. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as good wifi! Just note that the outdoor tables and chairs can be quite wobbly, but it's still really cute. Overall, a nice visit for both of us and I would return in the future if I'm in the area. read more
