I grabbed a couple of sliced bagels with garlic herb cream cheese for delivery. Devoured. Needless to say, the very next morning... I came to try the Vietnamese coffee because I heard good things from coworkers. I also decided to grab a bagel too. The coffee ok, not that sweet but very strong tasting and had a weird aftertaste. The bagel was really good, but had too much cream cheese. I originally was going to try the Asiago cheese one but they did not have any in stock. They were also running low on a lot of bagels and this was around 11:45 in the morning. They should have had the majority of the bagels in stock. One of the few places in the area near our Air BnB/the anime con to get fast breakfast and the fact that they have boba that early in the morning is pretty nice! Our orders came out piping hot with a generous amount of cream cheese smear. We got the: 1) Pink Guava Tea: -You have the option of black or green tea, so I opted for green tea and I asked for this to be less sweet. -This was still pretty sweet even with the adjustment, but it was a good amount of drink and after being diluted by the ice, it was much more palatable. -Nice sweet guava nectar flavor mixed with the light taste of tea. Simple but nice. 2) Sesame Bagel + Jalapeno Cream Cheese: -Real bits of jalapeno in the cream cheese and the bagel was completely encrusted in an abundant amount of sesame seeds which added a satisfying crunchy texture to the already toasted bagel. 3) Onion Bagel + Garlic Herb Cream Cheese: -Also generously encrusted in onions and the garlic herb cream cheese was super garlicky and perfect for any garlic lovers out there. I'd honestly buy the cream cheese by the tub on its own since it's just that good. My biggest issue though was that both of the bagels were partially burnt. Not overly toasted or slightly charred but black sided burnt and I just had to eat around it since everything else was perfect. My experience today was extremely disappointing and has unfortunately solidified my decision not to return. I placed a simple order for a green juice and ended up waiting over 35 minutes with no updates or communication from staff. During that time, I watched at least three other customers receive their iced coffee drinks -- all ordered well after mine. What stood out most wasn't just the long wait, but the complete lack of coordination and accountability among the staff. No one checked in, no one apologized, and there seemed to be no system in place to manage the flow of orders or ensure timely service. If there are known delays with certain items, like green juices, that information should be communicated clearly at the time of ordering -- not left for customers to discover after an extended, frustrating wait. I work right across the street at 200 Pine and had hoped this spot could be a convenient go-to. But after this experience -- and hearing similar complaints from several of my coworkers -- it's clear that slow, inconsistent service is a recurring issue here. For a place that seems to handle a high volume of quick coffee orders, it's disappointing to see how poorly they manage anything outside of that narrow focus. I will start off by saying, idk if the owners name is Randy or not but there is an older gentleman there that is back there making the coffee, almost every-time I go and when he's there he makes the coffee perfect and my bagels come out insanely good. EVERY TIME. He is very nice and attentive and gives really great service. When he's not there the service can be a little under. Not drastically, but some may a bit of an attitude.... I mean I get it. It's 6am - 9am rush, I'm no morning person either but one thing that can set my day off is if I'm not getting what I paid for..... I order a Bacon, egg and cheese Asiago spinach bagel with chive cream cheese and an iced caramel macchiato and the older gentleman makes the coffee perfect, my bagel also isn't that messy when I open it falling apart, the next day I order the same exact thing, ice caramel macchiato, Bacon egg and cheese Asiago spinach bagel with chive cream cheese, it comes to me messy, and unsweetened? I feel like they have their act together when he is there and when he not, they are a little annoyed to be there so early and can be a little careless. I grew up eating 5th Ave balgery in Buena Park and both are equally good but something about the service when the owner is there is slightly different. Just my opinion. I would have given a five star but I'm going off my own personal observation. Now will I still continue to come? ABSOLUTELY! Food is still edible. Coffee still drinkable. Was in town for Cali Vibes last weekend and walked around town looking for coffee and a quick affordable breakfast. We passed this place on the way to Recreational coffee and circled back to get a breakfast sandwich. There was a line of people, but it moved fast. I got the ham omelette sandwich on whatever bagel was available (I was here around 10 a.m. on a Saturday). I thought the sandwich was ok. It did come out of the kitchen piping hot so I know they made it fresh. The bagel was cheddar and it wasn't an overpowering cheddar at all. My sister had some sort of lox sandwich with bean sprouts and she thought it was good and that the bagel was fresh. They also had their own parfaits that came in a big boba cup container that looked really appetizing and a package of 3 boiled eggs that they made in-house and packaged themselves so there are other options available besides bagels. And the service was great-- from the cashier to the ladies serving the drinks and sandwiches to people... everyone was so nice. Things we ordered: Chocolate bagel with blueberry cream cheese- this combo was amaaazzzinnggg. There were visible blueberry pieces mixed into the cream cheese. So good! Spinach Parmesan bagel with regular cream cheese- couldn't taste the spinach flavor too much bc it was overpowered by the parmesan, but it was still delicious. Veggie Deluxe on a jalapeño cheddar bagel- cream cheese, tomato, red onion, cucumber, avocado, and lemon pepper. this was so heavenly. It was the perfect balance of fresh and bright while also being rich and creamy. The lemon pepper just made the flavors pop. I already want another one now!!! Vietnamese iced coffee- 24 oz of crack in a cup. Very strong so let the ice melt a little to water it down. Reminds me of the Vietnamese coffee from Lee's! Yum! Their bagels are soft on the inside and have a nice almost crunchy bite to the outside. And look at their flavor selection!!! On our morning walk we found this bagel shop. We had to try it. It is easy to spot from the walk way or if you are driving by. The inside decor is small and with plenty of spaced seats. All seating and coffee prep area was clean to perfection. You can tell they take extra effort to clean it daily. You will order at the counter when you arrive. The service we got was perky and wholesome. That made our good morning even better. They will deliver your food to you at a table. The drinks you will have to pick up at the counter. They announced the drink made. It is an honor system to make sure you are getting yours. The lox bagel I had was a nice combination of cream cheese, lox, and red onion. They do provide capers with the lox bagel. They also provide a pickle spear. I did not ask about military discount. If you are visiting the shopping center part of long beach. Parking: this is downtown Long Beach so there might not be too much Service: it was good. (Got this first time and second time) I also came here on the second time for the muffins to share. Don't have a photo for that tho There aren't many places I've found that had garlic bagels so I took my opportunity. It was alright The amount of cream cheese you get varies per employee. The variety of bagel flavors was nice tho! The minus one star is the muffins. I got mini ones to share and one regular sized muffin. All of them soaked the parchment bag they were in and the mini ones were fresh(I assumed) because they were in the tray still but when the employee picked it up it kept breaking off. We stumbled upon this cute little Bagelry & I'm very glad we did. The customer service was so good & they got our order out hot, fresh, & speedy. We took a while looking over all the different yummy options. They have bagels, bagel sandwiches, and also fresh juices, smoothies, & loose leaf teas. We went with a peach tea with lychee jellies and it was so delicious and refreshing. Love a good tea! We got the veggie deluxe & they top it with lemon pepper and it was delicious. Also got a turkey BLTA and it was hot & yummy as well. We got a spinach Asiago bagel and the pesto bagel and both with perfectly toasted. Can't wait to come back and try some more options! read more

I'm not sure who's running this place but they are doing a horrible job and have been for a while. If you're not there before 10am you can forget about getting any sourdough or sometimes plain bagels. The last 4 times I've come they say they ran out and it's not even 11 o'clock. I can only assume they don't make the bagels and have to have them brought in hence the reason they are always out and never have them ready to come out. Nothing is ever fresh or hot. read more

I tend to come here for breakfast whenever I'm in Long Beach and this past Wednesday(7.27.2022) I did just that. This time around I ordered a Denver omelette sandwich because I wanted to try something new. I normally get their bacon, cheese, egg breakfast sandwich. So I was very excited to try out the Denver omelette. Naturally anything new is exciting right? Oh how wrong I was! I don't know if it was whoever made this sandwich on this day or if staff is just expected to do the following but how could you possibly add black avocado to a sandwich? The uncooked bacon is crazy because anyone could get sick from uncooked pork, as you can see in the picture below. And the black avocado too??? I don't normally check my order because I just assume the food will at least look presentable if it doesn't taste good. If you choose to come here think again. Got home from a long vacation and ordered from Here on DoorDash because my fridge was empty. I put lightly toasted for 2 of my 3 bagels ordered. All 3 came burnt. Not just a tiny whoops. But Burt on all edges. The one that didn't specify lightly toasted was singed on a whole side. One of my lightly toasted bagels was supposed to be their PBJ but the special request for no jelly just peanut butter was too much apparently because that bagel came with butter only??? I'm shocked. Can't go wrong with a delicious breakfast and this is the place to have one. Friend took us here before golf and what a great decision that was. The lox cream cheese bagel on a spinach bagel was so good I couldn't wait to take a bite. Very flavorful and need to come back and have another. The orange juice is very delicious and fresh. I don't know why I haven't written a review for this place but ever since it opened, we've come and enjoyed many different bagels and sandwiches and muffins here with our little boy. He's always loved blueberry muffins so those are a definite must! The OJ is fresh and deliciously sweet! I like getting the breakfast sandwiches (bacon, egg & cheese with cream cheese on an everything or biali bagel) as well as the lox bagel. They're very nice and hardworking here! I ordered the prosciutto sandwich on a rye bagel (sourdough was my first choice, but it was late morning and they were sold out). I love that they have sprouts on their sandwiches, I ordered as it comes and it was extra tasty. I also ordered the green tea chai and it was good, a little sweet for my personal liking.
