Went to 5th Ave during their Beech Grove Fall Festival! This is BY FAR the coolest ambiance on their Main St. they had the windows open and live music! Overall, a super fun experience. Prices were to amazing and food was super tasty. Service was a bit slow but some of that is to be expected when they're busy! A really good local spot for good food & drinks! We went for a late dinner and sat inside. I ordered the bourbon bacon burger and it was fantastic. There was a delicious bacon jam on top with Gouda cheese. Their tenderloin is also incredible- the breading is unique and delicious. This place is new to the Main Street scene of Beech Grove. It was tricky getting organized for all the COVID-19 compliance crap (my words). I've tried several items over the last few weeks. Beer is plenty cold and there were some hiccups but things look to be running smoother now. Stopped in for lunch today. I had the Pulled Pork Tater Tots and an ice tea. The plate arrived with a more than adequate covering of tater tots. Those were covered with a generous portion of pulled BBQ pork, jalapeños, onions, tomatoes & cheddar cheese. I saw this place pop up on doordash, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the special of the day, a Wet Tenderloin, which was a breaded tenderloin smothered in mashed potatoes and a delicious, homemade gravy on top. The tenderloin was crispy and tender, and the mashed potatoes were really creamy and yummy, but seriously the star of the show was that gravy! Had tenderloin and house made potatoes, both fantastic! The tenderloin was so well seasoned, not just your run of the mill sandwich. Very large, but not pounded thin. I'm really glad this bar opened in Beech Grove. It is a nice alternative for a lunch spot. We have been several times and I have always had great service from Either Heidi or Heather. We have gotten burgers, which were very good, chili, which was also very good, but my favorite thing so far has been the wings. I like the bone in spicy garlic. This place is super laid-back and they are doing a great job with social distancing. I will be excited to see how this bar is in the future when things get back to normal. I am really grateful for this location. The only thing I think they could improve on is the signage out front. If you don't know what you're looking for, you might miss it. Incredible food! We got the 5th Ave wings which are tossed in whatever flavor you want and then passed through a flame leaving the wings super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pork tenderloin sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the fries are the perfect blend of crispy and fluffy. So our food took awhile which is fine, I get places being short staffed. My sisters meal did not arrive and when the waitress went to have the meal made, we still didn't receive it for an hour total after being seated. Our waitress did nothing wrong and had to comp my sisters meal out of her own pocket. I love to support small businesses but when it comes to the owner making their wait staff pay out of their own pocket... I can't support a business that is ran like that. read more

This place used to be good. Last couple of times our family has gone, they seem to have had "call-ins". I doubt that very much. We sat down (as a table of 4) and watched the waitress stare at the finished table next to us, looking for her money. The plates on that table were hardly touched ( that should tell you something right there). After sitting for 10 minutes, the bartender walked past our table to serve the larger table who came in after we had been there for 5 minutes. He apologized to THAT table, took that table's drink order, and walked right past us. We weren't even offered a menu to look at. Moat restaurants serve guest as they arrive. It's a shame! Mismanagement seems to be this places biggest enemy. Maybe change your hiring practices???? read more

we tried this restaurant just last weekend and we were not disappointed! the cheese sticks were delicious and i would come back for just those. we ordered garlic parmesan boneless wings and garlic roasted buffalo traditional wings which both were flavorful. we also ordered the fried pickles which were very crunchy and juicy. the server was very patient with us since it took a while for us to decide. she recommended some of her favorites which was very helpful. the inside of the restaurant is spacious and has tables of various sizes. there were a few tables out in front of the restaurant to sit as well. in the parking lot they had tents set up and we're hosting corn hole games. it looked like a lot of fun. i would love to participate in that next time. the restaurant was family friendly and offered something for everyone. beers on tap and daily shots were available as well! read more

It was just ok - typical bar food. Service was ok but the server never asked if everything was ok, did we need anything and never offered to refill our non- alcoholic drinks. To be blatantly honest, it's nothing special on its own- it's your run-of-the-mill grill and bar, nothing bad but nothing insanely delicious either. Of course, this isn't a bad thing- but where this shines is customer service. On a whim, I asked them to write something funny on each box, expecting them to ignore it or just give something half-hearted. Instead, it came with witty remarks on ALL of the boxes, one asking for a five-star-review- so here you are. You deserve it.
