Jalapeño Sausage Scrambled, Salmon Bagel Sandwich

I had the jalapeño sausage scramble with potatoes! The jalapeños and tomato taste so fresh like they were picked this morning at the perfect ripeness. Eggs and potatoes are cooked to perfection. They also put great seasoning on it. We will come again and highly recommend to try it.

I tried the breakfast burrito for $12 and it was surprisingly large! However, you get what you pay for- the freshness and ratio of ingredients could've been better. Solid and reasonably priced spot but nothing super special.

The food and presentation is phenomenal! I got the breakfast burrito and it did not disappointment! Woke up and decided I wanted a good breakfast for the day ahead and looked up best breakfast in LA! My son and I were craving an açaí bowl so we decided to check out 6th Ave Cafe for the first time. He had the regular açaí bowl and I had their tuna sandwich which came with a salad. Both were delicious! Our orders were fresh and tasty! The food I got was tasty and fresh! I bought the breakfast burrito (the meatless one) and an açaí bowl. Cost was around $22 total. The portions were somewhat large. I ate half of each item. The presentation was thoughtful imo, esp for a place I would describe as an upscale hole-in-the-wall. Friendly service as well. I'll def return to this hidden gem.

I'm so blessed and thankful to have 6 Avenue Caffe in walking distance. They have amazing lattes, juice and breakfast all day. Their green apple juice is so delicious and fresh. The breakfast sandwich has real tasty ingredients with the perfect balance. The burritos are also tasty. The owners are sweet and friendly. Don't pass this place by!

The food was pretty decent, my sandwich was missing avocado. The service experience was terrible. My co-worker and I both ordered to pick-up. We get there and my food is ready, she didn't ask for confirmation. My co-workers food wasn't ready and she shows the lady her order confirmation and she told her that it had been picked up. We said by who? She said some guy who comes in for deliveries and we both say impossible and show her that the order was for pick-up not delivery. The lady at the counter goes back and forth with my co-worker in English and Spanish to tell her the food has already been picked up and it must've been picked up by her husband. Huh? I thought you said you know the guy? Then she said no I don't. The man making the food comes out from the kitchen to join in the argument. Now it's 5 minutes later and the food could've been made by then. Finally they remake her food after asking to see the order (didn't you already make it) but not before a 5 minute argument that made no sense. It was really weird and extremely confusing.

The food here is amazing, The staff is kind and welcoming. Whenever me and my mom come in they say hi and when we leave they say thanks. The service isn't fast but they don't take a long time. They are well mannered, and respect. I've only been here twice but i can already tell i'll be here more

I love this little cafe, the owners are super sweet and attentive. You can tell they make all their food with so much love. The food is tasty, good portions and good price. This is my go to early in the morning breakfast place. You can order to go or come by and eat in person. I always have the spicy chicken sandwich but I also recommend the breakfast burrito, house breakfast or avocado toast. They also have other healthy options I have yet to try. read more

Açaí bowl was superb!!! So rich, creamy, and fresh! Quality reminds me of being in actual tropical places like Singapore. The toppings were lovely and the portion size was great. The workers (maybe owners too?) were SO sweet and attentive, kind and worked really swiftly. The place is very unassuming on the outside but okay inside, very clean and thoughtful. Lots of love felt in the space. You can tell the spot opened recently and that they are excited to share their vision with us. Excited to go back and try some food food. read more

What an incredibly delicious unassuming place. You wouldn't know it from the outside, as it looks like it's just a juice/acai bowl place but it's also a perfect hearty breakfast joint. I got the french toast which was a thick brioche bread topped with powdered sugar, strawberries, blueberries and drizzled with Nutella. This was absolute heaven. The berries were ripe, the Nutella and powdered sugar added enough sweetness (no syrup needed) and somehow the gentleman was able to get a slightly crisp exterior to complement the soft interior. My mom got the avocado toast (no tomato or cheese) that was in her words "the best I've ever had" and I have to agree. The toast was still hot and had the same crisp exterior and soft interior that my french toast had. There was no skimping on the avocado. The side salad had a very vibrant dressing that I want all my salads topped with (some kind of vinaigrette). We also got an iced matcha (the only thing I want a fan of as it was a bit grassy), iced mocha (so yummy! Not too sweet) and a green juice (a little heavy on the kale but we liked it like that so it wasn't overly sweet) The place was clean, if a little sparsely decorated and the man that helped us was super friendly and insanely fast! It's a little pricey but totally worth it! Everything was so fresh, food size servings is large and presentation is beautiful! read more

My first stop during my visit to LA and this place DID NOT disappoint!! If you are vegan like me this place has three hearty options for you. I decided to go with the vegan burrito and holy *#**% it was the best vegan burrito I am pretty sure I have ever had!! This burrito brought tears to my eyes! I even did an addition of their tempeh bacon which brought the burrito to a whole new level!!! BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! it comes with VEGAN chipotle mayo!!! This place was so good. Right across the street from WalkGood LA. Came here for a quick bite after a belly dancing class and they had a great menu, so I ended up getting a juice, and their burrito and sandwiches were so good. Let me start off by saying the employees are very nice and extremely helpful! Their customer service is exactly what I aim to have when I have my own cafe ! The food was delicious too!! I got the egg sandwich, the bread was so soft and buttery and the eggs had the right amount of seasoning. The side salad was well dressed and paired so well with the sandwich. My sister for the Caesar salad and strawberry lemonade, and in her words "I think it was good, it was good, I liked the lemonade." Back to the sandwich, typically when I get sandwiches with that kind of bread it gets hard after a while, but this one stayed soft the entire time. I loved it 10/10! The photos on the wall were very appetizing. They were also playing peaceful music in the back! I'd say, I will definitely be passing by again to try their waffles and açaí bowls :). read more

Found this place by total accident, we were in the area and needed to kill some time so googled breakfast spots and so glad we did!! I love avocado toast and it is always my go to! Well I can say without a doubt, this was the best avocado toast I've ever had! Beyond fresh! Big portion and lots of perfectly ripe avocado!! The baguette bread that was used was toasted with a nice crisp outer and soft chewy inside and seasoned nicely!! The salad that came with it was just as fresh and dressed perfectly with a amazing light zesty dressing!! Also ordered a iced moca coffee, with the house Mexican coffee and again perfect! There is street, metered parking the shop was clean with inside seating. The service was quick and super friendly! We will be back every time we are in the area! read more

This "employee" is clearly unhappy with his job. I am not the only person who has noticed his behavior. Several patrons who were seated out front on my last visit waited over eight minutes at the unmanned counter before they were forced to call out "Hello?" several times. It was only after several more minutes that this particular employee peered through a piece of cardboard he had propped up in the take-out window (apparently to block customers from getting his attention or disturbing him while he was on a phone) and proceeded to stare at them. What are we at Popeyes Chicken on La Brea? The owner, Rachel Sazon, needs to replace this employee ASAP so he can spread his misery somewhere else - like maybe the DMV.
