The tacos and fries were pretty good. I got the chicken tacos and my husband got the Carne Asada fries. He said they were pretty good and they reminded him of a place back home we really enjoy. We will definitely come back. The only downside is there is no restroom and we had to walk down the street to a coffee shop that happened to be cute.

Yeah, I've eaten cabeza at a lot of different spots, and I've never encountered anything that smelled like that. It genuinely seemed rotten. The pastor was good, but the smell of the cabeza was enough to ruin the experience for me. It honestly left me a little scarred and questioning the quality of the food.

New location that just opened, I heard they have multiple food truck and looks like they just opened a restaurant! It is a breath of fresh air to have a new restaurant in this area. I've been here multiple times now, and I keep coming back. You can taste the quality of the food, and the sauces are fire!!! I recommend giving it a try if you're in the Pine area close to downtown!

Showed up on my Instagram. Nice corner location. Parking lot! Very clean. Nice staff. Had the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was delicious. I loved the red salsa. I'll definitely be back for taco Tuesday.

Food was pretty good I loved the burrito , rice was a little mushy but not too unbearable, great place and friendly service Al pastor was okay , I give prompts for the pineapple but for tacos I recommend the Cabesa , great flavor .

I first want to begin with the customer service because it was AMAZING! I came in with 3 of my best friends and we were immediately met with a kind customer experience. We took our order, our food came out and it was ALSO FANTASTIC! I got the Carne Asada fries and MAN, the sauce they used along with the sour cream and guac was the best combo I've had in Mexican Cuisine for a MINUTE! After the beach, the mood of the store also was very kind. It wasn't crazy decorated but it wasn't really necessary in the first place anyways, so I don't think it changes my review at all. The gentleman with the glasses helped us a lot and also gave us some free tortillas on the house! Definitely will be coming back here with my friends sometime soon. 5/5, THANK YOU! read more

They have an extremely small eating area and NO BATHROOM. Not just out of order, but none. Ambiance is terrible - a few tables a chairs. Its dirty - inside and out. Do yourself a favor, eat elsewhere. read more

The el pastor tacos are the star of the show here and i will come back to get them. They were very tasty! Also ordered the 600 asada burito. My mistake because i didn't know it came with fries inside. Why put fries inside a burrito? They have taco tuesday so that is the best time to come for them. They have menudo on the weekends also. Came to get carne asada fries. But upon arrival, the whole parking lot was swarming with flying ants (air and ground). I went inside and they were also swarming all over the ceilings as well. They seemed to be dealing with some pest issues. Workers seemed like nice people. read more

My friends and I came looking on Yelp for an impromptu dinner spot and found this 600 Tacos location. Parking was great, two separate parking lots on either side of the location made it SUPER easy to park and meet up, so that was a plug, especially because we didn't have to use a meter or parallel park. Customer service was excellent, the guy was so friendly and helpful. The menu was very clear and easy to understand and prices were honestly very fair! The place was very clean and obviously well kept :) the guy let my friend wash her hands in their handwash sink since there wasn't a public restroom within the facility, but they also had free hand sanitizer available which I thought was neat and kind! Now for the best part: THE FOOD! The food was amazing I genuinely don't even care to usually write reviews but the food was so good and the service was so great I genuinely had to get on here and leave a review. I got a quesadilla, friend 1 got a burrito, friend 2 got nachos, and friend 3 got tacos, so safe to say we all tried a little of everything and we were all so happy with our food we actually all finished our plates, which is not usual for most of the group, especially with new places. I left wishing I lived nearby because the food was seriously that great. Another shoutout for amazing service though because that really topped off the great night was the guy running the place letting us sit in and yap our heads off for an hour after we were done eating :) So kind! Only suggestions we have are to get this place some more artwork and decor and PLSSS some horchata would be killer here. Thank you for the amazing time!!! 11/10 will be going here only everytime I'm in LB. read more

This 600 Tacos is located just a block away from my home, so I gave it a try. Carne Tacos were fresh and very tasty. Service was very nice from the owner's son who runs the restaurant. This area of Pine avenue has lots of residential apt and condo buildings and few restaurants. Give it a try to keep Pine Avenue a vibrant area to live eat! Eat in! Very Clean, Sports channels on large screen TV. A great neighborhood place. Pine Avenue People don't keep it a secret, support locally owned small business. So much better than Taco Bell. First off, I love the vibe of this place, you step in and it's family friendly, clean, and upbeat! Then it's fast service with easy to access and read menus with pictures to help showcase what they got. The prices are reasonable and the quality of food makes you think it should cost more. Plus after I ordered my burrito it came out fast and I had a sweet exchange with the employee. The 600 burrito is so yummy would definitely recommend! read more

Everything feels clean, classy and thoughtfully put together. When you first arrive, seeing the line out the door can be a little intimidating. Usually at places like this, I feel like I have to fight for my life to find a table, but thankfully that wasn't the case here. The staff was very kind and asks how many are in your party and helps you get a table, which made everything much less stressful. They also give you menus while you wait so you can decide what you want ahead of time. We arrived at 10:30am and our wait was about 30 minutes so by the time we were able to order at 11am, the lunch menu was also available. I ordered the tater tots, Cinnagave Shaken Espresso, Dutch Baby Pancake and country sourdough toast with jam. With tax and tip, my total came out to around $40. It's definitely pricier than what I normally pay for breakfast. Most entrées range from $17-$34 and coffees are around $5-$10, so you can easily spend $30+ for one person. In these hard times, that's not exactly ideal for me. I also wanted to try a pastry to get the full experience, but when I found out the small blackberry danish was $7, I decided to pass. I just couldn't justify getting that close to $50 for breakfast for one person. Now for the food! The country sourdough toast with jam was actually my favorite item. The homemade sourdough was incredible and honestly deserves its roses. It sounds like such a simple thing, but it was so well done and easily the standout for me. Visually, the Dutch Baby Pancake was beautiful and definitely impressive when it came out. I've always wanted to try one, so I was excited! I will say, I've read everywhere that Dutch babies are supposed to have more of a custardy center and even the photos I've seen look that way. Mine didn't really have that texture at all and tasted more like a crepe. Maybe it was a little overcooked? It wasn't bad, just not quite what I expected. Still delicious! Unfortunately, the tater tots were the biggest disappointment. They weren't crispy, didn't taste seasoned and sort of fell apart until they became one big potato mess. My cousins and I ended up not finishing them. One of my cousins ordered the summer peach and corn salad, which she liked! Just a heads-up that it's only available after 11 a.m. My other cousin got the skillet, she mentioned feeling a little disappointed since it tasted a little dry and didn't finish her plate. However they both ordered the Curious George drink and LOVED it! The Cinnagave Shaken Espresso was also fantastic. Coffee is definitely something they do very well here and I can see myself getting again. Overall, the aesthetics are adorable and I could see this being a great date spot. The coffee was fantastic, the sourdough was amazing, but the rest of the food was just okay for us. That was a little disappointing because everything sounds SO good on paper. Maybe we just caught them on an off day. The prices are probably the biggest thing holding me back from coming back regularly. Spending $30-$40+ per person for breakfast isn't really in my budget right now, but if this is within your price range, you may have a completely different experience. When I review a place, I try to take the overall experience, personal taste and effort into account. For now, I'm leaving Zuzu's Petals at 4 stars because the effort is definitely there, and what isn't my cup of tea may be someone else's liquid gold. I'd still give them another chance in the future... after I get paid!
