Servers were attentive without being overbearing, which is always welcome. We ordered several dishes and dined, as they suggested, family style. To start, we were given two complimentary dishes, the roasted peanuts and the smashed cucumbers; both were nice appetizers. We ordered the Chiu Chow green beans, the Mongolian beef noodles, the claypot rice with lop cheung and bacon, the salt 'n peppa prawns, and the whole fried petrale sole, the last two being on the day's "specials" board. The winning dish was definitely the green beans. All the food was good, but seemed to be a bit overly salted and highly spiced. The piece of beef I had from the Mongolian beef noodles was tender, but one of my friends thought her piece was a bit tough and too chewy; we all thought the beef could have been cut into smaller or thinner pieces. We also shared two desserts since it was a birthday celebration (there are only three options offered). We had the red bean shaved ice and the mango pudding. Both were good (not "oh, boy, yummy" good, but good). Nice to try. The price wasn't outrageous ($200 including tax and tip), but I think this will be a "been there, done that" experience for me unless a friend absolutely wants to go again.

Due to pandemic, we would seldom come to Chinatown until recently, and pleasantly surprised to find our favorite "New Sun Hong Kong" restaurant reopened under a new name "606" which is its street number on Broadway. "606" gives the feels of Simple, Modern, with the authentic Hong Kong Style cuisine that we love. The flavors are spot on. Very tasty, FRESH, QUALITY and not overly greasy. Great portions and value! There are Chinese restaurants in Chinatown, but nothing like this. They have brought something different, new, and needed in the neighborhood. We love food, and so ordered Simon Garlic Chicken, Salt Pepper Fish, Crispy Golden Noodles, Dry Fry Beef Ho Fun, and Crispy Egg Rolls. The pork and cabbage potstickers were an incredible start - not only were they delicious, but they were also surprisingly filling. The flavors were spot-on. The Chow Mein with chicken was a highlight of the evening. Incredible in taste, we kicked it up a notch by adding their chili paste for that perfect spicy kick. Excellent food, service, vibes and view. Had their signature Hong Kong Style milk tea and it is as authentic as it gets. We tried the mezze sampler, beef plate, and chicken plate. Everything does come with pitas so no need to order more. The mezze sampler is a great option is you want to try a variety of their dips! I recently visited the new Chinese restaurant with my wife and parents during its soft opening. I gotta say, the Hong Kong milk tea surpassed any I've had even in New York or SF. The fried chicken wings and salt and pepper spare ribs were delicious... crunchy, fresh, and crispy. I look forward to visiting again once fully opened! read more

606 was fantastic! The food was absolutely amazing, and the potstickers were to die for. I also highly recommend the General's Chicken--it was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. Be sure to make a reservation. It's a small restaurant and fills up quickly, so planning ahead is definitely worth it. read more

I usually hate waiting for...anything...but I'm glad we stuck it out at 606 on a whim. It has a simple, modern interior that's perhaps appealing to a younger crowd. There are a number of familiar Chinese and Chinese American flavors, but with elegance and interesting twists. These guys do a good job. read more
