We enjoyed the filet, bao buns, grouper (fresh catch), KFC wings (both sauces) and Leslie Chow over the two nights. Second night we tried the peanut butter pie - heaven! I'm a big fan of restaurants who look to push the envelope of flavors...always interesting to see what you will experience. I started with the Pork Belly Bao Buns (2) and for me they were just OK. Not a lot of flavors I normally experience with this dish and the Teriyaki pork belly was not as tender as it should have been. The Bolognese dish was an experience...don't expect "Little Italy" flavors with this dish. The beef masked most of the tomato flavors and was extremely thick. We ended up at 63-S by accident! After having a reservation at the 31Club down the street and leaving because they didn't have any vegetarian items, except a few side dishes. The host at 63-S was kind enough to seat us without a reservation at a nice table outside on the patio. Our server was prompt and attentive and the food was really, really good! We started with drinks and I had the Pomegranate Martini (on the rocks, because I stink at drinking out of a martini glass), it was excellent! For food, we started with the truffle flatbread, which was probably my favorite item on the menu. I would drive to Ormond Beach just for this flatbread!! We also had a hummus plate (which I didn't love), You can tell it was made in-house but was just a tad too garlicky for me. For the entree, I had the Beyond Burger with Gouda cheese and held the rest of the toppings. It was very good, cooked well done, just like I asked. read more

Five stars is most accurate here. We're both unfamiliar to the area and were looking for a reasonably priced date place to go on a busy holiday weekend. Yelp certainly came through here and I was fortunately able to get a last minute reservation for two. The staff here are so welcoming and friendly and treated us like close friends or family. The menu was a little intimidating for my husband who's more of a burger place or steakhouse kinda guy, but he was feeling adventurous and didn't order the steak but rather the fried chicken and rice dish. It was absolutely outstanding! Thank goodness it was a decent portion, because I couldn't stop myself from eating it. I ended up ordering three of the bao buns, and I wasn't disappointed either, the pork and pineapple one was perfection. They have a decent and surprisingly reasonably priced selection of beer and wine and a list of craft cocktails I will definitely love to try next time. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, but it's small and pretty cozy so make sure to call for a reservation. I couldn't recommend this lovely restaurant enough. read more

From the moment we walked into this quaint, lovely restaurant we felt at home. If we lived in this area this would be our Friday night spot every week! If you go, our recommendation would be to try a little of everything. The oysters were perfection, the bao buns were phenomenal and the gnocchi balls had the perfect amount of spice. They have a small selection of big plates but honestly I love their small plates and tapas. The charcuterie board looked amazing. And that bar!!! It was easy to make reservations, had valet parking in the back, warm and cozy ambiance and David our waiter was helpful and kind. The food was delicious. What I really like a lot about this place is that it was a break from the typical menu of burgers, fried and all the other fried foods you find in Daytona. I'll try to keep this short. Totally concur with all the previous reviews in that the vibe is laid back and cool here but couldn't help to feel somewhat neglected and out of place (even though I'm very laid back and cool *wink*). We were appreciative that we had the option to sit at the bar since we wandered in without reservations, but it seemed like everyone at the bar knew each other so I felt overlooked because of that. The only thing we ordered was a few drinks, the charcuterie (which was excellent with a sweet spicy relish, 2 carby accoutrements, and creamy goat cheese that showcased the cheeses), and the peanut butter pie. We would have ordered more drinks, but like I said, the regulars seemed to have priority. I actually had to reach over and grab a pitcher of water to refill my glass as well as my husband's because I could not get the bartender's attention. The charcuterie took forever to come out, about 30 minutes after we ordered so we didn't even bother ordering entrees. We ordered the pie to go and that took forever to come out as well, a good 15 minutes. (Yes, I time everything when it comes to service.) Sadly, the pie did not look "Instagram" or Yelp worthy to even take a pic. It lacked the piles of reeses chunks, and there was no whip cream at all as seen in some of the other yelpers pics. Sad face. I get it. Take care of the local regulars because they will come back but at the same time, don't totally over see visitors that may or may not return. It makes you look snooty. read more

This was my absolute favorite restaurant I went to on my trip! We had a large group and got a little of everything for us to split and try. Everything we ordered was AMAZING! The buns was steamed perfectly to be soft and fluffy. Every dish was flavored well. Everyone in our group had nothing but great things to say about every dish. There were more dishes on the menu we didn't get to this visit and I already told my friend I request to eat here on my next visit! The space is small so not necessarily the best for very large groups and reservations are highly recommended! They did have a beautiful patio and outside dinning space. This was mainly because it took a very long time for our food to be prepared and other tables were served before us (even though they were seated well after). I decided to celebrate Mother's Day a couple of days early with my wife and her sister. Reviews of other diners and the unique offerings on the menu influenced our choice of this restaurant. We were not disappointed. My sister-in-law enjoyed the bao (one fried chicken and one pork belly) though they were quite unlike the Chinese versions she had previously had. My wife ordered two small plates: Leslie Chow (spam fried rice) and So-Cal Tacos (fried shrimp tacos): delicious! I chose the Herb Encrusted Salmon with japonica rice and asparagus. The salmon was perfectly pan seared and well complimented by the vegetables. Servings were not large, but the food quality and tasteful presentation compensated for what was lacking in quantity. 63 Sovereign was the perfect choice for our special celebration. read more

Simply wow 6 stars ! Blown away by this little gem. First of all our waitress was so wonderful , the restaurant is small and was all booked . She offered to sit us outside and told us to wait about 45 min for food as kitchen was overwhelmed. We agreed and ordered a bunch of drinks ! The weather outside was delightful after rain at about 7 pm. We enjoyed really amazing appetizers and main courses . Really not impressed, I read reviews and thought this would be a great place to take the parents for Easter. We got an outdoor front porch table and it was so loud with trucks and motorcycles that we could hardly hear each other. The menu is so small, not much to choose from. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here. They know what they're doing and it shows. Not only is the food delicious, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. This place has a great ambience as well, very charming and intimate - perfect for a date or a small group dinner. There's a decent size bar area with about 10-12 seats, that's usually where we end up. So far we've had the oysters, bao buns, burrata flatbread, and white truffle flatbread. Everything was perfect. These were all "small plates" so great for sharing but they have some amazing entrees (osso buco I'm looking at you) that I can't wait to try. Their drink menu is fun and the drinks are always perfect. They also have a kick-ass wine list. The tempranillo by the glass is so good, I've tried to find it in stores but with no luck so this is always the first drink I order. Another plus? The prices are very reasonable - you can go light with a few small plates or go big with entrees, bottles and cocktails... there's something for everyone. read more

This place is absolutely STELLAR. I will say the nicest restaurant in Ormond. Cool-casual. Crudos, sashimi, wings, truffled pizza, and everything you want for light fare. We took some new friends there and it didn't disappoint. I think we ate about 75 oysters, both on the half and steamed. Maybe Im biased, but a menu with this type of selection is something you rarely encounter. Waitstaff know their wines and are super friendly. The back bar is also charming. You can not miss the big blue house! Such a nice gem added to the OBS community. Not your average local eatery which makes this place stand out from the rest. I love how they decorated the inside, and the outdoor sitting area makes for a great relaxing spot to play games, sip on some wine & enjoy good food with friends. I came on a Wednesday night during happy hour, which had a grand selection of wines to choose from at half price. They also have beer & sake if you prefer. The waitress was very kind and attentive, and filled our water glasses when empty. The menu showcases many eclectic dishes to cater to all dietary needs including vegan, gluten free, etc. My mom & I shares three plates. They are big enough to share for 2-3 people. We chose the winter salad, seasonal fritters which were cauliflower-base, and the charcuterie board which included meats, cheeses, pepita spread, bread, olives & starfruit. The fritters were definitely my favorite! The pepita spread was delicious and unique. My mom loved the assorted cheeses & fresh salad. It was all presented beautifully! Between the three generous sized portion plates, and the wine, the bill came to $48 which I thougjt was a very reasonable price, especially for the quality of food that you got. The owners also seem very friendly and made sure to greet us & and ask us how everything was. I will be back for more, and can not wait to come back to try new dishes!
