Food took a really long time to come out when the place was practically empty. There were a total of 3 parties including mine. That's just 6 people altogether. And when I did finally get my ramen, it was the most disappointing ramen I've ever had. The broth had no depth and was just salty. The noodles were overcooked and soggy--on their way to become udon noodles. They stuck to each other, forming a ball of noodles I had to try hard to separate with my chopsticks. Maybe it just sat there for 20 minutes before they brought it out? Did they forget?? I don't know. I understand this is not a ramen joint, so you could say I ordered the wrong thing. However, when something is this bad, it is my opinion that you should really just take it off the menu and offer only what you can make decently. I tried to make the ramen more edible by making it spicy. I asked for chili oil but they didn't have any, and what they gave me instead was some weird brown paste thing, which I tried and gagged. At first I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about 66S fusion, All you can eat for such a great price for fresh sushi and well plated appetizers. We went with a rather large group and was greeted with very friendly and informative staff. Simon (owner/manager, not sure) is awesome, He spent time with us to explain the complex menu to us. He provided us with great feedback with flavor profiles and sake/sushi pairing, I recommend going with his suggestions since he's very knowledgeable. I saw 66s Fusion on one of my bus routes, and for some reason this little gem is in the middle of Brooklyn's Navy Yard. I was trying to find a replacement for my college's sushi buffet spot, and while 66s does not completely do the job, it does make a valiant effort. Come for the lunch buffet which was around $12-14 if I remember correctly, and get an offering of sushi, rice, vegetable, fruit, and stir-fry. I would classify this place as the best and most kind version of "bad buffet", you're not going to find anything extravagant, but it'll for sure get the job done so you can sleep off your food baby in peace. JUST SKIP ALTOGETHER. Party of three that did the 7 course tasting menu + buffet for $35. Let's break this down. If you're going to serve oysters, please know where they're from. A customer eating raw oysters never wants to hear that they were in a box and you tried them earlier and seemed fresh. Also, oysters are something that need to be shucked and served right away and not sitting out all day. The 7 courses were all random and there was no progression of any sort. A soup or salad course would've helped in the beginning. The second course which was sea bass and the third course of "white fish" was pretty much the same thing. That was follows by an American wagyu that was cooked beyond well done. The toro at course 5 was not edible. I had to spit it out because there was a crunch/chewy thing happening in the fish as I believe this was frozen. The last course with the crab also had a crunch which may have been ice. That's the benefit of a spacious layout. Even when packed, there is likely a seat or two to fit a few more people. My partner described it as grocery store sushi that was stored in the fridge for two days before consumption. It was that bad. We barely ordered anything, and we couldn't finish what we ordered. So, I literally put three pieces of tuna roll in my bag so I could throw it out. I wouldn't even feed it to a dog out of fear that it might get sick. It was a $40 coupon that we bought after a friend shared it with us, and in the end, the restaurant charged us an additional $26 as gratuity and a service fee on top.
