One of my favorite places in the Bay Area for boba drinks. You can really taste the tea in their drinks, and the boba is soft and chewy. I always get the Assam milk tea, which is a drink I can't really find at most boba places. My friend ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus tea, which was also really delicious and not too sweet. I was in the Bay Area visiting family when we heard 7 Leaves was opening another location in SJ. I was so excited! We went for their grand opening week, on both the first & second day. They were giving away free tote bags, drink coupons & lots of big electronic prizes. Two boys a few groups ahead of us won a PS5 which was unfortunate because we were so close! The drinks were great, just like at every 7 Leaves location. My go to is the Oolong Milk Tea because it has a really strong tea flavor, which is something I look for in a milk tea. The boba was perfect consistency, not too hard or too soft. Another favorite of mine is the Sea Cream Jasmine! It's a lightly sweetened jasmine tea with a dollop of sea salt cream. Fantastic! One of my favorite places for bubble tea now; although to be fair, there aren't that many boba places immediately in and around Campbell. I've had a number of drinks over a few visits, and so far everything has been good. Really enjoyed the mung bean, taro, and sunset passion. My current go-to in this hot weather is the sunset passion with aloe vera. BOGO coffee everyday before 11am (as a side note, I really appreciate that they open early and close late), and the coffee drinks are great! House coffee, Viet coffee, and mint sereno are all wonderful. After having been a few times, I'd say I generally prefer the Viet coffee, which to me tastes similar to the house but less creamy. They have a well-designed app which gives you a point per dollar, which you can redeem for drinks - each drink is about 50 "leaves." And if you refer a friend to download the app, you also happen to get 50 leaves! Final note is that they have a secret menu which is made up of drinks mixed together. As far as I can tell, these have to be ordered in person as compared to through the app. For example, Love Cream is a jasmine milk tea with caramel, and Strawberry Sunset is a mix of the strawberry hibiscus and sunset passion. Whereas other shops are typically located a bit off the beaten path in a strip mall, this location is super conveniently located off the highway on E Hamilton. There's plenty of parking and space inside if you wanted to study or get caught up on some work. My favorite drinks here are the Mung Bean drink, House Coffee, Vietnamese Coffee Jasmine Milk Tea. Their honey boba is consistently cooked perfectly and their drinks are super tasty. Be wary though- drinks are on the sweeter side and you can only order "less sweet" or "no sweet." Their coffee drinks are amazing and if you want a kick in the butt in the morning you should get their Vietnamese coffee. I also tend to order off my app which allows you to make additional customizations such as more espresso shots or jellies in your drink and also gives you up to date information on some BOGO or other offers! read more

I knew they were opening soon...so when I drove by and saw that they were officially opened...I just had to stop in! Glad I did. I ordered my favorite, the mung bean drink, easy sweet, w/ boba. I even got a free bag! They said they did a big opening day and had extras. (I guess thats where all the free bags went for the grand opening.) Glad I was able to get one. Everyone here was super friendly and they all seemed to get along really well. Great atmosphere. My drink was delicious as usual and the boba pearls were soft and chewy, just the way they should be. They were a little skimpy with the amount of boba, but it was still okay. I love the interior of the place too. Made me want to sit and relax for a bit, despite all the errands I had left for the day. Hopefully they improved from their chaotic opening day that I read about in other reviews. read more

I was there on 4/8/23 at 1:30pm (I was wearing yellow if you want to pull up your CCTV) but I can't believe you would hire such rude employees who makes customers feel like a burden rather than being welcomed as a guest? I'm not asking for SUPERB customer service where they will rub my feet or something, but damn I expect SOME kindness at least? I came in and I was waiting at the front for a good minute, and obviously I'm not going to wait forever so I saw the two workers in the back talking to each other and I kindly said "excuse me". I know they heard me the first time, but I felt like I was being ignored so I raised my voice a little (again, I wasn't even being rude) and the Asian guy came up to me looking pissed that I bothered him??? Like hello, I'm a customer too??? The way he took my order was so rude and so condescending. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. There was even a point where he made me feel stupid because I just paused to think about how my brother wanted his order. Also I asked for the bathroom code and he gave me so much sass and attitude. I'm usually not rude but I caught myself saying WTF out loud because I was so over this guy! I love this location and I would WFH here often and never had a problem before. I'm very disappointed and will probably never come here again. I also read some past Yelp reviews about bad customer service as well so I'm not sure why management keeps letting this happen? I kept getting ads for the BOGO coffee at 7leaves and decided to make a quick stop while I was in the area. The interior is more spacious than the Berryessa and Saratoga locations. In a sense, it kind of reminds me of the Artisan location with how spacious it is. There was a bit of a line on Sunday and there's a decent amount of parking in the area! The interior has lots of open space and tons of different pastries to choose from compared to the other SJ locations. What I got: (2) sea cream black coffees (4/5): I got this easy sweet and it kinda just reminds me of the house coffee without milk. I personally like the house coffee more because I like things a *bit creamier but this one is def good for those days where you want something a bit lighter. Even with easy sweet I still feel like the coffee drinks and milk teas are pretty sweet. As of now they still have the BOGO coffee before 11 am so definitely take advantage of that before it runs out. read more

Thai Tea 5/5 Tea is very prominent, and sweet! If you do not like sweet things you can always adjust the amount. Staff Very welcoming and straight to the point. Super accommodating and helpful about food/drink options and they made my drink pretty fast. I ordered at 5 PM on a Tuesday. Ambiance Floors and tables are clean, no visual signs of trash and dirt, there are folded napkins under certain tables to prevent tilting for customers. The only things that were partly dirty were the tables. Some rings of condensation from drinks would occur, though I always use a napkin to wipe it up myself because it's not a hassle. I decided to go with a large mung bean milk tea with easy sweet. My drink was ready within 5 minutes. At the first sip, my drink tasted super sweet. Even though I ordered easy sweet for less sugar, so I'm not sure if my drink was made wrong. I had to wait for the ice to melt to drink it. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to get these drinks. I've been here many times now and will continue coming back! I usually get the oolong milk tea with soy milk, easy sweet. 7leaves has great tea flavor in their drinks, but their easy sweet is VERY GUILTY. I enjoy the oolong milk tea a lot, but I have two issues with 7leaves in general. 1.) There aren't too many drinks you can get with soy milk. 2.) Easy sweet is too sweet and they need more sweetness options My guess is that the tea here is brewed really strong, so the high sweetness is used to offset the bitterness of the tea, but I can't confirm if that's true! Your order always comes out quickly, no matter how busy it gets, and the drinks are always consistently well made. It's one of the few places open early enough for you to order from before work. The menu is varied just enough to not overwhelm you. If you're skeptical, order a Thai Tea from any boba place and compare it to here. Currently sitting at 7 leaves at one of their tables with very comfortable seats. Their drinks are coming out so fast that the customer sits and then their drink is out. The girls at the register are very friendly. Their wifi is working fast too! Happy to have chosen here to "study", but it was a bit irritating for a bit when a couple of their crew members (I assume? They were also maskless) just walked into the back kitchen and started excitedly yelling at each other. They didn't stay long though. For those still very covid conscious, they don't enforce mask wearing (though most customers still wear it). Most of their staff do wear masks and the girls at the front wear gloves. I ordered the sea cream jasmine tea with honey pearls. I like the texture of the pearls and the drink as a whole is not very sweet. My sweet tooth would prefer it sweeter but it is very nice to sip. I'm more of a black tea person so I still prefer the assam black tea over this. I saw that they also offered samples to some customers who had trouble deciding.
