Upon entering, I was really impressed with how clean and nice the decor was. The tables and chairs were really upscaled and I felt like I was visiting a fancy french style cafe. There was even a small quiet room for those who needed to do some computer work and outdoor seating. The staff was really great and knowledgeable about all the products. The display case showed all of the pastries they had available. I went to the counter and ordered a little of everything, just so that I could get a good feel for it. The only table service is they bring the order to you. I had an Apple Turnover, Ube Sesame Tart, Lemon tart, and a Mini Almond Croissant. These were house made and really fresh and excellent. They serve various coffee and espressos, If you are looking for a nice relaxing cafe with great pastries-Marvel is the way to go!

It looked so pretty and we had high hopes. We took the option of adding on a fondant banner for $5 in the store and settled on berry and vanilla. Whoever was helping us was really not much help at all. I guess at least she was honest, but she didn't know what any of the cakes tasted like and if it was buttercream or whipped cream. The cake itself was dry and hard: the texture was oh so wrong. I don't know if it was old, frozen for too long, or some odd ingredients? But for $65 for a small 6", it was very disappointing. We also got the small bisou and a small napoleon. Better than the cake, but still just ok.

I filled out the form on their website a couple of weeks before my husband birthday, and noticed that their prices had increased recently. The regular 6" black sesame blueberry hojicha cost $55. Megan responded in email within 2 days as expected. Her payment instructions were very clear, and we agreed to meet at their designated community park at 10am on Sunday. (They would also do delivery with an additional cost.) An hour before our meeting time, she sent a text with the make/model/color of their car, as well as, some dessert care instructions. They arrived on time. The cake was carefully packaged and included a "Happy Birthday" paper topper. The cake was really good. It was fresh and airy; the black sesame taste really stood out; the blueberry jam was delicious and not too sweet; the hojicha fresh cream was light and flavorful. While we all really enjoyed the cake, it's very pricey, and it's a 20-min drive from home to pick it up at one of the two time choices.

I made my way into 3 separate stores located in the mall and left empty handed each and every time. In comes Lolli and Pops.... Macarons and fancy chocolates are sitting in a glass case as you enter into the store. My toddler immediately requested for a macaron in which I obliged if she could promise to be patient as I did some browsing and shopping. Pick your battles folks, pick your battles. Lmao! This establishment specializes in all things sweet and delicious! The assortment of bulk sweets are plentiful and you are able to purchase as little or as much as you wish. Customize your treats how you see fit- whether your love involves chocolates, gummies, sour, sweet, jelly-filled, or even spicy- this is the spot for you. I appreciate Lolli and Pop having items you normally couldn't find at any random store. My word of advice: take your time to browse the countless items and don't be shy about asking for a sample. 5 solid stars for the young lady whom I recall was a supervisor or assistant mgr running the shift during my evening visit on 2/8. Thank you for answering my questions, being patient, and being such a positive vibe as a whole. 4 stars overall because there were a few questionable bins containing candies that should immediate go into the trash. These candies were clearly crusty, discolored, and abnormally hard. Other than that, my kid greatly enjoyed her macaron and the special recipient was WOW'D by her gift. Mission accomplished!

Unfortunately, this time it was completely different. The flan actually looked like Gruyère cheese, with little holes throughout it. The texture was very spongy and airy instead of silky and smooth, and the taste was definitely not as good as the first time. I probably should have passed on it because it didn't look right, but I was craving flan and hoped it would still taste as good as the one I had before. Khanh's Restaurant in Campbell used to have, in my opinion, the best flan in all of Santa Clara County, but sadly they no longer offer it. That's why I was so happy when I first tried the flan here and thought I had finally found a good replacement. I really think the owner should check the quality of the food before they put the product out to sell. The appearance and texture of this batch were noticeably off and should have been caught beforehand. I hope this was just a bad batch, because the first flan I bought here was genuinely very good. One thing I learned from this experience: I will never buy a flan that looks like Gruyère cheese again.

We were surprised to find out that they stopped selling to Costco 5 years ago. It's been such a long time! The staff member greeted us when we entered. The menu was straightforward. There was one menu for flavors and another menu for sizes and prices. Since it was a while since we tried their cheesecakes, the staff member offered us cheesecake popper samples. I tried the Silicon Valley classic (ie. Classic New York), and my husband tried the blueberry. We took a bite of each other's picks. The cheesecake bites were fresh and really hit the spot for our cheesecake craving. We ended up buying a bambino in Silicon Valley classic flavor, since it was perfect for sharing. The staff member helped gave us storage tips for the cheesecake, since they don't use preservatives (additional plus in my book). We'll be back the next time we have an event! They share a parking lot with a corner mart and other small shops. Parking is typically plentiful when we've driven by.
