The decor inside is very cool, with comfy couches and tables to work/study on. The one downside is that it seems that almost every seat was taken while we were there, so it might be hard to find seating here. The mung bean milk tea was very solid. It had a distinct sweet mung bean flavor which was refreshing. I like how it didn't taste too grainy (mung bean tends to be grainy sometimes) but rather blended nicely with the other ingredients. First of all, there was only one worker for the cashier AND making the drinks for everyone. A bit of a wait but that's a given with only one worker so can't blame them. But 7 leaves overall just gives 50% ice in their cups even if you ask for less ice. I pay $0.80 extra for custard pudding topping and I always get a sliver of topping in my drink. Not sure if that's just the company's standard measurement given to their workers now but they definitely need to go back to giving toppings that fill 1/4 of the cup. It was my first time visiting this location and the first thing I noticed is how it's much smaller than most others I've been to. I've always known 7 Leaves to be a go-to study spot for many, but I don't think this location is suited for that. You're definitely grabbing on the go here. I came to the store around 11:55am and was taking my time ordering 5 different drinks off the menu, I got a large Barney (secret menu item of Taro Milk Tea and Mung Bean Milk Tea mixed together) with boba, large Oolong Milk Tea with boba, regular Vietnamese Coffee, regular Sunset Passion Fruit with Aloe, and regular Herbal Tea. After I finished paying I turned around to sit down but they had called me to pickup my drinks!! I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes which was AMAZING!! I appreciate the impeccable service Anyway on to the drinks: I got the Barney for myself since I've never heard of it before. It was good but it ended up being a bit too sweet for my liking. This location is a bit further away from me than their other locations, but I like how quiet it is compared their other stores. I studied here a couple of times, and it was decent as well. The is not much service, the employees are not always at the front, so it is hard to get ahold of them (until they come out to bring out drinks). I ordered my usual here, which is the Sea Salt Jasmine Tea with boba. It has a good creaminess to it after mixing, but lately it has this weird aftertaste to it. The ambiance is very nice, the chairs are very comfortable and the tables have plenty of space to lay out my study materials. They had some pastries and baked goods on display. We got the ube mochi cake, which had a strong ube flavor. Tasted good but a bit too rich for me. I like how the menu is concise- offering a good range of specialty drinks while not having an overwhelming amount of options like other boba places. They also offer the standard coffee, latte, etc. We got the Sunset Passion Juice and Strawberry Passion (their special, a mix of the sunset passion and strawberry tea). Both were very nice and refreshing! No artificial flavor, and the right amount of sweetness. The sizing is pretty generous as well. Overall, a solid study spot and drink spot. I loved the cute Halloween decorations. The line was slightly out the door. I needed to treat myself for a 2 hour workout. This was my first time here so now I really had to try it. CAFE: They had a grand opening June 12th. I went on June 26th. There was no line, which I'm not used to because the 7 Leaves by my house on Berryessa always has a line. HOUSE COFFEE: Was so good! Tea me! One of the best drinks in a hot day is a zesty and creative tea. There are several here that are festive and unusual. A perfect find on a sizzling day. My recent visit here turned this surly woe begotten Yelper (c'est moi) into an annoyingly optimistic smiley Yelper. Even I was disgusted with myself. My advice to you is to not visit this place if you are fully invested in a morose attitude. They had the opportunity to gain a lot of loyal/repeat customers (the line was wrapped around the whole block for hours), but due to management's poor execution, many customers left unsatisfied. We originally came to 7 leaves for their grand opening promotion and the logistics were unfortunately managed poorly. Each day on the grand opening days, they allowed the first 500 people to receive free drinks. It took approximately a little over 2 hours to just get the tote bag that contained a redemption card for a free drink. However, the staff tried their best, had music playing and offered complimentary popcorn and cotton candy at the front which was extremely nice of them. I wasn't able to go on Saturday, but I made it on Sunday (Day 2) of the grand opening that weekend. I was in line for 3 hours. Pro tip, bring a friend, a puppy, a fully charged phone and something to sit on because if you're committed go all in. They passed out vouchers with your number in line about 10 minutes to opening. You had to stay in line to hold your place, one voucher per person. Yes, I was also fooled into thinking I would get a free drink that day too. We even ordered larges to get the most out of our 3 hour wait time. We ended up paying and getting a coupon for a drink on them next time. So basically a buy one get one free deal. After we ordered the cashier took our number vouchers and disregard them. I was number #24 and it so happened that the AirPod Max was also that number and I ended up winning! I know for all those who didn't win, it may seem skeptical but they were able to post their winners of all their prizes on the Facebook event page. When I left the PS5 was still unclaimed, but I saw the picture of the winner online! The numbers of their prizes were predetermined (they had a list of numbers as well as each item had a matching voucher already taped to it before handing out any to the customers). I've been to the 7 Leaves in SoCal (Alhambra), Saratoga, and East Side SJ locations and Campbell holds its weight. I also appreciate its ample study space (not as much as the ESSJ location, but it definitely has a nice amount of tables and lounge chairs). I ordered my favorite, Mung Bean Milk Tea (mung bean + loose leaf green tea + pandan leaves, a lightly caffeinated tea) with boba $4.25 for regular + $0.75 for large, + $0.65 for boba = $5.65. They call their lowest sweetness setting "easy sweet" which is still on the sweeter side, and what I always get. This location came through with a flavorful mung bean drink (a unique "earthy" tea) and perfectly cooked boba *chefs kiss.* The boba had the ideal bouncy texture throughout (not too hard, not too soft) and light honey sweetness (not too sweet). I have yet to try the Strawberry Hibiscus (less sweet) $4.25 since I got this one for my mom (and she doesn't share drinks...) but she throughly enjoyed it. I asked her how it was and she said, "It's THE BEST." She only drinks fruity non-milk teas so this is one of the best she's tried. I also enjoyed their macarons $1.75 each. The Salted Caramel macaron (blue color) is such a nice balance of a semi-sweet, light cookie and salty, rich and decadent caramel filling. 10/10 would recommend. The Earl Grey (purple color) has a more fluffy, airy ganache (as opposed to the caramel, which was more sticky). This one just kind of tasted like a lightly sweet Vanilla macaron. read more

The drinks are basically sugar with tea/matcha as a topping. Haha. The other customer ahead of me tried ordering no sugar in his drinks (tried like 5-7 different orders), and everything had sugar. I tried the Japanese Matcha Soy. I had one sip and threw it out. I get it, but customers might be trending less sugar overall nowadays. read more

Adding this to one of my favorite boba tea places!!! I know of two locations in the South Bay, on Saratoga and the other on Hamilton. I prefer the Hamilton location due to its convenient parking lot. Saratoga has a tiny lot and there is lot is competition for parking. The tea selections are very selective but you only need to know the mung bean milk tea. I know mung beans are used in Asian cooking but in a beverage? No way. The name alone may make people raise their eyebrows but do not knock it til you try it. SO YUMMY!!!! The tea is on the sweet side so order it less sweet. The boba is on point with enough chewiness. 7 Leaves also has a rewards program via their app. Each purchase earns you leaves (points) which can then be traded in for different things. They also have a referral program too which I have not tried since a lot of my friends already know about 7 Leaves. You can also order ahead on the app as well.
