The wings never disappoint. I got the Cajun dry rub and honey sriracha wings. Some of my favorite from the Brentwood spot. My wife and kids got the lemon pepper, which are their faves. The wings are a good size, with just enough of a fried crunch on them. Seasonings are always heavy and so tasty. We all were super satisfied with the food. My meal arrived without rice because they'd run out and said it would take 30 minutes to cook more. You can't run out of rice at a Japanese restaurant. That's not a minor slip. It's a fundamental operational failure. Bluefin has genuine quality and consistency in the kitchen. But the experience around it keeps deteriorating. The restaurant feels disorganized, stretched thin, and unable to keep up with demand. You can't build loyalty on food alone when service and operations keep breaking the promise you're making to guests. If they fix the operational side, this place would be a solid recommendation.
