Not bad for "authentic" Korean food. The bulgogi was definitely good and they give a decent amount of side dishes but it wasn't my favorite. Reminded me of a "fusion" place rather than authentic. read more

I am pretty sure that the 707 restaurant is actually LOL- and the Laughing Out Loud part happens in the kitchen... Totally not impressed by this place. I ordered pork noodle soup by the # indicated on menu, and received some tofu fandango stew instead. People make mistakes, no harm no foul. However, the waitress (1 of 3 people who visited our table, as there seemingly was no designated waiter, just a free for all) told me that this (what was in front of me) was the pork noodle thing i ordered, as if i was stupid or something and could not differentiate between gelatinous chunks of tofu and actual meat. Another telling sign was that my Stew noodle slop fandango came out much earlier than my friend who I was dining with. Instead of just admitting innocent fault (who really cares, I didn't, i just wanted her to bring me the correct food i ordered), the lady argued that it WAS pork... picture this :literally in front of me sits soup with whiteish looking chunks and are practically vibrating with the korean pop music projected on the wall, and she tells me as if I am blind or something, that'd it is pork... Yeah... I ended up having to talk to manager who was honest enough to offer me another dish, though this took up more time as I was on break from work. Unfortunately the second dish -though appreciated was not much better... some chewy noodle cold thing. It was so cold it makes me wonder why on earth it would have taken so long to bring out (refrigerator cold). I would not go here again even though the manager did eventually correct the error, because it is way over priced, and not even good, I should have just eaten Ramen or something. 707 is a decent Korean restaurant. They met all of the standards, but didn't have anything extra. The beef bulgogi was very well-seasoned and tender. My rice bowl with spicy pork was also tasty, but the pork was a bit fatty. They did not have pickled cucumbers or Korean potatoes, which are my 2 favorite sides. The beef dimpling soup was average. The restaurant was a good size and full. Yet there were only 2 wait people. They were running with their heads cut off. The girl was a bit clumsy and spilled things and ran into chairs and table. We had the guy. He was pretty good, but too busy for his own good. read more

Got here around prime dinner time and without a reservation, we managed to get a table for seven people. Ordered the kim chi fried rice w/ beef, which is pretty decent. The beef pieces could have been a little more substantial. I've heard great things about their soups. read more

Wanted to like this place, but the overworked servers just didn't do a good job. With only 2 for the entire place, they seemed a bit overmatched. The Kim chi pancake and fried squid appetizer we ordered was excellent, the beef dumpling stew was mediocre at best. The Korean Pop music videos projected on the wall was a nice touch. read more

Trader Joes frozen shrimp fried rice is better, grilled chicken is actually fried and the service is awesome! Ambiance is also good but drink lots of alcohol and come really hungry if you want the food to taste good. Sober is not as a good of an experience :/ read more

Loved the big screen playing Kpop music! Totally a good place to hang out with friends and get drinks while feasting on Korean chicken wings and jap chae! The jap chae was flavorful and no bland at all! The calamari was alright nothing special. The Korean fried chicken soy garlic was good it has a good crunch and sauce ratio to it. I Also enjoyed the ban chan set out while waiting for the food to come out! Overall this place is worth going back to! read more

I had the chicken stone bowl bibimbap, and to say the least it was ok. I went for dinner with my gf and she had the pork rice dish. It was good but it was basically smothered with that spicy Korean paste. I see the reviews and it sound great, but maybe I came on a off day. Service was slow and dropping stuff, but the customers too were loud and drunk so I can understand its tricky. In any case, the music video is cool to have but it wasn't the best experience in a Korean restaurant in SF I had. Parking is also pretty much hell to find haha. read more

Came here for a birthday dinner the other night, and with all the food and drinks we got, it still only came out to $20 a person! Surprising for this kind of place, where it usually costs an arm and a leg and you're still hungry afterwards. Food I tried were: cheese corn (YES), spicy rice cakes, kim chi pancake, kim chi fried rice, and potato croquettes. Everything was really good and, of course, went perfectly with the beer and soju. Our table also ordered chicken wings, which I didn't try, but looked really yummy as well. You also get a small selection of banchan (typical stuff, including kimchi, japchae, cucumber, and bean sprouts). They have a giant projection of Korean music videos too, so it was fun to watch that during any lulls in conversation. read more

They're open late and the food is good. And it's Korean. So when it's 9pm and nothing's open, this place becomes a 5 star restaurant. The cheesy corn could use some work though as well as the kimchi fried rice. read more

Poor selection of vegetarian items. I had the bi bim bop pot with tofu and it was pretty awful, woefully lacking flavor. I shared a Korean omelette with friends and that was decidedly much better. We were on the lookout for a sushi restaurant that was about to close in 30mins when we walked past this place. For some reason I always forget that Korean is an option when deciding what to eat, and we all pleasantly realized that it sounded even better than Japanese in that moment. As a bonus, this place was open late and accepted cards. In we went. I really liked it. Spacious interior with lots of seating and a giant TV that plays K-pop music videos in the background. Friendly service. Lots of options on the menu. I ordered the BBQ spicy pork (wasn't overly spicy) and we all shared a seafood pancake. I recommend both. The appetizer side dishes (aka. banchan) came in much smaller portions than most other Korean restaurants, but I'm sure they would've obliged refill requests. read more

Horrible, never come back. Waitress worked alone on weekdays, even it had have only few costumer kitchen and waitress got my food wrong one and brought not the one what I asked for. Trying to find parking for this place is horrendous. My sister and I must have circled for at least 30 minutes before we found parking in front of a coffee shop. The food is good and the service is pretty quick; not really attentive, but thats ok i guess. We ordered A LOT of food. If i recall correctly we had: fried chicken wings with spicy house sauce, tofu kimchi fried rice, jap chae, gal bi, and bbq chicken skewers. The food is good, but its really over priced. This is the best Korean restaurant I found in downtown so far! The flavors and spiciness of are just about right. The tofu soup is great and price is also very reasonable. Only thing is their small dishes are very limited - they don't have kimchi! How can you not having kimchi for small dishes in a Korean restaurant? Came here with my friend and tried their seafood tofu soup. It was tasty but beware that it could be quite spicy for your palate. The food was very fast as we didn't come at a busy time. However banchan (side dishes) were very small. I also ordered another dish to go with request to make it mild. When I got back to the hotel, boyfriend found out that they forgot the rice. Went back again for the rice and my boyfriend had his meal...sweating from how spicy it was. Wish they would pay more attention to details... Not sure if I would be back. read more

Environment is spacious (hard to find in this neighborhood!) and has a nice vibe with K-Pop projected onto the walls. We have eaten at various Korean bbq restaurants in South Bay. This was the first place we decided to try in SF because of the Yelp reviews. We asked the waiter for recommendations and ordered based on them. We quickly regretted our decision because we didn't like most of what we ordered. The Kimchi fried rice with bbq pork had maybe 2 pieces of pork in it. The seafood pancake was so oily to the point where we couldn't eat it. The food was also quite pricey for what it was. This place is big and probably a nice place to go to for after hour eats with friends. My BF and I came in randomly around 6:30 on a Tuesday. Fast service. K pop playing on the wall. Cool spot. As for the food. It's ok. The Kal bi wasn't bad. I've had better. Their was a spice in it I didn't like. CoCo bang down the street has better Kal bi. We also got bulgolgi and we just didn't like this dish. I've had it so many times but, again, there was a weird spice. The cheese corn though was BOMB! read more

The korean food here is decent. I've definitely have had better but if you want korean bar food then come hurrr. Its pretty dim inside though so it kinda reminds you of a club. Or a sad place. Me and my friends got the Budaejjigae, Seafood Pancake, and soondae bokkeum. The Budaejjiage was pretty good but soooo expensive...like $28. Jesus take the wheel. The pancake was fine and the soondae was alright but it was kind of sweet which was weird. Love this place. My boyfriend and I love this as our late night date place. If you want the wings order them first because they won't come out until the very end of your meal but they are worth the wait. We have been there a half dozen times and have had the same waiter every time. He is organized and methodical and rearranges our table every time he delivers a new item. I even had to walk up to get my OWN water. The servers were rude and the food came out so slow. We sat here and waited for 40 mins before receiving the appetizers. Yummy casual Korean food in a fun hip environment. I've come here several times with friends, both on weekends and weeknights. Unless you make a reservation or arrive early, expect to wait a little. This place gets crowded on weekends and is a great place to eat at after going out downtown. Food: Try the army stew, kimchi pancake, chicken wings, tofu soups, and bulgogi. Banchan was tasty and refilled upon request. Ambience: Dark and sort of loud, depending on the time/people there. They project Korean pop music videos onto a wall, so it's definitely a lively environment. Probably best for a meal with a group of friends. First time trying here, me and my girlfriend (she's Korean and she hated it) ordered corn cheese, beef soft tofu soup and bibim nang myun (spicy cold noodle) and it does NOT taste good. The soup doesn't even taste Korean and it's really salty. The cold noodles aw really saucy which was why it was also salty. The only thing that was good was the corn cheese ($6) which can be easily made at home. Their food is too pricy for it's taste! Don't come here!! read more

Great food, but service wasn't great, and the ambience is terrrrrrrrible. They play korean music videos-- which probably deters 90% of their possible consumer base. i am so glad this place opened! before 707 sutter came around, cocobang had a monopoly on korean food in nob hill/tenderloin. while i LOVE cocobang, it is a such a small restaurant and the wait can be as long as 1 hour for a table. enter 707 sutter. the food is yummy but the place is MUCH MORE spacious. i had the bulgogi and the seafood pancake on two separate occasions and they made it really well! (i am really picky with my korean food and i liked 707 sutter's so you KNOW they know how to cook their korean dishes.) in other words, this restaurant will be seeing me more often :D read more
