We boycotted all 85C's for over 10 years based on previous treatment and their deletion of my FB inquiry post rather than apologizing. Last year we decided to move on from the past and give them another chance so we signed up for their loyalty program. They run specials once a month. The promos are mostly restrictive and good for a cold drink on a hot day if we're in the area. Otherwise we'd rather pay more to go somewhere else. September's promo is for ONE medium fruit tea 50% off. Toppings are extra and not discounted. The insult to injury is that this is a syrup flavored drink with zero tea flavor despite it being green tea based. As for their breads, they are highly processed and lowered priced for a reason. We bought their signature large taro bread last month and both ended up with severe diarrhea. We will probably not buy their breads anymore. read more

Honestly this is probably the most disgusting 85 degrees. My coffee came out warm & then they decided it was a sanitary thing to just throw it into a cup where they froth the milk to reheat it. Look at how much foam there is and I watched them do it. In addition to they out the same lids on. Which isnt a big deal but cant imagine what theyre doing to make their bread if the simple coffee makers cant follow health regulations. The breads are soft and fluffy while the ones with filling are creamy and lightly sweet. The cake slice are also delicious; my favorites being the Strawberry and Mango cakes. The service was great as they try to keep the line going quickly so there won't be a crowd because the store is rather small. There's also an app you can now download to earn points towards freebies. I ordered a light iced jasmine green tea, no sugar and boba. The tea had a bitter taste today and the boba was way overcooked as it was very mushy! So mushy it was no longer a ball or pearl shaped. Everytime I visit an 85 degree the pastries are always on point. I will admit the selection wasn't as large but we easily found things to try!
