My go to is a Chocolate Croissant and a Boba milk tea. (Sometimes the chocolate croissants aren't available later in the day because they are just that popular.) Or if I'm not craving the Boba milk tea I get the Sea Salt Matcha Latte. I'll be honest the Sea Salt Matcha Latte can be a hit or miss sometimes depending on who makes it but it's still worth a try. The service is always really good, the cashiers are friendly. The cafe itself is very nice and clean as well, everything is very organized for you to pick pastries from. Overall, I love this place. The drinks and the pastries are reasonably priced and delicious. There are some items that are super good and hard to get and this brings me to the issue I have with them. You just never know when they will put out a specific item. I can drive across town several times over two weeks to get this item with zero luck. Cute bakery 1st time customer and the customer service was not what I expected the lady was rude so that was disappointing. Wonderful cakes -- Black forest cake was full of cherries, delicious chocolate cake and real whipped cream. Service across the counter was excellent. Individual pieces are wrapped in cellophane to stay moist, and boxed in cute carrier containers with a handle to stay nice while in transit home. Spacious interior and easy browsing of shelves of various baked goods. Excellent for bakery sweets, but not much for bread per se. read more

Over priced for quality. Regular coffee tasted stale. Maybe why there was only one on the menu. All the others were flavored. Tuna sandwich was dry and bland. I got it from the refrigerated shelf. There were no markings when it was put there. Bread was super thick to hide the three tablespoons of tuna fish mixture with two half cheese slices. Matcha/red bean and coconut creme cake rolls tasted the same. They were bland. They did look good. Two other pastries were 'okay' and not impressive. They only looked good. Boba Latte and other latte were 'okay' but not worth the high price charged. Ambiance was clean, open, inviting, and well appointed. read more

Cute lil place not overly crowded, not expensive... but as far as the sweet treats go I don't recommend, I got the strawberry shortcake, cinnamon roll and lemon cookies and they were all dry. Strawberry shortcake had little to no flavor, the cinnamon roll only was saved because the flavor was nice but again it was extremely dry. I've been coming in since you opened. I came in yesterday to get my favorite caramel pudding and I was once again disappointed. I don't know who is making this or why there isn't a quality check but it's been awful ! It's like eating butter! Big chunks of hardened fat in it not smooth and silky like it occasionally was. Last month or so it's been horrible and at $4 each! Check my account I've purchased a lot of them! I won't buy them anymore tired of wasting my money I doubt I'll be back in again. read more

All I can say was a superb service! The Manager here was so understanding and very helpful! I ordered their super fantastic yummy cake deluxe mousse chocolate for my daughter's birthday a day before her celebration. While I'm on my way driving to the trampoline park place to celebrate my daughter's birthday, unfortunately I accidentally flip the cake and it was all ruined. I was all in tears and I felt so helpless and so stupid when I saw the cake was ruined by me! I drove back to this same location where I bought the cake and ask for the manager to help me fix the cake maybe a little touch up to make it look decent again. He said the cake is mousse, it is soft and it will not be as smooth as it was. He was kind enough replacing it with different type of cake. He suggested me to get different kind because they don't have the same cake I had at the moment. It would take them 2hrs to produce again a new one coz they were so busy. I understand it was newly open cafe, a lot of customers and it was weekend. That moment I can't help but just cry, I just messed up. I told the manager that I can't, this is specifically what she wanted please help me out (saying it an uglyI cry of mine). I was really begging him to fix the cake, I pleased him to just make it look nice again for the sake of my daughter. He ask me where is the party I said its at trampoline park 15 mins away from here. He said come back after 1 hour I will try to make a new one. When he said that I was so relieved! I let my husband came back to get the freshly made cake. He didnt let us pay extras. It all turn out perfectly on my daughter's 8th birthday party! Everyone loved the cake!!!! I wish to mention the manager's name but I am so bad on remembering names but Kuddos to him! I wanna thank the manager of this location branch . He ultimately delivered the BEST OF ALL THE BEST CUSTOMER SERViCE OF ALL TIME! Went there on Sunday 12/9 to the new store in Oceanside. Have been looking forward to its opening since it was announced they were coming to Oceanside. Been many times to other 85 degrees store in the past and enjoyed their menu. Store had plenty of customers even though they won't fully open until the first of the year and product was limited. They did not let us down. Awesome pastries and we discovered their many different teas. Looking forward to more items becoming available as they continue to grow. read more

This location has a smaller selection of bread compared to other 85 locations I've been to but the real issue is how they've trained their baristas. Naomi dropped a bunch of drink lids on the floor and instead of throwing them away, she put them back on the counter to be used for new drinks. They have several items they can improve on. It felt crowded, particularly their checkout line area, and also the line where you wait to select your pastries. They have so much space so they can easily rearrange/fix their set up. Also, they lacked variety and it took a while to pay. The checkout line was long as there was only one cashier, and the three other employees were working on drinks. Finally, a 2nd cashier came to the rescue. Staff were friendly so no issues with that but this location is nothing like the Mira Mesa one. read more

Stopped here for treating myself to a nice breakfast at 8a. Paid for pastries and a milk tea without any problems but waited for 13 minutes for a drink was made wrong. There was only one barista working. By the time I got my drink, there were 3 people waiting for theirs. I don't wanna be late for work so I didn't ask them to re-do my drink. I left very disappointed with my wrong drink. But the pastries were delicious and fresh so I'm giving 2 stars. read more

Their website says they're open 8-8, but that's not accurate. I think they open at 9. In addition, they never have all their flavors out upon opening. I recommend going around 10. Do not get the refrigerated sandwiches in the morning. They're from the day prior and quite soggy. Ended up throwing that away. The Vietnamese coffee and the iced sea salt coffee are both delicious. I love pretty much every bread I've had there, but highly suggest the cheese dog, the jalepeno cream cheese, and the traditional milk bun. So good! read more
