Prices are a little over but food is really good - once again this isn't a large place. Never ate inside; order then leave and i was never missing any items. She does give you recommendation but make sure to look at the prices. It this place fancy - not really; gives off more dive bar vibe which isn't bad. Will i continue to support this place... YES! I decided to try this place out based on that it was mentioned recently and I was driving by. It was around 11:30 and nobody was there. Im assuming that they do a lot of take out rather than dine in. First impressions was that it needed an update. Very dark with dated signs and older decor. It was hot and humid outside, so I was looking forward to getting into the cooler restaurant which was just kind of stagnant warm air so that was disappointing. The waitress was really friendly and outgoing. She asked if I've ever been there before and I said no so she said welcome and showed me how to order on the menu. They have a menu that's laminated and you pick what you want and just mark with the dry erase marker, which is great when I turned over the menu and I seen all the different kinds of sushi, they had it made a lot easier for her rather than her writing down everything. I'm not big on sushi, but I saw other people post pictures of standard Chinese dishes so that's what I was in the mood for. As far as the dishes that are standard Chinese, it looked to be only Lo Mein, Almond chicken and General Tso chicken most part . The Garlic butter rice sounded good and you could have different meats added to it. I really wish they gave the option to upgrade with the meal. I ordered the General chicken spicy, and it came with rice and soup or salad. I was kind of shocked when the only soup they had was miso soup. I was hoping for egg drop or wonton soup, but they didn't have that. And it also didn't come with an egg roll, which I had to order separately, so I ordered a shrimp eggroll for the side. I opted for the salad which came out with a thicker paste looking dressing and I asked what it was and she said it was a Ginger dressing. I didn't really like that so she gave me thousand island. The eggroll came out. It looked good and tasted good, but when I flipped it over, it was very oily and the oil looked like it seeped into the eggroll itself so the filling had kind of an oily taste, but still tolerable . The food came and was very hot and looked appealing. The taste was good also. The spiciness was nice for a change because usually they don't get it spicy when you ask for it. It came with white rice. I asked if I could upgrade to the garlic butter rice they offered and she said no, which I don't care for white rice too much so I brought it home. All in all, if you're a Sushi fan they looked to have a lot of great sounding things. As for me returning, probably not. They just didnt have many traditional Asian dishes I was craving and to not be able to upgrade the rice was big for me. read more

Had a craving for sushi and it was payday so I decided I was having sushi that day! I am still a newbie when it comes to different rolls and I am honestly scared of eating raw fish so I played it safe and order two things I know very well: crab Rangoon and fried chicken. I got the tempura chicken roll and omg it was the best thing I ate that day! It looked small but it was surprisingly filling and tasted very fresh and delicious. The crab Rangoon was crispy and it wasn't the traditional sweet and sour sauce but it still was very sweet and tasty. It looked and tasted like it was made in house (which it was). The place itself is small and doesn't have a whole lot of seating available but the wait staff is very friendly and gives you a comfortable, homely feel to the whole place. I highly recommend this place for sushi and I will definitely be coming back to explore different flavors and ingredients. read more

Well, unfortunately we won't be returning after the last visit. They litter all put black avocados on our rolls. When my Fiancé called, they said that it was how they were delivered to them!?!? So you put rotten food on peoples rolls and blame the supplier for that???!! Depends on sushi preference. I typically like raw fish so this review may be more biased as they didn't have many raw options for specialty rolls. They did have sashimi and classic rolls that were raw. But most of their specialty rolls had crab sticks or cooked shrimp. We also tried the bang bang shrimp, it was pretty basic. Battered shrimp with sauce poured on top. The avocado ball was good, probably the best out of all of the things we ordered. The restaurant is kind of small but it wasn't busy when we went. Would not recommend anyone coming here to eat. I have been to many places that serve sushi and by far this is the worst. Got my order and tried to eat not even a minute after receiving it. Tried one of the rolls i got which was a tuna avocado salad roll which made me feel severely sick and a salmon avocado roll that I had to spit out because it was so rancid. I called an hour or so after and tried to talk about getting a refund but was blown off and was told they would call me back which never happened. So i had someone else call for me because of how busy i was. Which was an hour and a half after the first call just to be told I have to bring in the order in order for a refund. While that's understandable the whole situation and how they handled it like I would carry around rancid fish on a hot day with me having me wait for a phone call. Highly unprofessional with awful food. I would just not recommend anyone to eat here. If i could leave negative stars I would. read more

They had two kinds of soy sauce, regular and low sodium. The vegetable tempura was one of the best we had, truly fresh veggies and it was super crispy but not oily at all. Shows that they use good quality oil. The fried rice was regular, nothing special or no complains. Veggie spring rolls were good. My son loved the plum sauce. The Nabeyaki udon was the only not one of the best kind of dish. It was too sweet for me. may be some ppl will like it. We got the meet replaced with veggies. The service was generally good, friendly and attentive. The girl who helped us was pretty new, she did forget few things had to remind her few things but she checked with us several times. Small place, stand alone location, was thinking it was in the small shopping center next to it, it's not. I started with an order of the bang salad with crab, sweet potato roll, miso soup, California roll with cream cheese and green onions added, lobster roll and miso soup. I went to sit at a booth but decided to move to the sushi counter since the woman taking the orders didn't even see me sit down after 2 guys came in for a carry out order in front of me. The woman taking my food order was pleasant and patient with me until I figured out my order, she said the flash bang is really good after I put in the order. She also asked if I wanted my salad first, I did. They do have a drive up window for carry out orders, how fun is that and super convenient too. The flashbang salad is very similar to the crab avocado salad a Sushi Q, has a slight kick to it, which is good for me. It's definitely enough to share with 2 people. I think I will be eating half of everything I ordered since I ordered on a very empty stomach and thus with my eyes. The California cream cheese roll came in 6 pieces as did the lobster salad roll, the sweet potato roll came in 8 pieces and was covered with a good amount of eel sauce. It's tastes good and has a slight crunch from the sweet potato tempura inside. The lobster salad roll is actually a crawfish salad mix and there's roe or eggs in them. I ended up replacing the crawfish roll with another Cali cream cheese and green onion roll and ordered 2 more to go for my husband. I never did get my miso soup but it the waitress appropriately took it off the bill and apologized for forgetting it all together, it happens. I am happy to inform you all that care like me, that they do have the natural ginger and not that pink one, not my favorite. I had heard a lot of good things about this place, so I came to check it out. Pretty cozy, maybe 5 booths and 7-8 tables, and like 5-6 seats at the sushi bar. It's a cooked roll with crab salad and tempura asparagus on the inside, and whitefish on top. Also very good, definitely had me wanting to try some other rolls they have. Meal came with miso soup which was good. The wifey ordered the general tso's chicken and some crab Rangoon's. The Rangoon's were quite bland. Unless you love straight up cream cheese, then you'll love them. She thought the general tso was not too good and too spicy, but I thought it was ok. It wasn't the usual sticky sugar bomb type of general tso's that you're used to. Sauce is thinner, less sugary, definitely spicy, but good. But why order Chinese food in a Japanese spot anyways haha. Ramen bowl was unseasoned and had NO flavor. The shrimp low mein was just as tasteless as the ramen bowl.
