I bought a case of coconuts (9 per case), but I found 4 of the ones I opened are rotten inside. I won't even bother trying the rest.

Please inspect your products on the shelves before selling. It is inconvenient for customers to return or exchange items.

This location is smaller than the others but still has room for an in-house bakery and a Chinese food to-go deli. The BF bakery had a promo, buy 2 pastries + a drink for only $6.99! Too bad they were out of boba. I got an oolong tea, a Danish Toast and a Blueberry Block pastry. Both were delicious with just the barest hint of sweetness. Then I headed to the back for some hot Chinese food. While browsing nearby waiting for my turn, I noticed a big guy hassling the worker to add more chicken to his 2 items combo. He should have just ordered more chicken à la carte, but kept insisting on paying extra to top off his combo, something the worker could not do. Before I could say anything to mediate, he stormed off acting like it was a language barrier rather than him just being difficult. I felt so bad for her. Please be kind to these workers who are really trying their best!

Maybes it's not a good idea to go into this store or any Asian store the day before Chinese New Year's. Of course I should have known...lol.... Parking here is sometimes a bitch even though it's part of a little strip mall with a decent amount of spots. You have people utilizing the restaurants next door, Vietnamese and Chinese. Which does stay pretty busy. The day before the new year, it was pretty packed in there. With loads of people shopping, they only had 2/3 cashier open. The bakery section right when you walk in was pretty busy as well. A line trying to pay as there was only one cashier who was pretty much doing everything. The store of course is pretty packed. Everyone there to pick up the last minute necessities. Produce department was busy but nothing compared to the butcher department. There was a massive line with people. The produce and all the meats and seafood are fresh. Always when I visit. You pretty much have everything Asian you need there. There's another Asian store not to far but this one has more choices on things. Also, there's a hot food department in the back of the store. Chinese food that's available à la carte or a combo. They also have packed items both hot and cold available. That too tends to have a good line waiting to pick up food. It's nice to have a decent Asian grocery store that's carries pretty much everything. The staff are always friendly. Produce, meats and seafood are always fresh. Loads of packed frozen food in the fridge. A really big selection of meats for hot pot and Korean bbq. Whatever you want, they have.

Well known Asian supermarket chain offer various Asian snacks, and all sort of groceries. Unlike other grocery stores, you can buy fresh fish, have them clean and fry for you. One of the cons about this place is their cilantro and herbs could be fresher.

Good Asian Supermarket with lots of options for fresh meats, seafood, produce and other Asian snacks, frozen food and noodles. Prices are decent but they often have some really good sales. Staff is friendly for this most part but the market can get busy and parking spots are pretty tight. They do a good job keeping the store organized and clean but it's packed with stuff in each aisle.

The most inedible chowmein I've ever tasted . Don't buy premade food here at least not this.

    Moldy coconut sweets. Careful.

Went on Sunday the 15th to get some sweets for Lunar New Year preparations. Tuesda the 17th, this is what I found on one of the sweets. Mold on young coconut strip. If you bought the same brand, please check before eating. I had stomachache because of it.

This grocery store will be your mind. It's an immersive Asian experience. Don't forget that they have a hot buffet in the back. Whatever you are looking for they have. The isles are wide and the store is very clean. You will love the look. The checkout stands are fast and friendly. You never have to wait more than a minute or two.

This market could be a lot better to be honest. But it has almost all the Asian produce you won't find elsewhere. This place has been here forever. It has improved but it can improve in the following years. Service has gotten better. Staff is more attentive. It's the interesting smells that get to me ( not in a pleasant way) other than that you get your things and go. If you're new here try to be open minded.

I always try to balance my diet with fish, meats, vegetables, fruits and Chinese food, quite often, and 99 Ranch has them all.. Located in major metropolitan centers, I highly recommend you also drop by any of their 99 Ranch branches in California and Las Vegas. To me, fish oil's main benefit is that it contains omega-3 fatty acids, which may help reduce the risk of heart disease so I often buy their sea-bream, cod, snapper or Pink Grouper or sometimes their fresh cuttle squids. If you're not into cooking your good, they too have a Chinese menu at the other end of the store with some of the regular Chinese dishes that suits your tastes. If you're also starving for bread, my favorite is one of their Chinese cakes, that usually keeps me full for a while. So, if you want to be healthy and eat a balanced diet, drop by any of their stores and also begin your wealth journey. Yes, your health is your wealth!

The space is really quite large. I was happy to see there was a seafood counter with a display case of smoked fish, a couple of dips, aged beef. The guys were super friendly behind the counter. I spotted the cafe area where they serve coffees and teas - I made a note that I had to come back to try that. Back to the deli counter - they recommended I try the smoked sea bass since they don't get it in often so I took some of that and a smoked salmon collar. The hand roll bar was empty since it was late in the afternoon but too early for dinner. I promised the sushi chef there that I would return. So I went back today with a couple of friends. We sat at that hand roll bar and had the best hand rolls I've ever had. We ordered a la carte and I absolutely loved those creations - full of flavor, texture - unique and tantalizing! I'm curious to go back and try some of the other things on there like the burger? the shabu shabu? I can't wait to see how they serve those items. Their little market area is fascinating as well - with small bottles of soy sauce aged in bourbon barrels and other delicious sounding ingredients. I did end up taking home a shaker bottle of their house made furikake. Can't wait to try that! I'm so happy this is in the neighborhood. It's a great spot to introduce friends to and serves as inspiration for anyone who loves to cook.

From the moment I walked in, the experience was great. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and all of the guys working there made it a point to let me know they were available if I needed help. As a first-time shopper, I never felt judged for asking questions or taking my time looking around. They were also extremely helpful getting my account set up and explaining how everything worked. The selection honestly exceeded my expectations. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable overall. A few items felt a little pricey, but not enough to take away from the experience. I've already been back twice since my first visit. I stocked my freezer with bone-in pork chops, lobster, and several other items, and the pork chop quality alone was enough to make me a repeat customer. I also loved seeing seafood options like orange roughy and red snapper--items that aren't always easy to find or are often sold out elsewhere. Knowing I can run over and grab quality proteins without making multiple stops is a huge plus. Beyond the meat and seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by the pantry selection. They carry sauces, seasonings, and other staples, and there were some really good sales happening at the front of the store. Parking was easy, and while most people seemed to get in and out quickly, I happily wandered every aisle because I wanted to see everything. If you're a home cook or a fellow chef looking for quality frozen, vacuum-sealed proteins and a fantastic selection, I definitely recommend checking out Wild Fork. I'll absolutely be back.

She was upset about a small sample paper cup that was sitting inside the cart and accused them of throwing it there. The strange part is that my family member was still holding their own sample cup in their hand and told her that. Instead of realizing it may have been left there by someone else, the woman aggressively snatched the cup from her hand, and continued escalating the situation. The conversation was happening in Korean, and she began insulting them, saying they didn't even speak Korean and couldn't understand what she was saying. We are Korean by the way. All of this over a tiny paper sample cup that wasn't even theirs. The cashier seemed confused and was apologetic, clearly unsure why this woman was acting this way. What was more disappointing was that when it was brought to the owner or manager's attention, the response was dismissive. My family member was asked to let it go, not the worker It's concerning that someone felt comfortable physically reaching into a customer's cart and grabbing something from their hand, and that it was brushed off instead of addressed. Unfortunately, this isn't our first negative experience here. On a previous visit, we bought multiple cabbage that turned out to be rotten inside. I called immediately, took photos, and asked if I could return it. I was told yes, but the person on the phone sounded irritated, like it was somehow my fault. But did you realize that 3 years ago, they (Leriza and Andy) decided to open their normally wholesale-only doors to the public? I didn't until I was browsing their tiny FB page and noticed I had missed their announcement and promptly drove over to check it out. Behold, the bountiful offerings of the sea normally requiring a dicey (and someone treacherous) drive to DTLA down on 6th and Stanford to visit the wholesale fish mongers is no longer needed. Sitting up in NoHo on Burbank Blvd is this treasure chest for seafood lovers. They did some remodeling of the front office and made room for a retail service area to allow regular you and me to come in and pick up what we would like/need/lust after in regular cash-and-carry fashion. Mind you, this isn't a TJ's with little fillets individually packed in plastic - it's a real wholesaler with both whole fishes and various trade forms of fillets, nuggets and even the odds and sots needed for Asian recipes (like collars and bellies.... Yummmm) At last visit, he was still working on accepting credit cards, but that's coming soon. Meanwhile it's cash and grab a plastic bag by the pound of whatever it is that suits you. Note the hours, they're business-friendly, not for "oh what's tonight for dinner" friendly. You can call ahead and have your order packaged and ready-to-go without a wait, or browse and make up your list on-site based upon what's fresh and new that day. Just be ready with the whole list at once, rather than browse and can you add this? Um, on second thought, maybe that. You'll be buying wholesale, at retail quantity, and yes you'll be glad you did because unlike retail fish, these don't sit a day waiting to be put out the next, then sitting for a day while you get around to picking up the package, and then sitting in your fridge for another day figuring out what to do with what you just bought. Browse the website for the general inventory - prices are always market-based, so yes, they're around Costco, but no, not every single day will the price be the same. Go for it!
