The service was really great being that it is new and they're trying to get their feet wet in this area. I like that you can order ahead and certainly there's a big screen that you can order from in the store. And if you need help there's always assistance around. If you'd like a sample of the açai, definitely ask for it. Now I am an açaí snob, and I've tried many different types and the one that I like the most (that is Brazilian) would be less watery than what I experience here. The açai texture was really odd as it was way too icy and I had to cut the ice with a spoon. I even got a brain freeze. I didn't think açaí was the best I have tasted but then again it's all about preference if you like it more watery or thicker. The mini was the perfect amount and if you want to add more toppings, you may wanna opt for the larger cup.

    Coxinha ... so good!

Very cute place with friendly staff. They also have smoothies and fresh juices that are very refreshing. Try the coxinha it's so good with hot sauce.

delicious acai bowls! you're greeted with a smile and you can order on a kiosk inside. i liked that as i could see what the acai bowls looked like before ordering :) on top of their acai bowls and smoothies, they also offer small bites such as empanadas and cheese balls i got the tahiti, they're generous with their fruits but i wish i had just a bit more of their granola! their granola is really good! portions could also have a tad bit more but i'm not mad!! acai has a lot of flavor and a great consistency. the beef empanada was served warm and was pretty good! didn't have any vegetables inside (what i'm normally used to) inside has places to sit as well as the outside. it's very clean and well lit! my go to for acai in the area :)

super fast service & my bowl was great! Thank you! a lot of options to choose from!! Will be coming back for sure

Loved the São Paulo bowl! It tasted healthy and refreshing. I'm so glad they had empanadas here too -- I tried the spinach and ham & cheese, and both were yummy and freshly baked. Great service as well.

The food was excellent again, but I especially want to recognize Junior, who was serving the meats, and Nicole, our waitress. Both provided great service and were attentive throughout the meal. On my first visit, my only concern was that the dining room seemed understaffed, which caused some longer waits between cuts of meat. This time around, the experience was much better and the service matched the quality of the food. Junior and Nicole did a great job, and I really appreciated their service. After two visits and consistently great food, I'm happy to give Rio Picanha 5/5 stars and will definitely be back.

Favorite meats I tried there were the Picanha and spicy sausage. Some honorable mentions include the roasted pork belly. There were a plentiful selection in the salad bar including fresh fruits, various cold sliced meats and cheeses, and various hot soup options. Meats came fairly quickly despite it being lunchtime with one server carving the meat. He was very generous to make sure that he got ample meat and if we had any additional request. There is ample parking space out in the lot. I believe this restaurant used to be a Red Lobster based on the outside restaurant design or maybe I could also just be crazy.

We had lunch/brunch here and had an amazing experience! Andrew was such a spectacular server and even brought a great white wine to go with my ceviche. He accommodated to our party which had children and just provided just such a great experience for my parents 40th anniversary brunch. The menu has a lot of variety without being overwhelming or excessive (I don't trust restaurants that have too much on their menu lol). I ordered oysters, which were on the small side but the flavors they placed on top were amazing. I followed with an entree of ceviche which was generous, DELICIOUS, and nourishing. Our table ordered an array of items: Portuguese scramble, Shakshuka, Hugo's rotos con Jamon, the branzino, breakfast pizza, Italian breakfast sandwich, French toast- each one exceeding all expectations. Playlist was repetitive but fun for me, a millennial drinking mimosas and white wine lol.

I get giddy when I find little treasures such as this. I had originally bookmarked this little…read moremarket because of their empanadas, but I found so much more. The market is small and cramped and packed to the gills with Latin American and Spanish goods. They have good looking produce, a nice big butchery, multiple freezers and refrigerators filled with specialty items that will make your brain work on overtime. The way the deli works for buying their prepared food is different from some. You must first place your order at the back counter. You will receive an itemized ticket which you must take up front to the cashier. Then, you return to the back to show your proof of purchase receipt and then you get your food, bagged and ready. The total wait for us was about 10 - 15 minutes, not bad. I get it, why they have to do it this way, but it is time consuming and inconvenient at best. We did get some empanadas. They are fried, not baked, so have an extra good crunch with every bite. There are two ground beef fillings, i.e. two different recipes. Three were the wonderful filling that has green olives (my favorite), and one that was described as spicy beef (that really was not all that spicy). Both were delicious, and their dough was flaky. This could easily become one of my favorite destinations for a reliable empanada. Besides the deli empanadas, there was a nice selection of empanada disc's (round pastry wrappers) in the freezer section if you are inclined to make and stuff them yourself, and frozen empanadas made by Goya in yet another freezer. I also convinced myself I needed to buy two tamales. One Guatemalan, the other Peruvian. These are sold frozen and are ordered at the deli counter. Haven't tried them yet, but I am excited because they are not so easy to find. Other products that caught my eye included a fascinating collection of sausages, chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage), Spanish linguiça, Spanish chorizo, smoked meats (Corte's brand), smoked herring, quail eggs, and other imported delicacies. Perhaps I will not need to drive all the way to La Española in Harbor City anymore for Spanish imports? They sell a very comprehensive list of Goya brand products and prepared foods. I grabbed a bag of ready to eat sweet plantains from the freezer as well. All so tempting. By the time I had perused the whole store and was headed to the cashier, my guard was completely down. There it was... freshly baked goods critically placed next to the cashier so you can't miss them. Soft crust baguettes and rolls in baskets, and small, sweet pastries and cookies in their bakery case. There were several pastries that looked very special, some featuring custard or quince filling. We, of course, had to buy some. I have already tested the one filled with the quince and topped with finely grated coconut. It was outstanding, not very sweet. The dough was lightly brushed with egg yolk for a rich, beautiful finish. These were super fresh and very tender. The baked goods are delivered fresh from an Argentinian bakery in Burbank. This is a great find! Not your usual small neighborhood grocery. I am very excited to return.
