He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done. Overnight, after they sealed the entrances, there was a lot of activity under my house and in the morning I discovered that "someone" had compromised, tore apart, 70% of the work they had just done. Later that day I saw a raccoon carrying something (I first thought, a rat, but maybe it was one of her babies). I don't know for sure, but probably there was a nest underneath which inspired the raccoons efforts to regain access. No transparency with what they were using or what they had treated. Always late. And we still had bugs/spiders/wasps/bees/silverfish! I took to doing the pest control myself for a year, which worked for a while. But it was time for a professional. Ok enough with the bad people, let's talk about Ameripest! My wife found them on yelp and called the number. Within minutes, Daniel returned her call. He explained his services, how they worked, the prices for each plan, and how soon they could come. The prices are super reasonable! Daniel was thorough and wasn't pushy regarding which plan (if any) we should get. On the first treatment day, Kyle came right on time! He explained everything that he would be doing, and the treatment took about an hour (whereas the other companies took like 20-30 mins tops). Once finished, we got a detailed report sent to us, outlining what was used and where exactly he treated the inside and outside of the home. Even on first treatment, the bug situation got exponentially better! They also include a 30 day follow up treatment, whereby if you see anything, just give them a call and they'll come back out. As those of us with pests know, they don't all die on the first spray. The turnover is quick on those German cockroaches, so the follow-up spray is necessary. I know it seems like you can pay any company to make your pest problem go away, but that's completely untrue. Ameripest was more thorough, transparent, and better priced than any of the other companies we tried.

It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

They had to call in a third party to get rid of the asbestos, but we paid everything and handled everything through Green Rodent. Martin and his team came​ out for two days of cleaning, hole patching, trap setting of the attic, garage and exterior house. Martin and his team did an amazing job in a timely manner. They were able to address our concerns in real time and went above and beyond to make sure our house was safe from further rat infestations. Overall everyone at this company was great to work with when we had questions (and we had plenty). Our attic is about 700 sq ft, and the house is about 1400 sq ft. The cost was about $10,700 which included asbestos clean out, attic clean out, rat containment, decontamination, rodent proofing of the attic and exterior, furnace closet clean out and proofing (bc the rats got into it), garage cleaning/decontamiation/proofing, reinstalling insulation and ducts, 2 year warranty AND a custom outside door that goes from the garage to the side of the house (not main garage door if that makes sense). It might seem pricey but in comparison to a different company in our area who quoted around the same price but didnt actually go into the attic to see what was up (aka didnt see the extent of damage/didnt know asbestos was there/ didnt know we would need the new ducts so didnt quote for that) and didnt have the additional custom door, picking Green Rodent was a no brainer.
