It's been 5 years and we've had plenty of people up in our attic since Rodent Masters completed our job and any time someone goes up there, I beg them to check and double check to ensure there are no rodent droppings. During this time, we have not heard a peep in the attic which is a complete 180 from what we were hearing before - it always sounded like the rats were having a party up there in the middle of the night. The process took about a month from start to finnish because the first thing they do is cover and patch all holes or entrances up so that nothing can get in (or out) and not just outside of the house but inside the attic and inside every single area from within the house. It's a LOT of work but they did it very well. Then, they came back and, in our case, because things were so bad, they sucked out all of the insulation and then reinsulated the entire attic with much higher quality material than what had been removed. Then they came back on final time to ensure there was no activity. So, I have no reason not to continue recommending Rodent Masters and I have for the last 5 years. I do think I will contact them soon though just to have someone do a walk around to ensure there are no new holes that have developed since they were last here. Highly recommend and I'm glad to see that the reviews continue to be outstanding since the one I gave 5 years ago!

It took 5 calls to the company to get a callback over a VOIP connection that was barely intelligible. The coordinator was able to get me in touch with the technician whose window for my appointment was 12 hours (as opposed to the 4 hour window I was given. While the scheduled services work well... communication (at last as of late) is sorely lacking and difficult. I would proceed with caution and am considering taking my business elsewhere as a result of this interaction. ADDENDUM: within an hour of placing this, the technician, Leon arrived. He provided a careful review of the situation and prepared a very reasonable plan to handle the issue. Customer service also called and apologized and acknowledged the error. It was good to see that the company was very responsive given what happened. They did right by me and I will continue my business with them.

They gave me a service window from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, which is already a very long window. I stayed home all afternoon waiting for them. At 4:58 PM, just two minutes before the appointment window ended, the technician texted me saying he was still 20 minutes away. I asked for a manager to call me, but no one ever did. In the end, the technician never showed up at all. A customer should not have to wait for hours and only be notified at the last minute that the technician is running late. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I spent a comprehensive amount of time perusing all of the different options in Los Angeles -- there are a lot of options -- and finally decided upon Rodent Professor based upon proximity and reviews. I wanted an estimate not only on rodent prevention but also disinfecting the basement and vacuuming up the existing rodent droppings. Since this is the first time I have used such a service, I did not know what sort of cost was involved and was surprised to see online estimates ranging into the thousands of dollars, so I prepared myself for the assumed cost. Nate from Rodent Professor came out promptly at the appointed time and inspected the entire house -- basement, attic, inside the house itself -- and pointed out several potential points of entry into the basement and attic. Later in the day, I received an estimate via email that was in the expected cost range but at the lower end. I decided to proceed with the work. Nate and crew showed up promptly on time and were very efficient in screening all of the openings in the house, in addition to disinfecting the basement and vacuuming. Leo is the man. Very prompt, professional, great communicator. He was very knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He showed me everywhere that he would seal for rodent proofing. His pricing was exactly where I would put it. He was able to fit me in in a week and on the day of the job he had 4 guys; 2 of which were family members. They were all very professional and worked very quickly and well. I had a lot of wires and lines running in the attic and was worried some of them would get damaged (I know my fault and they should have been tacked up to begin with) but they worked around them and nothing was damaged. I was also worried about my roof since it was just done with lightweight concrete but no tiles were broken. They setup portable walls that were sealed with contractors plastic sheeting so any dust/contaminants were sealed away and directed at a HEPA filter. They finished the 1300 sqft attic and also the garage attic in about 6 hours and it looked perfect. I was very impressed. They even removed about 50ft of old HVAC piping from the garage attic (when they probably could have left it). I feel like it's very hard to find contractors along with their team that truly take pride in their work in this day in age but Leo and his team are the exception. It helps that it is a family owned and run business which mean they really care about their clients and also the work done.
