I don't understand why AB Moving doesn't have all 5 stars, because they were awesome! I was given a cost quote way ahead of time, and the quote was supposed to be the "starting point", understanding that the total would probably be more. The guys (Juan and Ray) worked quickly and efficiently, and the quote was what I ended up paying. No extra charges or attempt at making more than I was told--in fact, it was obvious these guys were trying to work for ME, and were focused on getting the work done without costing me more. Juan and Ray were very kind and well-mannered, and with me being the only one there at the destination, I had no qualms. They were so respectful and even sat and kindly chatted with me, as I had difficulties when time to pay arrived. My debit card wouldn't work and I had to figure out another way to get payment completed. They waited patiently, and made me feel comfortable and helped my stress level (instead of making it worse, as everyone knows it's a very stressful situation when your only form of payment won't go through!). Here it was Friday night, and they were probably ready to get their day over and done--they were so patient and sweet, never complaining, until I finally figured out how to settle up (which I finally did, thank goodness!)...... I wasn't charged a dime more than the estimate, and they were so sweet, helping me to stay calm and get it paid for! I'm sure the whole crew is a great group of hard-workers, but I truly recommend Juan and Ray, and I'm keeping their names and information for my next move! No stress with these gentlemen, and that's a true blessing nowadays! Thank you for all of your hard work, my sweet friends, and thank you so my for the patience you showed! My wife and I used AB Moving's local moving service to move from Austin to Fort Worth, Texas. We were going to just hire two people from Craigslist, but we thought that we needed to use a service that is reliable in case something bad happened to our stuff. Although, we could have saved money we put our faith and trust in AB Moving based on their reviews and we are glad we did! This was our first time using a service for our move and we have moved a lot in the past (6 total), but going this route this time definitely helped a lot! We packed up our 2 bedroom apartment a week prior to their arrival, and so all they had to do was carry the heavy loads and walk a ton. They skillfully packed our UHaul truck (15") in a span of 3.5 hours from top to bottom - nothing moved around. Only two loaders came to Austin, but they were on time, friendly, and careful with our items and we're glad that nothing was broken! When we arrived in Fort Worth, there were 3 movers that came out to help unload the truck and that was so much faster and took only less than an hour. Overall everything went smooth, and if we move again we would definitely request movers from AB Moving. The whole process was simple. Great customer service. Email and text messages for updates. You can easily reschedule your move date. Save your back and energy. We're glad that we did! Tidbit: When you request their local moving services, they have a 3-hour minimum. After that time, you will be charged every 15-minutes or so. Also, don't forget to give tips and have snacks and water for your movers! read more

Had a late start this morning with a few unforseen mishaps. Our first crew called in sick. Our second had issues with their truck. I have to say I was quite stressed and irritated because we were on a time crunch of our own. However, it couldn't have worked out better for my family and I. TUCK, RUSS, DON, and DREW were amazing, took great care of our belongings, were personable and professional as well...Very unlike other movers we've used in the past. After all was said and done, I'm very happy they are the ones who ended up helping my family move. We had quite a few heavy objects to move down and upstairs and never once did they complain. I have NOT ONE bad thing to say about these four and hope to use them on our next move. If I could give these four men MORE THAN 5 STARS I would!!!! We were also called by a few different people who checked in on us. Everyone seemed to work very hard to make up for the issues that came up this morning. I am so glad other moving companies were to booked to schedule. Monterica was able get on the schedule very impressive considering how busy all moving companies are. Our moving schedule didn't work out due closing delays on a home. She and everyone we worked with was very upstanding, in all honesty I was expecting a charge to reschedule. Shockingly she said to call when we were ready. I called the next morning they were able to at least get one truck to get started. The crew Juan, Ray, Cane were/ are amazing fast, professional, very polite. They are very careful and take all precautions to protect your belongings from getting damaged. They are extremely hard workers its unbelievable how they can do ALL the heavy lifting and keep going until the job is done. Plus still smile laugh and be nice. Wow Wow Wow. I cannot express the amount of joy I had with this moving company. I got the pleasure of working with Jerome and Ashton, two of the sweetest beings I have met. They wrapped everything up beautifully and never made me worry about my items. They asked questions when needed, but were very competent and reliable with how they did their work, so I really didn't need to chip in much. I was able to stay out of their way and let them do their thing. Jerome was so kind, and Ashton was so funny, both being a team that made me feel comfortable. My most appreciative moment was when I had asked them to wear their masks(as my partner and I have compromised immune systems) and they said "no problem" and were able to wear them, helping to reassure me that everything was going to be okay. A good friend of mine referred me to AB Moving and saved me the hassle of research and vetting companies. I could not be happier! It was raining on moving day, which had me stressed out, but Chris and his crew really came through. They were prepared with blankets and furniture wrap and were very good about communication and asking questions about items and figuring out how I wanted things done. They moved me from my apartment into a house start to finish in 4.5 hours, and this included driving time to a storage unit to get an additional apartment's worth of contents, plus a half our drive to the final destination. This was by far the most complex move I've had while simultaneously being the easiest and stress-free in terms of the moving day experience. I have moved over 8 times so I am well aware of trying to always look for good and trustworthy movers. First, the company was very quick and prompt and honored their Fall sale quote they had advertised on social media. When moving day arrived, I was informed an ETA and they updated me with arrival and delays which I really appreciate. Connor and his buddy arrived and began pretty much immediately after signing disclosures and such. I was already prepared with my boxes and wrapped my tv's ahead of time. They still shrink wrapped everything which I thought was nice to see the extra care they took on my belongings. I recommend them 100%. Residential moving is not a business that engenders happiness and enthusiasm among employees. From initial telephone contact through completion of my move, everyone I came in contact with clearly took pride in their work and wanted to insure that I was satisfied with their contribution to the job. Justin, Roy and Ryan packed my heaviest and fragile pieces and made the move the next day. These are three professional, intelligent and pleasant young men who almost made the ordeal enjoyable. The crew gave me a courtesy call about 39 min before the confirmed time to let me know they were coming. They arrived, did a walk through of the house and the 4 man crew divided and conquered. I think they only took two short breaks from 7:30 to 4pm. In the end, they fully loaded two 26' trucks and are coming back in the AM to catch the few remaining items from the backyard left in the garage. We are putting our things in storage and AB will eventually deliver them to us when our new home construction completes; hopefully in about 4 weeks. Last minute change in moving plans left us scrambling with no availability from any moving service providers in Austin (End of July, UT returning students and crazy relo growth). AB had an open slot and J, T & D saved us - literally. We were completely unprepared for movers (due to last minute) but we spent the day working together to get rooms broken down, wrapped, and loaded. AB Moving was recommended to us by a friend. I usually don't write reviews, but our movers really impressed us! We had 5 guys come and help us with two separate trucks (all from AB). I highly recommend this if you are moving a family with a three bedroom house or more. Justin was the coordinator for our move and provided amazing service. He helped us with everything we needed. I recommend and would use this company again. We had a unique move in that we were having new floors put in so we essentially had to move out and move right back in. AB Moving did a great job of communicating and being flexible with timelines that kept moving. They even scheduled a Pod to temporarily move our belongings into while our floors were being done. All of our items from small and delicate to big and awkward were wrapped well and handled with care on both moves with no damage. I called Austin on the 19th to get things moved on the 20th, not only was he accommodating but came in with a price lower than any one else right off the bat .. no haggling .. then the next day 2 guys came out Russell & Payton .. these guys busted, had the move done in the amount of time it would have taken me to move 2 bins.
