Cute Latin coffee shop in the Mission! There's a good amount of seats and I can see this being a great spot to catch up with friends. I got the Cafe Con Morro which is a latte with morro syrup, made from morro seeds giving it an earthy and sweet flavor. You can get it less sweet which I appreciate and at about 30% sweet, it was perfect for me! Abanico is less well-known than other coffee shops in the Mission but this is definitely a hidden gem to check out.

I came back again !! Best coffee in town thank you Anna for your great customer service

Lovely vibes and ambiance with plenty of seating and great music. I enjoyed my cortadito, which was creamy, sweet, and nice and strong. My friend's iced coffee was just okay. The service was friendly and quick. The mural is beautiful, and they sell local artists' stickers, pottery, and other crafts in the back. They sell croissants, homemade Rice Krispie treats, and loaves to pair with the coffee.

I walked in this cafe because I had to go to bathroom, haha. I ordered hojicha latte. The place was spacious, and I was not rushed to leave, which I really liked. There was some Latin music playing and also some arts were displayed inside of the cafe. The service was very nice. Baristas were very kind:) I may go back :)

Came by on a weekend. There were a few people inside. The cafe is spacious. There were a few people doing work on their laptops. Staff were nice to answer my questions. I got a cafe con morro. A little on the sweeter side for me, but I liked the accompanying spices that paired with the drink. The coffee itself is good. Might just stick with a regular latte the next time.

This place has become one of my go to spots. The latte art is seriously perfect every time, and the baristas are super friendly. It's bright, cozy, and a great place to get work done. I also love that the menu is more unique, with flavors like cinnamon and condensed milk. Highly recommend!

Fun little cafe posted in the mission. Came here to try to their cortadito. Was surprised to find it was not too sweet! Personally wish it was served in a bigger size but nonetheless quite tasty. Drinks also came out quick. The inside is a vibe, with a few tables for doing work, but an area to glance at artwork posted around the coffee shop. It feels like a nice getaway from the outside world.

When I first walked in here, there was a pop up from a local pottery studio that let patrons paint mugs that would be used throughout the cafe. I really enjoyed how community-oriented the entire experience was and really reminded me of why I fell in love with the cafes in sf! As far as the drinks go, they have a pretty unique selection, and I ended up going for the cafe can coco y choco which was a silky latte with rich notes of chocolate -- super good!

Stopped in for a coffee saturday at 9am. Surprised this place wasn't packed for how delicious my latte was. I recommend the cafe con morro. The kind of latte you are happy to have paid for, in a mug, and with some latte art! It was actually so good that we came back the second day just to get the coffee again....

I really enjoyed this cozy coffee shop in the mission! Abanico has a rich coffee/tea menu, and the space itself has comfy seating and tables- a great spot to WFH or catch up with a friend over coffee. I like how it's a slow moving coffee shop, I didn't feel rushed to finish my coffee and leave. It was very calm and chill vibes. I got the Con Espumita cubana- a small espresso with whipped turbinated sugar and it was so good, very rich!

Hot chocolate was great! The staff was friendly and offered some non-caffeinated options for me. It's a cozy spot to sit in during the rain. My friend chatted for two hours and the ambiance was great. I'll stop by if I'm in the area next time.

Came on a Sunday morning around 10:30am, cafe was pretty relaxed only a few other guest so there was ample seating and space. They do have a variety of pastries available as well. Drink: Cafe Con Leche - a nice creamy latte with a dash of cinnamon and I requested lightly sweetened with the condensed milk Service was great so warm and friendly with great recommendations and very accommodating. Overall a nice spot to grab a cup of coffee with Latin influence for the specialty beverages while roaming the mission.

Really solid coffee. Had two espresso shots. They don't do single origin so it was the house bean which was real nice. Staff was friendly. Decor was nice. Mission outside is its usual shitshow self. Very worthwhile place to get a coffee.

So we got an extra drink for free. Trying the iced latte, it was pretty disappointing lol. I thought it would be similar to like a Hawaiian style latte with macadamia milk, but it was a lot lighter than I thought. It was definitely very nutty, but it also just tasted like water down latte. Honestly not much going on with the drink, but it does taste lighter in general. Crazy have to pay $1.50 more to add on this milk. Overall, its alright. I do like the natural lighting coming into the shop, but nothing too special.

We chose this large city location thanks to easy parking and a convenient stop on our drive. It was a beautiful morning, which was easy to enjoy thanks to the high ceilings, big glass windows, and open main door. The first floor has a central counter to order food and drinks; the glass cabinet has a bunch of rotating pastries from a local bakery. They have restrooms and a merchandise area here too. At the front are counter seats along the front window, and also a horseshoe that looks into the roasting area, which is a great place to smell the beans. There's an upstairs loft that overlooks the cafe below, also with a test kitchen area and offices across to the front. They definitely have a larger business going on, and I can see why it's so popular. We ordered a latte, iced coffee, and various pastries to start our day. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Where Sightglass lost points for me: -Fire up that hot spot, because there's no wifi. -My husband's breakfast sandwich was cold in the middle. -Worst of all... paper straws. But I have to praise that they do work fast and service is great. Indoor seating will be a tiny wait but is worth because the inside is so lovely, more like a Japanese tea room rather than some cafes that lean towards the clean modern usually all white interior look. We got seated at this cute little tea area almost felt like a sushi bar vibe. I was impressed that I could see that they had different water kettles labeled with appropriate temperatures for brewing their matcha. So I ordered for my date and me: matcha latte, matcha pie, and the cookie trio. Matcha latte was good! Nothing too crazy but still really good, I'm more of a hojicha person nowadays but solid drink and beautiful textured milk. The PIE! This is their best dessert and for good reason. Citrusy, but not terribly sweet, rich yet still has the subtle matcha flavor. I could see potential for a fall forward hojicha version of their pie one day. $10 for a slice but worth to share Cookie trio was a good pick too. My favorite was probably the Kinako oatmeal raisin cookie and I think would pair well with any warm drink. Matcha white chocolate cookie was not too bad, I think it benefited a lot from the bit of sea salt on top. The Hojicha chocolate walnut cookie was my second favorite! I don't see many hojicha desserts happening yet in matcha cafes so this cookie was a delight to have and honestly I've gotta try making my own. So warm but not too dominated by the chocolate. I wanna come back because they've got a matcha chestnut cake I wanna try next, just stellar for the desserts
