Such a cute delicious spot!! The food is amazing and the vibe/decor is so adorable! We started with the ceviche which was incredible. The beets are also delicious, must try. The falafel was good but not my favorite, although they say it's one of their best sellers. The carrots were very very good, just a heads up they are cold. The cauliflower head was also made just right, another must try! The grouper was very good but it had a spice on it that we didn't love but it was very good! Food - 5 out of 5. Absolutely delicious. The trio of dips was really good, I highly recommend going for that. Enough there for even 4 people to share. The black grouper main was good too, I also recommend. Pricing - 3 out of 5. A little on the high side, I think the fair price should have been like 10-15% lower, for the portions and the quality. Service - 1 out of 5. Oh dear. Our waiter (Achral?) was spread across too many tables, took forever to get service at times. When we ordered our food, he was so insistent that we'd not ordered enough dishes. But it turned out to be just perfect, in fact we felt a bit too full afterwards! He came back once or twice more to suggest that we order more too. Then when our plates were cleared, we had to wait a long time, finally flagging him down to order desserts, and to clean our table. Then after the bill came, he was also incognito for a long time, and basically the other waiter took pity on us and came to process our payment. He also recommended dishes that weren't very suitable; for example we asked for his recommendation of extra bread for the trio of dips. He recommended a bread... that already had lots of oil and zatar spices on top. Whereas something plain like pita or sesame bagels would have worked better. So overall, the food was good, but for this level of restaurant and pricing, one expects the service to be much, much better. read more

I celebrated my sister's 30th birthday at Abbalé last night. We did the Shabbat dinner (a set menu with 3 courses plus wine and desert). All items on the menu were included. We were 8 people and it was more than enough food for us all. My sister is pregnant and our waiter Ash accommodated her food restrictions. Manuel the manager helped me set the reservation and was very helpful with all my questions. Food was absolutely DELISH! I couldn't even take pictures of all the items brought to us (it was so much food). I recommend this place %! read more

Second visit update- excellent service, still charming patio. I had the halloumi salad, and I found the dressing made the kale too salty and acidic. The halloumi, roasted grapes, and walnuts were excellent. I also had the tartare which was really good (love the avocado and cilantro) but also salty. read more

Wow! Absolutely loved this new restaurant and had such a lovely experience. Went to Abba Telavivian Kitchen yesterday with my husband and our dear friends. From the moment we approached the restaurant's entrance, we were greeted by a lovely and warm energy, starting with the smiling hostesses. Everyone else who we interacted with on the Abba team could not have been kinder, more hospitable, or more helpful. Also, the space is super cute and has a really nice vibe. The highlight was definitely the food, which was delicious and beautifully presented. We arrived when the "Sunset" menu was being offered and shared a mix of items as a table. It's hard to choose, but some for our favorite dishes were the holy grail, onion tahini, mesabecha hummus, arak cured salmon, and the falafel. We had a few dietary restrictions that required modifications, and the team was super helpful and accommodating on that front as well. Thanks Abba team - we'll be back again soon! read more

Was waiting for this restaurant to open after seeing an article in January about it, and it did not disappoint! A few things to note: if you're driving and planning on parking, estimate quite a bit of time to do so. South of fifth is a very popular area and parking is very hard to find. The restaurant and decor is beautiful (as to be expected, same owners as Pura Vida which also has beautiful interior design) and I loved all the Israeli branded shirts and coasters. Here's what I ordered: *our table got complimentary pickles (they were good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to pay for them) *zaatar handcut potato chips- I've definitely had better homemade potato chips (my favorite place brought them warm and had both soft and crunchy pieces) but the zaatar spice really elevated the chips! *shakshuka (added eggplant)- was delicious. I can get really picky about shakshuka since I make a really delicious one at home, but there's is well spiced, and also cooked in a 700 F oven, which makes it totally worth trying! Also comes with warm pita (I also can get picky about pita, and it's made from a local bakery and is very fluffy) *fresh pomegranate, carrot and ginger juice- I found it overpriced- served in a small cup and was filled with ice (so very little juice was actually in it). Also the ginger wasn't mixed well so it felt like a ginger shot at the end of my drink and was very spicy! -Nutella halva babka- WOW this is incredible! Wasn't planning on eating the whole slice after eating dessert in the morning, but I couldn't help myself finishing an entire slice after a full meal, it was that delicious! It's a must try. Was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the arak cured lox or the salted chocolate chip cookie (both of which i was looking forward to trying) so I will need to come back and do so! read more

We went for Sunday brunch and had the most amazing an unexpected meal. I had Abba's Breakfast and it was wonderful and more than I could finish, my friend had three Salatim (translated to salads but more like dips) and they were delicious and substantial enough to be a meal. Don't ignore the iced tea (strong mint) or a well made iced latte. Our server was AMAZING. Everything ran like clockwork, we were not kept waiting and had plenty of water refills. They have indoor and outdoor seating, since it was the middle July we choose inside (with air-conditioning). I liked the décor and fake handing plants gave even inside an al fresco feel. read more

I was going to order food to pick up from Abbale as we wanted Israeli food. I was going to call the restaurant to place the order, and was shocked. There was no phone number listed. I searched high and low until I found an obscurely listed number. I dialed it only to hear a recorded message to set reservation online or... email the restaurant. Say what? No phone number? No live person? What type of business doesn't offer easily accessible phone number with live person, especially a restaurant?!? I have never encountered that before. WOW! Great food and wonderful service. I had a psagot which is an Israeli rosè from Jerusalem and my husband had the La vie blanc which is an Israeli white blend. Very tasty! The rosè was not sweet which I liked! We ordered the hummus and the fire roasted onion tahini. Both were delicious. I will add that I personally thought the hummus could use a bit more acidity (lemon). We ordered the special which was a smoked bone in beef short rib. YUM! It had a nice char and super tender. We also got the lamb chops which were SO good. They didn't have a lot of seasoning on them but the meat itself was bursting with flavor. Fantastic place to go when visiting Miami! read more

We had an incredible lunch here for my sister's bachelorette! We did the pre-fixe menu and each dish was so tasty and we had SO much food. Niccole was so responsive and sweet while we communicated to arrange this lunch and was very accommodating to dietary restrictions in the group. A really fantastic place. Nice vibe. I'm hoping it doesn't get ruined by all the attention, but it's well deserved. The space is small and sophisticated without trying too hard. A great reason to go to Miami Beach. Then you can walk off your meal by heading towards the sand. If you go for lunch, a walk to the pier is a must. South Pointe Park is really beautiful.
