We came here for dinner over the week. The staff greeted us and we sat outside in their lovely patio for our reservation. My friend ordered a beer and I got their Passion Margarita which they had to sub with vermouth as they were out of agave (?), weird. It didn't taste the best and was ok. For food, we shared the Salatim trio dip of Babaghanoush, Muhammara, and Whipped Feta and Pistachio with pita. The dips were so delicious, we loved them. We also got the Ahi Tuna Tartare mezze, Pan Roasted Double Cut Lamb Chops entree, and Fire Roasted Carrots side. The tuna tartare was fresh and the lamb was tender and had a great charred flavor. It was plenty of food for the both of us and all so good. Overall, the service was ok and so were the drinks. The food was the highlight for us here.

Great experience! It is hard to find Israeli food anywhere in the US. This is actually our fray into trying cuisine that claims to be based on the delicacies from Tel Aviv. And it was good. They have a special menu for dinner, being $45 for a 3 course meal per person. We consider it pretty good value. For starters, we had the hummus with grilled mushrooms, the local fish ceviche and the garlic bread Frena. All three were fantastic for the palette. The hummus was the smoothest I have had, both the pita and the Frena were flavorful and fresh out of the oven. The fish ceviche was delightful. Our mains were lamb kefta and the sumac lemon chicken shashlik. These were actually the weakest parts. They were good but I have had similar dishes before of comparable qualities in a few other restaurants. The desserts more than made up for it. The coconut malabi and the coffee affogato were great, being delightful without being too sweet. Our server was funny and informative. The meal came with a mandatory 18% gratuity which we felt justified. The ambiance was classic and intimate. We do recommend this place for your future south beach outings.

Went here for the first time recently and was so impressed! Our waitress was such a sweetie, the restaurant was beautiful inside and out (loved all of the plants!) and the food was bangin. We ordered the tower to start and it was incredible. So many dips! Then we had the steak and halloumi/grapefruit salad - both I highly recommend. Make a reservation if you go. And heads up, beer and wine only.

Wow, even the plants are mostly fake the food steals the show. Everything was fresh, clearly made to order and tasty. It's hard to say meal stole the show but the soft serve was incredible. Such creativity paired with great ambiance and friendly but funny waiters. I am excited to be back. Perfect spot for a date or a night out with friends.

If you want to go eat in South Beach and not deal with the typical South Beach crowd, come here! Our server, Martinique, was excellent as usual. Love the music there, adds to the energy but it's not too loud. Favorite bite was the short rib, but everything we had was very well done.

Oh my. I've been meaning to get down here for years, but only just now made it. And I want to go back right away. FANTASTIC food (perfect veggies! perfect sauces! perfect breads - light as air!) and WONDERFUL service at prices that are, frankly, low for the area. Beautiful places to sit. Ah, Abbalé - I felt like I was returning home. We can't wait to visit again.

You will not be disappointed! Mmmmmmm, so fresh and delicious. We had the selections of dips with pita bread and the lamb chops. Worth every penny. Lovely patio South Beach dining experience. Not touristy, just deluxe.

My friends and I enjoyed an Israeli spread at Abbale - hummus, salad, cauliflower, onion tahini, muhammara, labneh, sesame challah, zatar laffa, drinks, and entrees of branzino and picanha steak. It was a lovely, colorful, and nutritious dinner in a beautiful floral setting. Only downside is no parking available - $25 valet or Uber are your best options.

I absolutely loved everything about Abbale. We started with the Salatim Trio & picked the Tahini hummus, muhamarra & the Persian cucumber which is similar to tzatziki. For entrees we had the chicken schnitzel platter that came with za'atar fries, hummus, & a side salad. I also ordered the Prime Brunch Burger that came with a fried egg, tomato & grilled onion with their secret sauce, it was AMAZING. Tasted like a fresh home made burger. For drinks we got the Abbalé Spritz which tasted like an adult Capri Sun & the Levant Americano, which idk what type of scientific mixture they put there but I'm putting it in my top 10 drinks. For desserts we got their famous Tahini Soft Serve thats drizzled with date honey, olive oil & halva which is VERY similar to mantecol. This dessert was just WOW, instantly became one of my favorite. Incredible food, service was quite poor. Came for lunch and we were seated then waited about 20 minutes for someone to come back. Very spotty overall on the service front but once we got our food it was incredible! Being served one pita with all the dip was a little weird, we had to keep asking for more (because it was so good!)

I've been wanting to have dinner at this restaurant for some time. Finally made it and had a HUGE disappointment from the reception, service, food quality and ambiance. It was all terrible. Don't waste your money. Lots of other places in South Beach. read more

We came here for sunday late lunch. Just walked without reservation. I have a feeling this will be more difficult once more people find out about this place. They are new and still hiring before they open for dinner. Everything was amazing. The hummus, pita and all the apps were fantastic. The Jerusalem bagel is unreal. Lamb chops ridiculous. Cant wait to come back to Miami and come here for dinner. read more

There are not a lot of options on the menu, but you can pick something healthy, kosher and delicious always, like shakshuka or hummus, kebab. Also it's nice to have options of fresh squeezed juices and one of my fav is pomegranate with carrot and ginger. Atmosphere, service are perfect. We have been there 3 time, and will be back again. read more

Absolutely amazing food, the small dishes to share are a must because you get taste everything this place has to offer. The cauliflower was our main dish which was delicious. We cannot say enough about how special we find this place. We were greeted by an amazing and adorable host (didn't catch his name but I loved his outfit) and Luis took care of us... he is delightful and on the ball at all times There was a beautiful lady that was bussing tables and she was personable and attentive and even the manager, Manuel paid us a visit. Just top notch in every way. I also met Nelson and he added to this perfect experience. Tonight we had the black grouper and it was cooked perfectly. Served on a flavorful red sauce with a hint of spice and of course our favorite bread. Huge thank you to Manuel , Nelson, Luis and our host and bus staff. Just a perfect night. read more

As South of Fifth residents, we are always looking for great restaurants in walking distance. Abba is not only 2 blocks from us but delivers the most wonderful array of Israeli food. We had lunch on opening day this week and tried the felafel sandwich. Light and fresh and delicious. Hot fluffy pita accompanied the freshest tastiest hummus (some of the best I've ever had). We went on to have the pickled veggies, beets, fattoush salad and shakshouka. I cannot express how tasty, healthy and flavorful their food is! Service was amazing and the atmosphere both inside and out is perfect. Coming out from the under the dark covid cloud this year and getting to experience ABBA was divine. What a beautiful and authentic spot! My husband and I came here for brunch, but would like to try dinner as well. This charming restaurant has incredible food, great atmosphere and very nice service. One of the best Mediterranean themed restaurants in Miami. The shakshuka is amazing, especially with the Bulgarian Feta which I added for $3. The food arrived fast and fresh. All of their food is homemade including the pickled onions. Make a reservation online ahead as their is often a wait. read more

Absolutely everything is fantastic here. We were in Miami for 4 days and went to Abbalé 3 times. The people and the food had us coming back whenever we could! The boreka, lattes, Jerusalem bagels, babka, breakfast plate were so delicious and authentic. We could t believe this place is only 4 months old -- they've perfected everything on the menu already! Food was no ok, ambiance is nice but we were asked to leave by our waiter to leave since guests were waiting for our table. We were not even done with our wine. No warning, just leave as soon as you can. Shame on them. As we were walking out-another couple was also completely shocked since the same to happened to them. NOT GOING BACK! read more

Wowowow we had such a great night at Abbalé. Our waiter AJ provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu/accommodating of our dietary restrictions. The food was promptly served and absolutely delicious. Could the portions be a bit bigger and the pita more plentiful? Sure. I literally come to this restaurant once a week and I don't know why it took me so long to write a review!!! If you haven't been here yet and are debating whether to go or not, you MUST. If you ask the staff to order for you, you will have the best experience. My favorite dishes are the falafel, hummus and holy grail. If you don't get the fresh mint tea or the limonana, you're be missing out. The atmosphere is amazing, the pricing is normal and the service is great every time. It is a great casual night spot, perfect date spot and great group spot. GO!!! read more

What a gem of a place! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was intuitive, warm, friendly and genuine! The chef/owner Samuel brought our main course to the table and you could really tell he loves what he does and wants every guest to have a superb dining experience. AJ was our server and he was awesome. Best dining experience we had in Miami on this visit during Art Basel. We look forward to returning soon! read more

We were really excited to try this place when we visited Miami. Unfortunately, it does not live up to expectations. The food is quite mediocre, the fish and chicken were both over-cooked. The worst part of the evening was the waiter who was incredibly pushy - despite us refusing several times he pushed the roasted cauliflower on us (failing to mention that it was an entire entrée). Two apps and three entrées for a couple is a ridiculous recommendation! We ended up over-eating and had no room for desserts. The food is quite pricey as well - so it's not like you can just waste it. I would not come here again, just because of that. read more

We dined on December 30 during the busy holiday week. We were blown away by the service, ambience and food! Our daughter had gotten engaged, and we were celebrating as a family. The staff was so welcoming and gracious to us. We appreciated all of the love they put into the meal! It made our celebration so memorable. Unbelievably delicious Shabbat Dinner is outstanding---this is a must to try. Each item was fresh, innovative and delicious. Beautiful outdoor seating area is a wonderful way to dine. We appreciated all of the small and big touches the staff did to make this an evening to remember. Highly recommend dining at Abbale! Abbale offers the best food & service I have experienced in Miami. I ate there twice (Friday dinner & Sunday brunch) in one weekend and both times the Manager (Manuel) and the servers (Nina and Mijeiry) went above and beyond to provide us with the best dining experience possible. By the time, I left Abbale, I felt like I had a bunch of new friends. The staff have a wonderful & genuine camaraderie which is rare in restaurants today and makes your stay very comfortable and makes you want to return. And the food! WOW. The freshest & most delicious vegetable dishes and pastries. For brunch pastries, I recommend the spinach & feta Bureka or any of the freshly baked Babkes (chocolate, dulce le leche) or the Olive Oil loaf or Banana walnut bread (all sublime). For dinner entrees, try the Moroccan spiced fish of the day (Black Grouper the day I dined and it was perfection) or the Lamb Chops (also perfection). The wines are delectable (I has the Rose and it was heavenly). There is a very pretty interior dining area - and a nice outdoor patio in front. Valet is available - even the valet drivers are nice! Authentic Israeli cuisine with bits of other world cultures in there as well. Thank you, Abbale. You are a reason to visit Miami Beach! read more

My favorite full service restaurant in Miami Beach. The service is always on point (Manu and his entire staff), they're extremely warm and hospitable and everything on the menu is delish. Vibe is relaxed and comfortable. All the dishes, small and larger are outstanding. Falafel, ceviche, hummus, onion tahini, carrots, the fish, chicken, etc. It's our go to. 10:10 recommend. read more

Founded by hospitality visionaries Executive Chef Sam Gorenstein and Pura Vida Founder Omer Horev, this culinary gem brings the essence of Israel to Aventura and South Beach. Abbalé Telavivian Kitchen originated in March 2021 in Miami Beach’s South of Fifth neighborhood and stands as a celebration of diverse culinary influences. Chef Gorenstein's expert touch fuses Latin flavors, while Horev's roots inspire a selection of mouthwatering Mediterranean dishes.

Meet the Business Owner: Omer H. and Sam G.

Omer Horev, founder and CEO of Pura Vida Miami. Omer's operational expertise and natural ability to identify real estate opportunities, led him to expand his restaurant portfolio. He spotted this location years ago and knew he wanted to open an Israeli concept that would remind him of home. Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Omer moved to Miami fifteen years ago and brings with him a palate for Mediterranean flavors as well as a passion for food and family. Samuel Gornstein, the chef and creator behind My Ceviche and Zuuk. Formally trained as a chef with Michael Schwartz and naturally a cuisinier who started at a very young age in his mother's kitchen. James Beard nominated for "Rising Star Chef", Forbes listed as "30 under 30", named one of "Top 5 Latino Chefs" by Poder Magazine. After successfully developing two restaurants, taking a culinary trip through Israel, Sam is passionate to take the South of Fifth neighborhood on a Telavivian curated experience.

Caleb got the El Presidente, which is a rum based drink with orange liqueur, vermouth, and pomegranate. The drinks were really good, and as expected in a place like this, a bit on the expensive side, but at Swizzle you have a mixologist preparing your cocktails, which always heightens the quality! ABBALÉ offers a fusion of Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu is filled with a variety of mouthwatering dishes that cater to all tastes and dietary preferences. If you're a meat lover, a vegetarian or even a vegan, ABBALÉ got you covered.
