    Calamari
    Tasha R.

The family had the sea food boils combo #2 and #6. They mentioned that the crab was good, they also enjoyed the veggies, sausage, shrimp and muscles. It was nice that they also serve it on a platter vs a bag like other places. They rated it a 4/5 for spice, flavor and quality. I also like how you can order other meals here if your not feeling like having a sea food boil. We also got some calamari for an appetizer. It looked like onion rings and it was also served with marinara sauce so it was a bit off putting. Not my favorite place for calamari and we will probably not order it again. I liked the dumplings last time we came but will definitely try some other items on the next visit. We had other family members order noodle plates. They had orange chicken which they enjoyed and took home since it was a large portion. The other had beef fried ho fun which had good flavor too but not enough veggies or color to the plate. Overall we enjoyed our meals and variety offered here great for families. The staff was friendly and always made sure our drinks were topped off. Inside it was clean and had interesting art work and decor on the walls. Price is also average but wish this place had something special to make us want to come back more often.

Combo 3 plus 1lb broccoli and extra 1/2 lb sausage. Garlic butter, level hot spicy

I was excited after a friend told me about this place yesterday- and as soon as I walked in I was happy. Not only do they have funny seafood signs and decorations, but the food. Omg. So good. Market prices are available on each table on the side of the napkin dispenser for combo orders or lb orders of specific seafood options. I'm a tad sad I didn't try a noodle dish yet, but the combo #3 filled me up way too much, for two (And I have leftovers). Service was excellent. The ladies never let my drink get lower than halfway down the cup. Bathrooms are clean and smell nice! Two entrances. Decent sized parking lot. Highly recommend for any seafood cravings while living here in the desert!

I heard about this place from my esthetician and from her description I just knew I had to try! The restaurant is in a quaint little house, it looks small but is decently spacious inside. Upon entering I was greeted right away and told to sit wherever. It was a little before noon and they weren't too too busy. I got soup dumplings and they were delicious! They did come out after my lunch entree though. Which was fine I ordered the spicy fish soup and it came out pretty fast. It had such good flavor and was slightly spicy so I added the dumpling sauce and more chili oil and boom delicious! The waitress was very attentive would check on me often and kept my water filled. I'd absolutely be interested in going back and trying the other items. Everything looked really good!

Came here with a friend, we've been wanting to try this place! We ordered youpo noodles and one of the seafood combos. They were both very good. The noodles were not something that I could easily get elsewhere so it was perfect. The seafood was also really yummy and although it was a lot of work, we had a lot of fun. The interior is very interesting, with tropical beach decor and Chinese decor haha. The server was very nice as well :)

Use to eat here all the time growing up but now it's changed. In a good way too! The restaurant is more cleaner now because furniture was replaced. We got to try the chow fun! It was pretty good! Raman was good too! Each bite was flavorful! I will probably come back with my family to try more items on the menu!

My goodness, are you all in for a treat today. Join Tom Neiman, Jim Tritten, and a few of the boys from the VA Creative Writing Group as they report on another interesting eating establishment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Formerly known for just its Chinese food, the ABC Noodle House & Seafood Restaurant has now added Cajun delicacies to its assorted offerings. Interesting decor, a very friendly and helpful staff, and really good food should entice you to visit their location on Menaul near Moon. Youpo Noodles with Beef (Almost like a chow fun noodle option) $12 for a portion half the amount you can get at other Chinese restaurants offering chow fun, beef was not soft or tender. Sauce is actually hot chili oil not like traditional soy sauce chow fun sauce or flavors

We ordered 2lbs of king crab and 1lb of shrimp combo in Cajun seasoning with red potatoes and corn. Hit the spot! Service was fast, attentive, and friendly. Place was very clean. Would definitely come again.

Friendly service and open later than other spots in my area. Fried rice is a little oily for my liking.

Nice restaurant, very nice and friendly staff. Food not so good. Over priced menu items, very much under seasoned food. I'm not going back.

The wait staff was nice to give us another one cuz we sent it back, but it came back again with the same smell so we were worried but it tasted fine and we didn't get sick hahahaha. Wouldn't order it again tho because of the smell. steam chicken feet 5/5: nicely steamed with a spicy kick. steamed egg yolk bun 4/5: this is the main reason we come here! love the topping on the bun and the flavors of the steamed egg yolk. Normally it's a bit runnier which would make it a 5 but it was a bit oversteamed today. IT Dim Sum is a great choice if you're craving dim sum in the ABQ area. Haven't found another spot to beat it yet so it's our go to spot when we're in town!

That instant closeness and hospitality, in the backdrop of traditional comforting interior decor made us feel so welcome and relaxed. But the food is beyond amazing. The roasted duck is crispy and packed with flavor. Beef hot pot too, with the beef stewed to softness and soaking up the sweet and umami sauce in the pot. The tofu shines through the array of heavy hitter meaty dishes. The salted dried fish gave the tofu a funky taste and it mixes brilliantly with the rice. Pork ribs, oh my god, I can't believe of all the dishes, the easiest people pleaser won't make it to the top. Don't get me wrong, in any other scenario I'd have gone on and on about it, with that juiciness and spice but everything else is just so much sophisticated and enjoyable that I can't keep my chopsticks away from them. Honestly haven't felt this satisfied and well fed with my most beloved Chinese food for so long. There's one place I'd always think about whenever I think about Albuquerque, it's East Ocean

The owner is a very nice lady who seems very friendly personable with her customers. As customers walked in she remembered their food preferences , other customers here also seemed like regulars and were suggesting things on the menu. The owner was patient, friendly and stood there the whole time helping me choose and navigate the menu since it was my first time here. That by itself is worth an extra Star . I orders the combination plate and she allowed me to make some substitutions. I got general Taos chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and low mein with vegetables. There was also a soup that came for free I think it's egg drop soup with some crunchies. The general tsoas chicken had a good flavor, I asked them to make everything spicy and it had a nice kick. It was really crunchy which I like but I can see alot of people thinking that it has too much batter and not enough meat. Also pretty much everything was pretty greasy when I don't mind but it's not the usual Americanized Chinese food people from other big cities outside of Albuquerque are probably used to: The low mein with vegetables was probably my favorite part. I added spicy to it too and it was great. I can see why people keep coming here; it's a mom pop business where a real traditional Chinese owner takes your order and cooks for you and the food feels authentic. There's not many options in town for Chineese food that are decent and not chains. I would come back for the low mein and support the nice lady who owns this place.
