I hired this company to move my household items from San Leandro to Los Angeles. I thought this was a simple move and I failed to purchase insurance. Salesman was Amir. Delivery was one day late. They ended up being there on Father's Day As we were about to have dinner. I believe this was a tactic to rob me. My TV, expensive artwork, household items were missing. He pretended talking to his boss who assured him the items must have been left in the warehouse and they would call me the following day. After several phone calls, he admitted that the items were nowhere to be found and that their insurance department would help me. I spoke to Paul. After a couple of days, they stopped taking my calls. I wrote to the owner and never received a response. Perfect service I been moving couple time in last 3 years and all other moving companies has some of stupid fees that you need to pay for even booking but with abc7 movers the books is went really easy they have their open calendar in their website where you go pick the day you want to move and you all sit up it took me 4 min to do that last movers made couple scratches on my furniture but this guys from abc7 moving center i can strongly say that they all have enough experience they know how to take care of my furniture and my kitchen boxes they were all fragile nothing went wrong i really happy that I used their service and will recommend to everyone. read more

Wow, is all I can say. I had the worst experience with this company. The five star reviews or this "company" must be fake. I moved from my apartment to a condo a few weeks ago and the movers significantly damaged a lot of my furniture, including putting a huge hole our leather sofa, ruining chairs that are made with bonded leather so there is no way to fix them, breaking bowls that were well packed and marked as kitchen bowls, put a huge ding in my custom-built $1600 dresser, and multiple other scratches and dings. In addition, selectively wrapped some things and not others, when I told them to wrap my $2000 mattress in plastic so it would not get dirty (they had it on a wheeled trolley and the fabric was touching the ground), one of the movers seemed annoyed. They did not put down blankets to protect the floor as they lead you to believe. But the worst part of this situation is the customer service. I contacted Suhrob, the person seemingly in charge, about the damage with photos. He kept emailing me back like he was confused, I had to keep sending him the photos of the damage. Not one apology or concern. He was definitely not taking me seriously and would not respond with a solution. I finally had to threaten to write a bad review and take further action and he said he would send me the claim documents. That was a week ago. I have not heard anything since. I am sure, even if I do file a claim, I would only get about $20 dollars back anyway. I paid $800 dollars to move six miles down the road and expected my stuff to arrive in good condition. That did not happen. DO NOT hire this company under any circumstances. I should have realized that it was odd they are the only moving company that has a solid 5 stars. Oh, the other thing, the website leads you to believe this is one company, but the movers asked us which moving company we had contacted when we were paying. They listed off a bunch of different ones, which means this company likely contracts out to random people to do their moves. read more

Where do I start? Well I contacted this company about 20 days before my move-in day. I received a confirmation email stating the day and time of the move. Situations came up, causing me to have to move my move date. Again, confirmation email sent acknowledging the change. I had to reschedule one more time, but also got a confirmation email this time stating the new date and time. Move-out day rolls around and I was told the movers would be at my place between 9-10am. 10am comes and goes with no word from the movers. I immediately begin calling and calling and calling, no answer. I left two voicemails, a text, and an email. No answer. It is now 7:26pm and guess what!? NO ANSWER. Our household goods came and many of our stuff broke, there are too many things to list. The bad part is that they hire the mover outside the company, cheap labor and without any reputable resources. Now comes the worst part, they stole from our house as you can see from the picture. I have them on videos as well. Police report was filed. If I could give them "no" stars or negative I would. I had the worst experience with these guys, they were over an hour late, came with a truck too small and get this...NO MOVING SUPPLIES!! No boxes, no wrapping materials, no tools, it was a joke! DO NOT USE "ABC7" I wouldn't wish my experience on my worst enemy. No matter what "Roc" the sales guy tells you... bec the "manager" "AMIR" and him don't back each other up or show any type of support or guidance to the movers in the field. The movers don't work for the company they just hire per diems and pay them minimum wage under the table. Those poor guys whinwere Doing the work, it wasn't their fault, but they had to deal me, and my frustration and eventually infuriation with realization how they were totally unprepared. Your better off renting your own truck and picking up random guys from Home Depot! I'm serious. I ended up sending them home and hiring new people to come back the next day! Among so many quotes received, I found one from this business that was not lengthy and reasonable. The movers came and moved my stuff without any issues. They brought a big truck and wrapped all of my furniture. They are nice and easy to work with. My stuff was moved within the amount of time expected. They worked in good pace and made sure I got everything before they left. One thing I did have to do was to call the business the day before and in the morning of the moving day to make sure that they still had me on the schedule which they did. It could have been better if the business was being proactive in conforming about the appointment with its customers. In overall, I would still recommend using their service.
