    Veggies pizza

Adinas is awesome! I love ordering from here for all of our party pizza and lunch needs. Although this little pizza shop has no dine in option, it is completely convenient for someone like me who needs a quick fresh to go order, or needs to order food to feed our staff. The service is top notch! They are always on time and super attentive. They also make the best veggie pizza ever!!! Filled with broccoli, black olives, onions peppers, tomatoes, my favorite crispy eggplant and also topped with mozzarella cheese. It's hard not to be anyone's favorite! I've also had their meatball grinder and the rolls are baked so crispy yet still soft in the middle. I really enjoy Adinas and I'm sure will be ordering by next week again!

I love, love, love this place! It's a hidden gem in New Britain. The crust on the pizza is just right and perfectly crisp. They also get it right with the amount of cheese and toppings. They have great carry out deals and even $1 slices! I have eaten here at least 8 times, and the quality is always consistent. It is my favorite place for pizza in New Britain.

Love it here! I eat it often. Affordable price and way better than dominos in my opinion.

I am SO glad i did because this was hands down one of the best meals ive eaten in years. My girlfriend is pescatarian so we opted to have all vegan/vegetarian options and this omnivore did not miss meat at all. My favorite dish by far was the watermelon crudo which, to me, defied all space and time. The watermelon looked, felt, and tasted like a beautiful tuna. The flavours had a Vietnamese flair to them, including a chili crisp and fresh mint, and i was using the delicious and crispy fries to sop up the rest of the sauce. Everything we ate was incredible, flavourful, and beautiful to look at. The atmosphere was romantic and dreamy, a huge change from the pug filled cozy pub that it used to be as the corner pug. Service was lovely and they surprised us by bringing us champagne and a sweet note at the end. It was absolutely amazing and we felt so taken care of. I will be thinking of this place for a long time and cant wait to go back!

The Laurel is a spacious and beautiful restaurant. The staff are very professional and courteous. Decor is modern and chic. Food was executed well, coming out at good temperatures. As this was a pop-up dinner, I do want to return to try the restaurant's normal menu because I've only heard great things.

Steve was friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. I ordered the chicken tacos, but I didn't realize they were made tinga style. If I had known, I definitely would have gone with the birria tacos instead...I still regret not ordering those! The restaurant was smaller than I expected, and it was a little too warm inside for my liking, so we ended up taking our food to the car to eat instead. the tamarindo drink was crisp and refreshing. For dessert, I tried the flan. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, as it had more of a gelatin like texture. I personally prefer a creamier, custard style flan, and this one reminded me more of a boxed mix. The fresh flavors, generous portions, and Steve's excellent customer service made it a place I'd be happy to return to...next time, I'm definitely trying the birria tacos.

I visited this Mexican food spot(recommended by Yelp)& ordered a shrimp quesadilla w/ a sides of…read morerice, refried beans, and avocado slices. I also ended the meal w/ a flan. Steve was really nice when he took my order & chatted it up while I waited for my food. Inside was pretty small w/ a couple of chairs if you wanted to dine in but it was pretty hot in there. There was a couple of decorations & on their wall was food awards including 1 from Yelp. The food overall was solid. The quesadilla was flavorful and pretty tasty, but I do wish it had more shrimp. I even paid for extra shrimp & there still wasn't enough. It was more cheesy than anything. The rice was good & the beans had shredded, melted cheese on top which I love. The flan, however, wasn't good for me. It didn't really hit & was kind of disappointing. It lacked flavor & its consistency was off. I really liked their salsa verde sauce (it had gr8 flavor & a nice kick). The only downside was that everything came separate & nothing came w/ the order(no chips or extras)so it felt a little basic compared to other spots. All in all, it's a solid takeout spot w/ good food, but portions & a few items could be improved.

Consistent, flavorful, and good portion sizes. Went for lunch and the service was pretty quick,…read morethough we went right at opening so they were still in the process of starting their day. Lunch specials are smaller portion, but good for the price (raised to $12.95 now since my last menu photo) We split a lot of dishes because we couldn't decide: Wonton soup appetizer {4.5/5}: Loved how delicate the wontons were and the clear broth was great for a cold day. Tad too salty though. Lunch special --Braised pork belly {3/5}: Very tender, but kind of monotone in flavor. Very filling! Lunch special --Hot and sour gizzards {4.5/5}: This might freak people out in terms of texture, but I LOVE this texture. Good chew and pops of heat from the peppers and acid from the pickled green beans Lunch special --Cumin dish lamb {3/5}: kind of chewy and not as much flavor as I wished, but not bad! Chicken wings {3/5}: Crunchyyyy. Battered wings, not as much flavor as their chongqing chicken which I prefer, but not bad

Really good sichuan food, giant portions, authentic…read more Been meaning to swing by this place. Often cited as one of the best sichuan places around, had to make the trek to see. Outside is very much a busy shopping plaza in not the best part of town. Inside is a completely different story. Very clean and spacious, lots of booths and tables. Decorated well and a lot to see. The staff were friendly but there was a slight language barrier. We fumbled through the menu and found some bites to try. Food came out relatively quick, and that was a bit to manage because there were a lot of plates brought rather quickly. We got pics and dug in. The bites were flavored well. Nothing felt too greasy or under seasoned. The white pepper chicken was very crispy. But not a lot of chicken on each bite. The sweet and sour soup was both sweet and sour, but balanced enough that you could keep on eating it. The dumplings were fresh noodles and the filling was spiced well. The only flop was the spare ribs. Really tasty sauce, but very little meat on the bone. Had to suck on the bones to scrape enough meat off to make it a proper appetizer. It tasted good, just was not easy to eat. Price for the area was high for the neighborhood. It's got the quality and the flavor to command that price easily, but it doesn't match the stores. It's really good, but know that you're getting the real deal sichuan experience. Expect some heat, some saucy fingers, and some bones, and you'll get some really good bites

My husband and I told her it was our first visit to JG and she was delighted to help us with any questions or concerns. The menu is huge and it offers something for everybody! I decided to start with the apple salad, which was huge! It was crispy, crunchy, and had just the right mix of ingredients. My husband ordered a small (12in) cheese pizza, and I decided to go with a small (12in) vodka pizza. I love vodka sauce but had never tried it on a pie before, man was it delicious!- Chef's kiss! My husband really enjoyed his traditional cheese pizza as well! It was great to find a new haven style pizza joint further into the state. They also serve Detroit style pizza which I'd be interested in trying next time. The only downside was not having room to try the italian ricotta donuts that look and sound amazing (which JG doesn't start serving till 5pm). I guess that means we'll just have to go back! 10 out of 10 for JG, we shall return!
